A 2016 ongoing featuring Spider-Man and Deadpool and part of the ''All-New, All-Different Marvel'' event, written by Joe Kelly.

The comic focuses on Deadpool and Spider-Man as they team up to face various threats. While Deadpool is immensely pleased as he finally gets to hang out with his favorite wall-crawler, Spider-Man is initially all too disgusted with [[ProfessionalKiller Deadpool]], having previously quit [[Comicbook/UncannyAvengers the Avengers Unity Squad]] because Deadpool became a member. As they team up and [[HeroesGoneFishing hang out]] together, Spidey learns about [[HiddenDepths the man behind the wisecracking mercenary]], while Deadpool starts holding himself to a higher moral standard in order to get closer to Spidey. It's not all bromance and sunshine, however, as Deadpool has been hired to [[BruceWayneHeldHostage kill Peter Parker]].

** During the events of issue 5, Deadpool breaks Peter out of the afterlife, having discovered he was innocent. While there, Peter encounters [[spoiler:Mephisto]], who rubs in his face that no matter what he does, a part of him will [[Comicbook/OneMoreDay always feel empty because it's lacking something fundamental.]] Peter, on his part, only vaguely recognizes [[spoiler:Mephisto.]]

** Spidey is concerned that Pool Fuel energy drink contains several ingredients he's never heard of, including [[Comicbook/TomStrong goloka root]], [[Comicbook/{{Hourman}} Miraclo]] and [[Comicbook/BlueBeetle vitamin 2X]].

** Chameleon serves as this for the first arc of ''Spider-Man Vs. Deadpool'', using Spidey and Deadpool's curent animosity for his own ends.

* HasTwoMommies: Gender-inverted:
** Itsy-Bitsy sees herself as having ''three'' daddies: [[spoiler:Patient Zero]], Deadpool, and Spider-Man.
** [[spoiler:Deadpool wholeheartedly embraces the idea of the reformed Master Matrix referring to him and Spider-Man as his "fathers". Spidey, not so much.]]

* MysteriousPast: The Master Matrix, SuperPrototype for SHIELD's Life Model Decoys. His blueprints were discovered on an old HYDRA base, blueprints HYDRA itself discovered some time before that.

* OedipusComplex:
** Itsy-Bitsy likes to tease her ''daddies''... in a creepy way.

** Later on, when [[spoiler:Spidey is actively trying to kill her]], she comments that she "always wanted to feel his body against hers... but not like this."

* SuperPrototype: The Master Matrix is one to the original SHIELD LMD units, who were all reverse-engineered from him by [[spoiler:Richard and Mary Parker]].

* ElectraComplex:
** Itsy-Bitsy likes to tease her ''daddies''... in a creepy way.

* YourCheatingHeart: Deadpool was a slight perpetrator of this. He was communicating with Shiklah while in Limbo trying to save Parker, and promptly hangs up on her when he sees Death. He greets her, but she says nothing. He asks for a hug, but she still says nothing, which makes him a bit nervous. He tells her she smells nice, then tries to ask for the favor of bringing Peter Parker back to life. He then asks her why she smells so good. After chatting a minute, Death grants him his request, but not before they start kissing. Their kissing stops due to Deadpool reviving again, with an outraged Shiklah glaring at him. He's shocked at the sudden transition, and nervous at Shiklah's anger. He tries to sweet-talk her, but she just [[ExiledToTheCouch tells him he's sleeping in the nail-room]] for having Death-breath.
** Spoiler for the Deadpool solo comics: [[spoiler:Shiklah is a perpetrator of this too, having cheated on Deadpool with ComicBook/WerewolfByNight.]]

* AllYourPowersCombined: Itsy-Bitsy is an assassin empowered by [[spoiler:Patient Zero]] tasked with framing Spider-Man and Deadpool, having access to both of their combined powers and arsenal.

** Chameleon has a Kraven LMD working as his NumberTwo, solely for the pleasure of bossing around a facsimile of his hated older brother.
** [[spoiler:The Kraven LMD returns the favor after betraying him, mocking Chameleon by claiming even an imitation like him is more worthy of the Kravinov name than he is.]]

* NeverMyFault: [[spoiler:Patient Zero (aka Weasel) hates Deadpool for killing him, but he ignores the fact that Deadpool only did that because he betrayed him ([[ChronicBackstabbingDisorder and not for the first time]], either).]]

* HeroesGoneFishing: Deadpool and Spidey at one point go out for a night of drinking. It ends with the two of them performing [[ItMakesSenseInContext a striptease to appease Thor and Spidey's succubus date]]. In a later comic, they celebrate the holidays together before a God representing the Christmas spirit of old crashes the party. It's worth noting Deadpool originally had an Avenger Exclusive party where Spider-Man wasn't invited to, but then the other heroes kicked Deadpool out of ''his own party'' for [[TooSoon making a joke about the]] [[ComicBook/CivilWarII second Civil War]].

* BigBad: [[spoiler:Patient Zero, initially, as he is the one to hire Deadpool to kill Spidey, and creates Itsy-Bitsy. Later on, Itsy-Bitsy herself takes the role after Zero is killed.]]

** Issue 46 begins the "Infinite House of Civil yet Secret Crisis War Invasion" arc, a satire on CrisisCrossover events where Spider-Man and Deadpool return from the Negative Zone to a bad future. The main villain of the arc is an apparent cosmic being called "The Manipulator" who kills, resurrects and retools superheroes and supervillains alike to engage in whatever conflict he makes them and imprisons them when he's not using them. A specific jab is taken at Secret Empire's FauxlosophicNarration when Doctor Octopus exposits his most recent outing using MeaninglessMeaningfulWords which are lampshaded by Spider-Man as such.

** Issue 46 begins the "Infinite House of Civil yet Secret Crisis War Invasion", a satire on CrisisCrossover events where Spider-Man and Deadpool return from the Negative Zone to a bad future. ** It's deconstructed when Spider-Man eventually begins to lament that not killing Itsy-Bitsy essentially just permits her to rack up her death toll and cites how supervillians ''never'' stay down after defeat, even when by all accounts, they should be dissappearing in prison for life. He begins to wonder if this just makes him an accomplice to her murders, as it is his responsibility to save as many people as possible.

* HasTwoDaddies: Itsy-Bitsy sees herself as having ''three'' daddies: [[spoiler:Patient Zero]], Deadpool, and Spider-Man.
* HeroesGoneFishing: Deadpool and Spidey at one point go out for a night of drinking.
