** A RunningGag in the same LP is Stephen never being sure how to pronounce the item 'ether' and going through two or three pronunciations every time he mentions it.

* EscalatingPunchline: Stephen keeps increasing the number of successive years that ''Kirby Star Allies'' is his 'game of the year' whenever something he likes happens in-game. The joke makes a comeback for ''The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild'', which is apparently Game of the Year six years in a row despite only having been out for three at the time Stephen said it.

** During their playthrough of ''VideoGame/SuperMario3DWorld'''s ''Bowser's Fury'' mode, Stephen and Mal start gushing over the cats found on Lake Lapcat.
