* This expansion pack includes what is quite probably the most gratuitous Game Breaker in all of [[IncrediblyLamePun Simkind.]] You can Transmute metals in the game by using a Display Case, and tinkering with this can, if done right, bring untold riches. The only downside is that you need to create a Supernovium first (which seems to involve extensive fusion of Platinum), but once you do have that, you're in for something special. If you arrange 1x Supernovium + 8x Gold on the XL display case, with the Supernovium in the top left corner of the case with a gold bar stacked on top of it, and the rest of the gold put in the other 7 slots, it creates two bars: Compendium and Platinum. Once you have the Compendium bar, arrange it exactly as before, with it in the top left with a Gold Bar on top, the other Gold Bars in the other areas, You get...Another bar of compendium. However, it's value will have increased exponentially. By repeating this process, you can generate a super-dense, super heavy bar that can be worth up to ''2.1 Billion'' before it loops around and bottoms out at 0.

* The Multitab 6000 lets you Listen to Tabcast, which allows you to train a skill while also doing most other activities (except sleeping, socializing, showering, etc). The skills it can train are Charisma, Cooking, Fishing, Gardening, Guitar, Handiness, Logic, Nectar-Making, Photography, and Writing, and listening to a tabcast trains these skills incredibly quickly. This allows you to either train one of those skills extremely quickly (such as listening to a Logic tabcast while playing chess) or train two skills at the same time (like listening to a Handiness tabcast while using an invention table). It's also portable and lets you play an Online Social Game, which raises your Fun and Social motives at the same time, making it great for University and World Adventures. Finally, it costs less than almost every computer at only 750 Simoleons.

* ''University Life'' prints Lifetime Happiness like nobody's business. Every trip back to University gets you a chance to earn a Wish to obtain another degree, with the wish being [[SerialEscalation worth more Lifetime Happiness each time]], with the rewards for obtaining 4 degrees rivaling that of ''Lifetime Wishes'' at 30,000. There's also a Lifetime Wish to obtain 3 degrees, worth an above-average 35,000 Lifetime Happiness points, which can be done at the same time. Since Sims don't age at University, there's nothing other than the player's patience and pathing bugs stopping them from obtaining all six degrees over the course of their lifetime. You can increase this even more by attending for two terms instead of one - Not only does this give the wish to obtain a degree an extra week to appear but it gives a chance during the first term for a wish to 'Pass an Exam' to appear, which is worth an extra 2,000.

* Going to university can be more profitable than any job. For starters, if you score highly enough on the Aptitude Test (~1,800 out of 2,400) they will pay you to go - the amount they pay is based on the number of terms rather than the number of credits and a full scholarship exceeds the cost of the most expensive degree. Take a small number of credits for a cheap degree and
you'll receive this wish again, but get paid several thousand just to go. While you're there, make sure to Work Hard every chance you get and study constantly to max out your Academic Bar as quickly as you can. Why? Because you can go to the Administration Building to apply for extra funds, and if your Academic Bar is maxed out you'll get between 4,000 and 6,000 Simoleons. This is enough to match the weekly salary of many maxed-out careers and can be done ''every day'' by ''every Sim attending.'' This requires no skills, collecting, traits, qualities, items, or special activities, it merely requires owning the DLC, enough cash to attend University, and a decent knowledge of need management. Combined with the above, you'll also rake in a even higher reward...
huge amount of Lifetime Happiness points doing this.

* Similarly, ''Supernatural'' is very useful when travelling abroad. Fairies can use the Fairy House and Fairy Castle like a tent, which also gives them pollen punch as a free food source and mood boost. Fairy auras can also be used to boost mood. Witches are even more useful, because of their Hygiene, Hunger and Bladder charms and their ability to conjure apples as a food source.
