In ''Pokémon Best Wishes'', they really DO!

** In TheStinger of ''Drake NYC Riot!'', one of the Website/YouTube comments Matt shows from his previous video tells him that he needs to grow a beard. 2 years later, Matt posted ''Why Beards are Awesome'', where Matt says why his beard is important.

* In 2013, a [[RealTrailerFakeMovie parody trailer]] was published on Website/{{YouTube}} for a movie called [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaxGjGFwE8M ''The Chronicles of Rick Roll'']], a movie entirely based around the Internet, but mostly involving [[MemeticMutation Internet memes]]. On September 20, 2018, five years after that video was published, a new trailer for ''WesternAnimation/RalphBreaksTheInternet'', a movie about the Internet, is released, which uses the Music/RickAstley song "Never Gonna Give You Up", the song that gave the basis for the title of ''The Chronicles of Rick Roll'', as background music. On a minor note, both the fake trailer and ''Ralph Breaks the Internet'' have scenes parodying pop-up ads that personify said ads as annoying people.

* There was a video that was made by Website/NiconicoDouga based on the game. ''VideoGame/PokemonMysteryDungeonExplorers of Time/Darkness''. At the end of said video features Shaymin, a Pokémon that couldn't be found in the game. Shaymin would later appear in ''Explorers of Sky'', the UpdatedRerelease.

** In his review for ''VideoGame/LesterTheUnlikely'', he ponders on what the sequels would be like, and mentions that the most recent one would come out on the UsefulNotes/PlayStation4, which uses technology to construct discs out of orangutan diarrhea, giving Blu-Ray a run for its money. The [=PS4=] would eventually come out, but it actually ran on Blu-Ray.
** The Nerd's review for ''Ride/UniversalStudios Theme Park Adventure'' for the UsefulNotes/NintendoGameCube was made while Creator/{{Nintendo}} was negotiating with Creator/{{Universal}} regarding the latter's acquisition of the former's theme park license (which was eventually successful). Granted, said game wasn't actually made by Nintendo (it was published by Kemco), but still it makes for a very eerie coincidence.

** At the end of his review of the ''Franchise/{{Castlevania}}'' UsefulNotes/GameBoy Trilogy he expressed doubts about the direction Creator/{{Konami}} was taking the franchise in and proposed that "maybe we don't need Konami", suggesting that perhaps someone could take the series to crowd funding in the same way ''VideoGame/MightyNo9'' took the Franchise/MegaMan series out of Creator/{{Capcom}}'s negligent hands, as well as taking the opportunity to replace the series' honestly rather goofy name with something new. In the years afterwards, Nintendo would release a cheaper, stripped-down Wii Mini, as well as VideoGame/NintendoLabo, a line of cardboard peripherals that the players must construct themselves.

** In the ''VideoGame/SilverSurfer'' review, the nerd mocked how [[OneHitPointWonder weak]] Silver Surfer was, comparing it to hypothetically showing Bruce Lee tripping over his shoelaces. A few years later (though it's not Bruce Lee), we have ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl'', in which several bounty hunters, futuristic agents, [[Franchise/MetalGear Solid Snake]], and Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog trip over themselves once every few minutes (randomly), with absolutely no way to stop it or turn it off.

* In Creator/AnnaAkana's "When you say something stupid", when Anna tries to imagine the dumbest thing Creator/ScarlettJohansson said, she cuts to herself as [=ScarJo=], announcing that [[TakeThat she'll star in the then-upcoming]] ''Film/GhostInTheShell2017'' LiveActionAdaptation. At the time, Anna picked this only because Johansson's casting generated controversy among people who (like Anna) [[WTHCastingAgency wished the studio cast an Asian actress instead]]. After the movie became a BoxOfficeBomb, this choice could also seem like Anna mocking [=ScarJo=] for attaching her name to a dud.

* The way {{LetsPlay/Chuggaaconroy}} timed three of his Let's Plays was very hilarious in hindsight: he starts playing ''VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles1'', Shulk gets added to ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros'', ''VideoGame/XenobladeChroniclesX'' is announced, along with the New [=3DS=] port of the original ''Xenoblade'' game. He starts playing ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiSuperstarSaga'' and ''almost immediately afterwards'' ''VideoGame/MarioAndLuigiPaperJam'' is announced. He starts playing ''VideoGame/Pikmin3'' and ''Pikmin 4'' is announced afterwards. Fans ''definitely'' did not leave these unnoticed, especially after the third time in a row it happened. [[HistoryRepeats Then Xenoblade into Smash happened again, this time involving Pyra and Mythra of then-current LP VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2.]] As Emile put it when he heard the news, "I'm three for two!"

Four years later, in 2014, Seinfeld would appear to disclose that he had self-diagnosed as being on the spectrum, only to later backtrack on that statement following criticism.
