* ''VideoGame/BattleBlockTheater'' did not disappoint again for AGDQ 2016, with the reveal of the setup used and the technical difficulties, apart from one ''really'' cringe-worthy BlackComedy moment towards the end.

* During the Goof Troop post-run interview, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pscALD_dgSg&t=32m1s Sumichu gets a red card]] for her IncrediblyLamePun. She takes it in stride:

* ''[[VideoGame/BionicCommando Bionic Commando Rearmed 2]]'' run by [=PJDiCesare=]. There was an incentive for "Hype Mode" which consists of glitching the game so Nathan would keep screaming and it was made into a bid war during the run to switch between hype mode and turning off the screaming. The totals when the first checked the donations had the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kC5iiH7sY5Q&t=20m38s total for hype at $602.]] Silence? ''A penny.''

** However, possibly the favorite run of the block was obscure 2001 PC game [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gosSNHRPWZA "Arabian Nights" by Kotti]], featuring such gems as [[GoodBadBugs receiving an item on the current stage every time the protagonist hits the skybox]], baffling voice clips and animal sounds being played at inappropriate times, various body parts disappearing as the protagonist goes out of bounds, killing the sultan's [[EvilChancellor vizier]] while a princess espouses on the protagonist's "good heart", [[MarryThemAll marrying five princesses across the course of the game]], and ending on [[https://i.imgur.com/WxH0CUO.jpg this triumphant shot of the protagonist,]] leaving much of the audience and ''especially'' the couch members [[{{Corpsing}} on the verge of hysterics]]. Needless to say, [[https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/arabian_nights people were left clamoring for a rerelease of the game]] on [[Website/GOGDotCom GOG]] ([[https://www.gog.com/game/arabian_nights which it finally did by December 2019!]])

* The ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountryTropicalFreeze'' race was full of great moments, but the highlight came at about 51:40 when, after much peer pressure (and a $200 donation asking for it), the donation announcer sang part of the [[VideoGame/DonkeyKong64 DK Rap]], despite not knowing the lyrics or rhythm beforehand (he had to look up a Website/YouTube video to get the beat right). Also doubles as a [[Awesome/GamesDoneQuick Moment of Awesome]].

* While the Awful Games block is usually one of the funnier parts of the event with the commentary often making fun of the games and just being silly in general to make up for the games' quality, but with AGDQ 2016, special mention has to go to Keizaron's run of ''Animorphs'' for the UsefulNotes/GameBoyColor which was nothing short of a hilarious train wreck as the RNG constantly screws him over to the point where he had to restart the run as they decide to go with it and repeat what they said the first time.[[note]]Props to him clearing Levels 1-3 in 20 minutes when the initial run had him stuck on Level 1 for nearly 23.[[/note]]

* The run for ''[=PS5=]'' ''Simulator'' is full of hilarity, from [=Swordfish4649=] taking out an ''actual'' UsefulNotes/PlayStation5 box when he unpacks it, randomly flinging things to save time, and ignoring any and all suggestions by the narrator over how you're ''meant'' to do each task.[[note]]Examples include that you're ''meant'' to use the knives in the kitchen to cut the boxes open... so he uses forks from the nearby table, and only clumsily using, without any of the ''numerous'' extension cords, the same two plugs for the TV, console and controller power bank.[[/note]]

* Halfway through the marathon, the three stars of the ''Pokemon Crystal'' run from AGDQ 2022 (Keizaron, 360Chrism, and Shenanagans) alongside adef, returned to run a special kind of ''[[VideoGame/PokemonRubyAndSapphire Pokemon Emerald]]'' randomizer: Evolution Chaos Co-Op. In short, Pokemon and their moves are completely randomized, and every time a level up occurs, the Pokémon evolves into another random species, going from the likes of a fully evolved Pokémon to an unevolved Pokémon to even a [[OlympusMons legendary]] in the span of only one level. This creates a number of intriguing scenarios throughout the gme:

** The BrickJoke set up at the beginning of the run with, "We did it! We found the [[JustForPun khakis/car keys]]!" upon finding the final fragment.

* [[WebVideo/FoldingIdeas FoldableHuman]] consulting his co-commentator Crystal on [[EscortMission the solution to the fifth level]] of ''VideoGame/{{AMY}}'', which [[https://clips.twitch.tv/RelatedTubularCobraAMPTropPunch she delivers in motor-mouth fashion]] for about forty seconds, only for him to solve it seconds later by [[CuttingTheKnot running to the end of the stage, getting a keycard and reloading from a checkpoint]].

** During a particularly bad bout of rng, Keiz asks couch member Sprint for advice.

** Despite having no couch members and breezing by at 12 minutes, Iceplug's run of ''Home Alone 2: Lost in New York'' is a riot primarily due to him [[TheStoic stoically]] blazing through and commenting on [[EverythingIsTryingToKillYou the sheer insanity]] [[WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs of the game]].

** To get the code to the safe, Hobz interrogates Sent, who just happens to be tied up in a nearby closet. Sent actually likes his predicament, saying the closet is roomier than the trunk they usually keep him in. And he naturally talks about prizes during his interrogation, even asking Hobz to hold a plush [[Franchise/Pokemon Jigglypuff]] at one point.

* Much like the last time it happened, a chant was started during Dangers's ''VideoGame/{{SuperMarioOdyssey}}'' run. This time around? [[MemeticMutation Bruh]].
* The ''VideoGame/GolfIt'' run is 30 minutes of absolute insanity. At no point do Nichole Goodnight and Bathinjan stop talking, and couch commentators Mech Analyst Tom and Barry try to cut in and completely fail as they are talked over, talked down, and told off, in incredibly pleasant and delightful tones of voice. Not to mention the running gag of [[ItMakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext Robert Frost]]. And then Robert Frost's Ghost. And then Robert Frost's Estate.

** Melo is given the task of taming a wild animal protecting the tape: a ravenous [[Franchise/Pokemon Aragonite]] plush. He is less than excited while doing this, especially when the plush attacks him.

* Adef's VideoGame/{{Ratatouille}} run is made hilarious by the fact that Adef treats it like one of Creator/GordonRamsay's shows, with ''constant'' use of the memetic "Yes, Chef" line by the commentators, Adef barking out orders during several of the minigames, along with various lampshades being hung about the platforming mechanics and ''everyone'' being referred to as a chef, from the runner to the commentary team... ''to the donators''.
* The VideoGame/WildGuns run naturally has the runners, couch, and donations speaking in outlandish Texas accents. One couch member even belts out [[Music/JohnDenver Take Me Home, Country Roads]] during the credits.

* Adef's VideoGame/Ratatouille run is made hilarious by the fact that Adef treats it like one of Creator/GordonRamsay's shows, with ''constant'' use of the memetic "Yes, Chef" line by the commentators, Adef barking out orders during several of the minigames, along with various lampshades being hung about the platforming mechanics and ''everyone'' being referred to as a chef, from the runner to the commentary team...
