** After the first attempt at building the arch gets mistaken for a failed attempt at the gate for a Shinto shrine (and beating up the guys who made the mistake), Mitsuhashi makes a more minimalistic arch. That gets mistaken for a stand to put heads on display.
** After that, Mitsuhashi disappears and returns with an arch depicting a castle. The teacher criticizes him, saying it's trash and looks like the entrance of a love hotel and they couldn't expect more from him... And Mitsuhashi starts the RunningGag of [[CoconutMeetsCranium hitting teachers with coconuts]].

And the girl's ''mother'' explained it was a keepsake from their ''dog'', that they had nicknamed "Mama" when she had puppies.

** Believing that his friend may die with the regret of never paying him back the 2,000 yen he owes him, Itou tells Mitsuhashi to consider the debt paid... And that's when he finds out that ''Mitsuhashi was faking'': he had stolen a fake knife and fake blood from the theatre club...
