I love how that in Sora vs Pit, (SPOILER!!!) while Pit does die, he could always comeback thanks to Palutena, but with the past results of fighters dying in front of there loved ones or on a misunderstanding (Jotaro vs Kenshiro and Raven vs Twilight Sparkles), It's nice to see Sora not die in front of his friends and instead get praised for a job well done.
These two combatants knew what they were getting into from the beginning and more likely Pit and Sora would have earned each other's respect for putting up an amazing fight, what with Pit coming back eventually.
