** TabletopGame/PrincessTheHopeful has the various minions of the Darkness, with the exception of the Darkened (those who have been tainted by the Darkness but have not yet lost all their Integrity, and who can be cured if they can get their Integrity high enough, or by magical intervention from a Princess). Darkspawn are created when the Darkness devours the last scrap of a Darkened's humanity, creating an inhuman monster (usually with little more mind than an animal). Mnemosynes are those who welcomed the Darkness in without a fight, retaining their human mind and memories but with whatever vestigial conscience they may have had erased. And the Cataphracts are essentially incarnate spirits of Darkness formed in the image of those who committed suicide or gave up on hope. None are the least bit redeemable.

** One of the defining traits of "monstrous" species in Menajerian scholarship is an inability to form positive emotional connections. True monsters will never sacrifice their own well-being even for kin or their own offspring, will never feel gratitude or loyalty, and can be cowed but never trained, domesticated, or befriended. However, there are some races colloquially referred to as "monsters" for which this does not apply: Manticores, for example, are capable of gratitude and of loyalty to those who have aided them.
** The flaw which makes pigs a tenant race rather than fully sapient is unrestrained appetite and selfishness. Pigs are biologically hard-wired to always take as much as they can get, without concern for long-term viability or what anyone else might need, and if not forcibly restrained by the fully sapient races would destroy themselves by consuming every possible resource and leaving a wasteland that cannot sustain life.

***They are still the least evil race on this list, even being classified as a "neutral" army in the game. They're just big, strong, generally not too bright, and afflicted by endless hunger. Ogres can and do live among other races peacefully as mercenaries as long as the pay is good and the food is plentiful, even allying with the "good" factions such as the Empire. They are explicitly mentioned as being able to form bonds of friendship with each other (a Tyrant's elite guard are often composed of their close family and "drinking buddies") as well as develop a master/pet relationship with their favored Gnoblars. While they do engage in fighting amongst each other for positions of power, they are perfectly capable of working together and most challenges (challenging a Tyrant being an exception) between Ogres are resolved in non-lethal duels rather than fights to the death or surprise attacks. Their Total War incarnations are introduced in a cinematic which shows them feasting, singing, and watching a sport duel while cheering with each other, giving them more of an impression of rowdy drunkards than anything truly evil.

Others like [=BlackWarGreymon=] and Guardromon.Guardromon are Noble Demons or had managed a successful HeelFaceTurn like Ghost Game's Mummymon. All-in=all, Virus types have an equal proclivity to goodness as they would with evil, and evil Vaccine-types (such as Cherubimon: Vice) and Data-types (like Dynasmon had existed.

Members of an Always Chaotic Evil race usually cannot qualify as a CompleteMonster no matter how intelligent they are, because being evil is a part of their job and thus they don't pass the moral agency test. The only exceptions are situations where this trope is trope.

a supposedly Always Chaotic Evil race has multiple members manage to turn good.

* In TabletopGame/WorldsWithoutNumber, this is examined with the Anakim. They are beings Blighted as living bioweapons and cursed with the Hate, which compels them to instinctively hate all other beings and makes most of them psychopathic even toward each other. Most Anakim embrace this and live lives of plunder and slaughter, but individual Anakim are sometimes able to control the Hate and live normal lives (at least if their neighbors let them), and the Anakim of Sarul and of the Aristoi Principalities use strict social controls (religion in the case of Sarul, and a brutal culling of overly-aggressive children in the Principalities) to establish functional societies.

* LightNovel/BalancingMySupportMagicAndSummoningMagicInADifferentWorld has the monsters of the new world. Regardless of race, they kill, rape, and destroy, for seemingly no reason, whatsoever, even their own underlings. It is presumed they are artificial constructs because when they die, they disappear in a puff of smoke, leaving loot behind.

* Goblins in LightNovel/GoblinSlayer. Make no mistake, the goblins here are possibly the most absolutely vile and depraved depiction of the standard fantasy goblin in modern fiction. Every goblin is without exception a self-obsessed and pitiless savage who would watch every other living thing on the planet die with a smile, including a fellow goblin. Adventurers captured by goblins can expect to be tortured, EatenAlive and, in the case of female adventurers, raped. There is a conversation brought up from time to time about whether benevolent goblins exist or not, and interestingly enough, the eponymous Goblin Slayer himself -- who's a shameless full-blown SociopathicHero when it comes to killing goblins -- does actually believe that there might be goblins who aren't evil. But the way he sees it, if they do exist, they're likely to keep to themselves rather than seeking out any sort of interaction with humans in the first place, and his viewpoint is only reinforced by the sheer evilness of virtually every goblin the cast ever comes in contact with.

* The titular Demons in Manga/DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaiba as a whole- save measly three exceptions Nezuko, Yushiro and Tamayo- are all ravenous canniballistic predators. Many commit atrocites above and beyond basic man-eating. This is however PlayedWith, as many demons have tragic or otherwise human reason for their evil; the enduring narrative is akin to the Oni folklore said demons are really modeled after, losing their humanity was the path to become truly evil, that’s why human slayers are mostly honorable people, while demons went completely evil, in the setting.

* The monsters in the dungeon in Literature/IsItWrongToTryToPickUpGirlsInADungeon seem to qualify for it. They always have red eyes and attack every adventurer they see with full aggressiveness. But they also have in common that they only have the intelligence of animals. The manga later also shows monsters with human intelligence and human shape, and they can obviously also choose the good side.
