If Satellite Love Interest is on here, then so should Demoted To Satellite Love Interest. And since many examples of Franchise Original Sin explain why something is bad in the new works, it’s a symptom of bad writing, and this index is for tropes that are usually symptoms of bad writing.

Added DiffLines:

* DemotedToSatelliteLoveInterest: Don’t let a well-developed character devolve into someone who only exists to be a good romantic partner.

Added DiffLines:

* FranchiseOriginalSin: Don’t let something present in older works lose what made it good or acceptable in new installments.

Troubled Production does not usually lead to a bad work. It's possible for a work to be have a stable development cycle and still get negatively received. Also, unexpected reactions can be received positively if done correctly. Empty Levels can happen, but only via bad luck.

* TroubledProduction: When outside factors interfere too much in the creation of a work.

* UnexpectedReactionsToThisIndex: A trope causes a reaction... but not the one you want.

* EmptyLevels: There should be a point to leveling up if you include the feature in your game.
