Since he dies in the opening credits, Ashe becomes a CrusadingWidower for the bulk of the game.

* The ''VideoGame/{{Warcraft}}'' franchise had a LoveTriangle with Malfurion Stormrage and his brother, Illidan Stormrage, with their childhood friend, Tyrande Whisperwind. Despite Malfurion being in the room and doing nothing when Horde players attack reaching [[MemeticMutation memetic status]] in the forum community, it's an artifact from the days when he was still missing and is for the sake of a fair boss fight, [[GameplayAndStorySegregation not actual canon]].

* ''GuiltyParty'' has Butch and Charlotte. They may differ in [[MayDecemberRomance age,]] [[HugeGuyTinyGirl height]], and even ethnicity, but they're a BattleCouple and Butch is a hopeless romantic anyway. Interestingly, the game's other couple, Dorian and Olivia, is a toss-up between this and NoAccountingForTaste--they clearly love each other despite the fact that they argue all the time, but, well, [[spoiler: [[LivingWithTheVillain they're also one another's arch-nemeses.]] Dorian knew this, and still somehow doesn't care.]]
* Khalid and Jaheira of ''BaldursGate''. Sure, Jaheira is bossy around him but their marriage is a happy one. She also cries when [[spoiler: Khalid dies.]] The player character can also be married with either [[spoiler: Jaheira, Aerie and Anomen.]]
