** Tina lost her parents in a car wreck, and bullying very nearly caused her to commit suicide.
** Yuki was bullied very bad, resulting in [[spoiler: her getting scarred.]]

* FriendOrIdolDecision: [[{{Inverted Trope}} Inverted]] as Tina is the one hanging off a cliff, and has to choose between her friend Maxwell who's holding on to her, or his manga, which was tossed off a cliff thanks to Selena. She chooses Maxwell, unknown to her that [[spoiler: Maxwell's manga were safe the entire time.]]
* GivenNameReveal: In episode 8, Yuki says that her real name is actually [[spoiler: Katrina]]. She says her real name caused ALL sorts of bullying at school.
