** A perfect example is shown in the "First Mission" arc (chapters 8-10). Starting from the simple mission that the Team would go on in canon, it ended up becoming much more when [[spoiler:the Church of Blood kidnapped them to try and capture Raven and summon Trigon. This, in turn, led to a series of escalating battles that resulted in an all-out brawl in the cult's headquarters, ending in an explosion that destroyed the area]].

This story is the first Multiverser fan fic ever written by Hero of the Multiverse, and the one with the most work done for it so far (both in rewriting and in amount of effort put into continuing the story above all the other ones the author has out so far).
