** This happens to Master Storming Ox when [[spoiler:Master Thundering Rhino]] is killed by Lord Shen.
** In one of the final chapters, [[NinjaMaid Jade]] lets herself cry when she confronts Shen and [[YouMonster furiously calls him off]] for his willingness to destroy not only innocent lives but also drive his loyal right hand Zhan (whom she has come to genuinely love) to his possible death.

* ''Anime/StrangeDawn'': Eri in Episode 13, though [[{{Narm}} it's hard to take seriously]] since it comes off as more of an immature temper tantrum in her case.

* ''Anime/DragonBallZ'':
** Gohan has a variant of this after breaking through the [[SuperMode Super Saiyan 2]] barrier. What makes it so powerful is the implication that Gohan understands the kind of line he just stepped over to go this far (that his childhood innocence is lost). The implication is backed up by the [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown horrific brutality]] he attacks with in the next episode.
** Happens to Trunks in the Future timeline in ''Anime/DragonBallZTheHistoryOfTrunks'', who cries tears of rage at [[spoiler:Future Gohan's death at the hands of the Androids]] as he finally breaks the Super Saiyan barrier.

** Akira cries these tears again in one heck of a tear-jerking scene. [[spoiler: Akira finds Miki's house set ablaze by a mob with the dismembered bodies of Miki and their friends on pikes being paraded in front of the inferno. Akira, still in Devilman form, begins to cry. His anger overtakes him and Akira, tears still streaming from his eyes, calls the humans in front of the fire the real demons before incinerating them with his own flames.]]

* ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist'': Tears begin to well up in the corners of Greed/Ling's eyes as he destroys King Bradley's ultimate eye. For context, Bradley is responsible for losses in both of Greed's incarnations, and in Ling's case, Bradley nonchalantly murdered Fu, one of the most important people in his life.
* Marcos has an epic rampage in ''Manga/TerraforMars''. He screams his heart out and cries while ripping through a crowd of terraformars after [[spoiler:his friend Sheila is killed]].

* ''Manga/BattleAngelAlita'': Alita gets these when she believes that some thugs have killed Figure Four.
* ''Manga/{{Berserk}}'':
** Guts gets these during Griffith's horrific crossing of the MoralEventHorizon at the end of the anime. More specifically, after he [[spoiler:''chisels off his own arm'' with a broken sword in order to attack Griffith while he is brutally raping Casca as Femto]]. [[HopeSpot After this attempt to save her fails]], Guts [[spoiler:can only cry streams of blood and tears as he is ForcedToWatch the horrific rape of his lover continue as he gets his right eye clawed out.]]
** In the scene prior to this where [[spoiler:Guts and the Hawks discover Griffith broken and tortured, Guts cries while holding him and then goes... well, ''berserk'' all over the Midland guards holding Griffith captive, killing them in great swaths.]]
** After the horrible, horrible events during the Eclipse and Guts awakens days later, he goes through a monumental FreakOut that consists of many tears, utter despair, bursts of rage, and finally an epic vow of revenge in the rain.

* The teddybear fighter of ''Anime/AfroSamurai'' after [[spoiler:his mask gets cut down and we find out he's actually Jinno]] a man who ''can not stop crying'' tears of rage.

** In [[WhamEpisode Episode 22]] of Season 1, Lelouch has tears streaming out of his Geass eye when he declares his intention to find and kill [[spoiler:Euphemia, whom he has accidentally brainwashed into killing innocent Japanese people]].

** Russia does this in the Bloody Sunday strip, after a heartbreaking soliloquy and before opening fire on thousands of innocent civilians.
** Also the "Cleaning Out the Storage" Chapter, when America remembers how England helped raise him... only to nearly kill the rebellious America during The American Revolution and break down in tears when he can't bring himself to do so. ("You used to be... so big...".)
* The protagonist of ''Manga/LoneWolfAndCub'' does this a lot near the end of the manga, as he gets increasingly sick of having to kill scores of people who have never done anything to him, just so he can get at the BigBad.

He tries to kill Light on the spot as he lies bleeding out on the floor, but the rest of the task force grabs him, and the bullet misses by a few inches. * Jo from ''Anime/InnocentVenus'' has the more tranquil variety after piloting his Gladiator. It is said that a Gladiator pilot who doesn't show Berserker Tears, FreakOut, or some sort of negative response after piloting a Gladiator is a monster because of the nature ([[spoiler: PoweredByAForsakenChild]]) of the mecha. Presumably most of the pilots are not in on the secret, but [[spoiler: the children's souls]] manifest as some psychological effect.

* ''Manga/ChronoCrusade'':
** Given all the trauma the characters go through, it's a wonder this doesn't show up ''more'' often in the series. That being said, it does show up a few times--most notably when Joshua attacks Chrono in a rage after he finds out about his [[DealWithTheDevil contract]] with Rosette [[spoiler:after witnessing her dying in his arms]]. After his burst of rage, he falls onto his knees, sobbing.
** Not to mention when Chrono attacks Aion in an attempt to save [[spoiler:Mary, but ends up killing her]]. Or Rosette and Joshua's fight in the manga
* Maria does this in Episode 22 of ''VisualNovel/UminekoWhenTheyCry'' as she repeatedly gets revenge on her abusive mother.

Madoka as well, though she was able to hold her tears back long enough to stop Mami's rampage by killing her before she too bawls her eyes out.]]
** Episode 7 shows [[spoiler:Sayaka]] crying Berserker Tears as she's tearing apart a witch [[spoiler:that looks like her love rival]]. TearsOfBlood. While LaughingMad.
* Taki from ''Manga/MaidenRose'' when he singlehandedly defeats a group of students harassing him in military academy
* ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'':
** Naruto, in first-stage Kyuubi mode, when he beats up Deidara ([[spoiler:one of those responsible for Gaara's death]]).
** Naruto's also crying in Chapters 228 and 229 as he's having to fight Sasuke at the Valley of the End.
** At the end of Chapter 585 [[spoiler: Kabuto does this as he bisects Itachi, saying that he just wants to become himself and he won't let anyone stand in his way]].
** Ambiguous example in Kakashi Gaiden. After receiving his Sharingan, the previously Kakashi emerges from the rubble with tears streaming from his transplanted eye and proceeds to tear through his team's assailants with his now perfected Lightning Blade. The debate lies in whether this was a physical reaction to the Sharingan being transplanted into his scarred eye socket, or legitimately being overwhelmed by [[spoiler:Obito's death, which he blames on his late arrival in choosing between rescuing Rin and fulfilling mission.]] Kakashi before this moment had been a strict adherent to the Ninja code [[spoiler:after the trauma of seeing his father ostracized and eventually take his own life]], one of which stated true Shinobi never shed tears, compared to his present self teaching that one who abandons their comrades is worse than garbage. The contrast between the two personas and his behavior at the moment suggests the latter. On the other hand, frequent crying was also a trait of Obito, who had been the one insistent on jeopardizing their mission to rescue Rin [[spoiler:and from whom Kakashi received his Sharingan]]. The subsequent fight is either this trope or TranquilFury, depending on if the tears are emotional or physical.
* ''Anime/SailorMoon'':
** [[spoiler: Koan]] is screaming and crying as she attacks the Senshi during her heartwrenching VillainousBreakdown. [[spoiler: She gets better, though]]
** Usagi bursts into tears after failing to save her friends from being kidnapped by Rubeus, then angrily turns to Chibi-Usa for taking away her transformation brooch and is on the verge of ''slapping'' her before Mamoru held her back.

Kouta's also crying as he tackles Lucy after she murdered his father and sister and he bangs her body repeatedly into the ground. Lucy gets so upset by seeing Kouta's tear-streaked face that she starts crying too. And Kanae does this as she's lying dead on the ground from when Lucy cut her in half and she had been upset at her brother Kohta for saying that he hates her.
* ''VisualNovel/{{Kanon}}'': When [[spoiler: Sayuri is injured by a demon and hospitalized]], it causes [[EmotionlessGirl Mai]] to completely break down and even [[spoiler: [[DrivenToSuicide try to kill herself.]]]]
* Daisuke in Episode 13 of ''Manga/DNAngel'' as well as the final episode when he [[spoiler: stops Satoshi from [[BungledSuicide killing himself]], yelling at him to live]]. Also, in the most recent cliffhanger of the manga, Satoshi breaks down in Daisuke's arms. Of course given the context of [[spoiler:Satoshi begging Daisuke to turn into Dark so things can be over, followed by Satoshi putting a gun to his own temple when Daisuke rejects him]] it's also going into tearjerker territory.

* PlayedForLaughs [[SuicideAsComedy in]] ''Manga/SlamDunk''. When the HotBlooded protagonist Sakuragi Hanamichi is yelled at by the girl he likes (she thought he'd beaten up the guy she liked), he tried to jump off the roof of the building while crying Berserker Tears. Of course, his friends kept him from jumping and it was never mentioned again.
* ''Manga/{{Hellsing}}'': During her battle with Zorin Blitz in the 7th OVA, Seras weeps after she is {{Mind Rape}}d. Happens again during the flashback of her childhood as she [[spoiler: watches her mother's corpse being raped]].
* Occurs a few times in ''Manga/BetrayalKnowsMyName'' like with Yuki and Hotsuma.
* Misao of ''Manga/BlackBird2006'' does this during an AttemptedRape scene in volume 3.
* Rumi of ''Anime/PerfectBlue'' does this while watching Mima filming her rape scene and Mima does this during her FreakOut moment in her apartment following filming the rape scene, and as she's running for her life from [[spoiler: Rumi]].

* Ginza in ''Anime/SpeedGrapher'' as she's telling her love rival she wants to kill her.

* In ''Manga/MegaManMegamix'', Skull Man sheds these as he prepares to shoot [[FatherlyScientist Dr. Cossack]] after the latter comes to apologize for [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone abandoning him and sealing him away]].
* ''Manga/OnePiece'':
** After [[spoiler:Admiral Akainu kills Ace]], Whitebeard weeps briefly before utterly giving him an epic beatdown.
** In general, whenever Doflamingo uses his PeoplePuppets ability to force someone to attack someone else, the controlled people are crying and begging others to run for cover, as they are unable to do crap to stop themselves. Especially notable mentions are [[spoiler:King Riku being forced to slaughter his own people, screaming at anyone to kill him in the process, and Rebecca dashing towards her aunt Viola to cut her down (Thank goodness [[BigDamnHeroes Luffy stopped her in the nick of time]]).]]
** At the Reverie, King Neptune cries as he's about to [[spoiler:pummel the World Noble Charloss for trying to kidnap his daughter, knowing full well that this will ruin his late wife's lifelong efforts to make peace between humans and the sea denizens]]. Fortunately, [[spoiler:another World Noble defuses the situation before it could come to this]].
* Jeremy from ''Manga/ACruelGodReigns'' usually ends up screaming at Ian and sobbing quite hysterically whenever Ian tries to talk about or help Jeremy deal with some [[RapeAsBackStory unfortunate events that happened to him]].
* Kodai/Wildstar in ''[[Anime/SpaceBattleshipYamato Yamato II]]'', both in the movie and the later TV adaptation. After [[spoiler: Sanada and Marine Sargent Sato]] die in a HeroicSacrifice, Kodai flees back to his ship, tears trailing behind him while he mows down the mooks that get in his way.

* Happens at one point in ''Anime/PokemonTheSeriesRubyAndSapphire'' when Jessie's hair gets cut off by Seviper, enraging her so much that she starts crying out of sheer unstoppable rage, and starts beating Seviper with extreme brutality, complete with [[GlowingEyesOfDoom glowing]] [[RedEyesTakeWarning red eyes]] on her very furious expression of her face. It gets to the point that [[EvenEvilHasStandards even James and Meowth are absolutely horrified]].
* ''Manga/MyHeroAcademia'':
