*** Some of the other fractures also show the two competing in competitions that aren't life-or-death - whether it's race, an EatingContest, or a showmatch in the World Martial Arts turnament in front of a crowd, it's clear the two enjoy each other's company.

** The fact that Wiz and Boomstick go over Hank Pym's other accomplishments like being a founding member of the Avengers, creating the Pym particle, becoming "Scientist Supreme" and view his creation of the iconic genocidal killing-machine that has wiped out countless innocents since its creation as his greatest blunder. Like [[Franchise/MetalGear Raiden]] above, it's rather touching with how respectfully they treat his character.

* ''Galactus vs. Unicron'':
** At the start of the fight, the two combatants grab the planet. When Unicron grabs it, the part he grabs is damaged and burnt, as one would expect from having something so large suddenly impact it, showing that Unicron cares nothing for the lives of the inhabitants. When Galactus grabs the planet on the other hand, there is a ripple effect and the part he grabs appears undamaged. [[EvenEvilHasStandards This is because Galactus actually does care about life and would try to avoid unnecessary damage.]] He may have been preparing to devour the world, but not out of any malicious need or cruelty.

** At the start of the fight, the two combatants grab the planet. In fact, the first clash has both Goku and Clark sport genuinely pumped smiles, suggesting this battle will start with them on much friendlier terms than the last two times. Additionally, the music backing the battle feels like a TriumphantReprise of both "Alive" from Goku vs Superman 2 and "Mighty" from All Might vs. Might Guy, even sharing the same naming scheme as the two of them, being dubbed "Super", giving the match a feeling much less like two heroes fighting to the death and more of a friendly spar between Earth's two mightiest protectors. And all this to say nothing of the inevitable death of one of them being [[DeathIsCheap a non-issue]], as Superman had revived Goku before.

** One of the fractures in the multiverse near the ending can be hard to make out, but [[https://twitter.com/SXR123/status/1732343514539651579 one of the animators]] drew up a still where Goku and Superman are at the same bar seen in Rick VS The Doctor, playing with dolls and having the time of their lives in the process, further showing that even beyond the confines of them trying to test their strength against the other, they would absolutely be the best of friends.

** The Blips & Chitz is an interdimensional barcade. Who are its clientelle? Primarily previous ''Death Battle'' contestants, off the clock. Megatron's sitting with his table in his lap, perching Frieza's chair on his foot to give him an equal seating. Jinx and Harley are swapping stories with their weapons off to either side. The Dragonborn, Chosen Undead, and Dmitri are all having a drink together in Guts's honor. Alex Mercer is waiting for their order while Cole Macgrath is killing time at a prize wheel. The atmosphere is goofy, but ultimately cozy considering the preceedings.

'''Boomstick:''' He may be small, and he may be scared, [[CowardlyLion but standing up to our fears is what makes brave in the first place]]. [[MeaningfulName That’s why his name is Courage]].

* Digimon vs Pokémon:

** The reason why Pokémon VS Digimon was the season 2 finale? The show's 3D animator, Torrian, was working himself to exhaustion so Ben and Chad ended the season to give him a break.

** When a [[GoddamnBats Zubat]] approaches the Chaos Emerald that ultimately starts the fight, Shadow tries to blast it with a Chaos Spear when he thinks it's about to try stealing the gem. [[PapaWolf Mewtwo teleports in and reflects the shot away to protect it, before commanding Shadow to leave for attempting to harm the Zubat]]. Notably, there's no personal gain to be had, there-- [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Mewtwo]] saved the Zubat from getting killed in a purely altruistic act, continuing to live up to its vow to protect other Pokémon since its HeelFaceTurn.

* Black Widow vs. Widowmaker: Despite the fight at first glance seeming to be a straight-up case of heroic assassin vs. villainous assassin, Wiz and Boomstick make sure to point out that both of them were molded into who they were ''involuntarily''. Natasha has [[Film/TheAvengers2012 plenty of red in her ledger]] that the hosts make no effort to hide, and they point out that Amélie is still ''there'' somewhere under Widowmaker's brainwashing.

** During Goro's clash with Machamp, he roars at the Pokémon to "Face death... like a warrior!". It might not seem like much at first, but given that the Shokan Prince seemed to [[PoliticallyIncorrectVillain deride the Fighting-Type as a disfigured Shokan]] when the two first met, the fact that Goro is willing to acknowledge Machamp as a fellow warrior shows that the Superpower Pokémon has [[WorthyOpponent gained a modicum of respect]] from him.

* Shadow Vs. Ryūko

** After the Scissor Blade is shattered and Ryūko is sent plummeting to earth, Senketsu lets out a panicked cry of "Ryūko!", showing how much he cares for her... [[TearJerker which makes it all the more saddening]] when both he and his wearer are vaporized seconds later.
** Boomstick's theory that despite how much of an accomplishment this is for Shadow as mentioned above, it may not have been the victory he was hoping for, [[NotMakingThisUpDisclaimer since he revealed in an offical Twitter post that]] he was actually a fan of Ryūko himself, so he would probably understand how upset her other fans would be.

** The ending of the fight itself. Goku wakes up to realize, much to his chagrin, that he's dead, with Superman there to tell him he almost had him there and that he had fun. Goku eagerly tells him that he'll win next time, with Superman telling him he'll always be ready. The ending shot is them fist bumping, ready to go at it again. It serves as the image for this trope page for a reason; given how much both Goku and Superman mean to a lot of people, seeing two of the most famous heroes of all time show a sign of respect to each other after a fight where they left everything on the line to prove themselves simply hits on another level.

** During Goku's rundown, they bring up the fact that the Senzu Bean's healing properties are so great, they can regenerate entire missing limbs. Both Wiz and Boomstick actually look at their respective prosthetics, contemplate it for a moment, before both cheerfully admit that they are fine and actually proud of it. This little detail works well in two ways. One is that this further solidifies why Wiz and Boomstick work well with each other, they're [[BirdsOfAFeather both handicap individuals]] who made the most of it and made personalized limbs to fit to their likings. Two, this is a fine message to other people who are also with prosthetics that it has it's benefits too, and that it's okay as well.

** The ending of the fight itself. Goku wakes up to realize, much to his chagrin, that he's dead, with Superman there to tell him he almost had him there and that he had fun. * After Gojo VS Makima was released, John Mitchel posted the [[https://twitter.com/DYWTBA_Brony/status/1716834591162737125 storyboards for the fight]] with an extra part that didn't get added in; A week after the fight took place, Gojo ended up crossing paths with Denji and Makima's reincarnation, Nayuta, and after a look was exchanged between the two, Nayuta calls Gojo a dog which she herself considered a compliment after Denji chastised her, one could interpret this as the small remnants of Nayuta's past life [[VillainRespect congratulating Gojo for winning the fight]]. For his part, Gojo wishes Nayuta well and asks Denji to take care of her.

** Goku takes a quick moment to compliment Superman's costume, to which Clark replies by saying [[ComicBook/SupermanForAllSeasons his mom]] [[Series/LoisAndClark made it]] [[Series/SupermanAndLois for him.]]

** In the post-analysis, as Wiz is on the verge of an existential crisis as he's discussing the sheer importance of the matchup and the mere concept of DEATH BATTLE!, worrying if the show is pretty much perverting the concept of these characters and the values they carry, noting that it's VERY much not the show's intent on the side, Boomstick [[GetAholdOfYourselfMan slaps him back into reality]], as he proceeds to explain a reason on why the two do this to begin with:

** The above is especially heartwarming when you remember Boomstick had a very similar (albeit shorter) freak out at the end of Martian Manhunter Vs Silver Surfer. It seems that, in between that episode and this one, Boomstick realized exactly why he and Wiz still host this show, and doesn't want Wiz to suffer from the same crisis he did.

** Right after Superman accidentally destroys a moon, he is devastated by it. Goku nonchalantly tells him they can simply wish it back, also implying they'll wish back everything they may destroy back as well. Superman is reminded of his [[NoMoreHoldingBackSpeech World of Cardboad]] speech, and enthusiastically returns to form, ready to give Goku his everything. For a moment, Superman is reminded how dangerous he can be, and is likely grateful he has found something and someone who is willing to take it all in and fix everything as well.
