* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: Astolfo manages to hit a new level of this when he's distracted from his own Command-Seal-induced agony to admire how Sieg can really transform into Siegfried before he starts screaming again.

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Gordes is the definition of SmallNameBigEgo, but Rin and Shirou acknowledge that his mastery of alchemy combined with hand-to-hand does make him a decent threat, [[spoiler:and he even catches Rin off-guard by turning his pectoral muscles into metal to stop a Reinforced kick from her, a feat she notes is incredibly dangerous since messing that up would have turned his ''lungs'' into metal.]]

* SmugSnake: Just about everyone considers Celenike one, but especially Rin during their fight. Rin mocks her for her lack of Magecraft skill as well as emotional control and strategy in combat, especially since the last two mess up Fiore's and Gordes' own attempts to take Rin down. [[spoiler:Not surprisingly, Celenike doesn't survive.]]

** Furious with her recent failures & shortcomings, Darnic now has no qualms of sacrificing Fiore, his own heir to further his plans. While this is perceived as cruel, Darnic is not entirely wrong in his reasoning as Fiore is indeed too kind & soft hearted to be a proper Magus, much less a Master & her attempts in taming Spartacus have not been successful.

** Thank to the Dead Shift Command Seals, Shirou is able to keep up with Servants. The problem is because he is using them for the first time, it hasn't fully integrated with his body nor has he had enough time to practice with it, as Shirou himself notes.

Using pronouns to talk about Artoria in the context of her relation to Mordred is really confusing.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Tsundere}}: This is probably the closest approximation to the way Mordred feels about her father. She holds a respect for Artoria that borders on hero worship, and goes into a rage when anyone, even Artoria herself, suggests she wasn't perfect. At the same, Mordred still hates her father and will fiercely deny any positive feelings towards her, even as she continues to sing her father's praises.

Added DiffLines:

* WellDoneSonGuy: Underneath all of Mordred's mess of confused feelings, she ultimately just wants approval from her father, even if she doesn't realize it.

* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: Mordred falls into this hard. She is constantly bragging about how she is the only fighter to surpass her father, King Arthur, even though Mordred never actually beat Arturia. She also claims credit for the defeat of enemies that were either killed by others, aren't actually dead, or she needed help to beat (though to her credit, she does believe she killed them all herself). Its clear this is all due to her desperate need to prove herself to her father and gain Arturia's acknowledgment. When Astolfo calls Mordred out of this she flips out and nearly kills Astolfo right then and there.

* RealityEnsues:
** Even though Rin is a top class mage, she's still providing power to two Servants. Without enough magical energy for the Servants, this would naturally limit their abilities. She attempts to fix this problem for Shirou by providing him with Jewels as an emergency.
** Even though, she's a little more in touch with her humanity, it's really not enough to even begin to fix the bad blood between Arturia & Mordred. To her credit, Arturia is trying, but neither she nor Mordred has ever been the best with dealing or processing their emotions. One conversation in the midst of trying to kill each other isn't going to instantly solve their issues as one has been out of touch from her humanity for so long that it stunted her emotional & social development & the other is essentially a child in a teenager's body.
** Thank to the Dead Shift Command Seals, Shirou is able to keep up with Servants. The problem is because he is using them for the first time, it hasn't fully integrated with his body nor has he had enough time to practice with it, as Shirou himself notes.
** Fiore is one of the kindest people in the Fate series, but due to her Magus upbringing, she doesn't know of or understand certain things. This is played out as she cannot understand at all why Rin would choose to leave her alive after their fight, as it it atypical of a Magus' (Especially in a Holy Grail War) behavior, not realizing that despite being a magus, Rin is a kind person.

* ForWantOfANail: In canon, Jack managed to erode Atalanta's defenses, so she saw them as innocent children (which they are, technically) and flew into a blind rage when they were killed. Here, since more people get sucked into Jack's world, Jack can't spare as much focus on Atalanta, and she has only some minor guilt over Jack being killed.
