* WeaponOfChoice: Each Blade powers a specific weapon type, which usually gives a visual reference to their role. BladeOnAStick wielders tend to focus on offense, {{Bare Fisted Monk}}s tend to be healers, and so on.

* ShesGotLegs: Like a rabbit she walks on her toes, with her heels being functionally part of her legs, making her legs appear all the longer.

* MsFanservice: [[BareYourMidriff Her outfit]] is one of the [[{{Stripperiffic}} most revealing]] out of the blades, and she has a pretty large bust size for a blade based on a teenage girl. She also some slight Gainaxing. In the artbook there's also an image of her wearing a bikini.

* BerserkButton: Floren loves plants. Threatening to damage one makes usually makes him drop his cutesy façade on the spot.

* AchillesHeel: While blades can normally rapidly heal from any injury (albeit they can still be knocked unconscious), with a few exceptions (such as an Aegis) significant damage to the Core Crystal will kill them in short order. That said, its not a weakness that many can take advantage of, as it takes a great deal of power and precision to damage a Core Crystal. Only two characters in the game successfully use this tactic to kill Blades in battle (Mythra and Jin). A more easily exploited weakness involves the various methods to block a Blade's ability to absorb ether from the atmosphere, as without this ability most Blades are basically powerless.

* MythologyGag: He has a few references to ''VideoGame/XenobladeChroniclesX'' surrounding him.

** The antagonists of his Blade quest is a [[MurderInc guild of assassins]] he was once part of called the Bloody Lobsters, a one-letter difference from the ''X'' side quest villain, the Blood Lobster.

* MythologyGag: His Japanese name, Vasara, is also shared with [[VideoGame/XenobladeChroniclesX Ga Jiarg's Skell]], which is appropriate since the Wrothian race also has samurai influences.

* MsFanservice: Is the bustiest character in the game by a good margin, has an ImpossibleHourglassFigure, wears a [[VaporWear translucent minidress]] complete with AbsoluteCleavage, and has quite a bit of {{Gainaxing}} to boot.

* DarkIsNotEvil: As merciless and ruthless as she can be on the battlefield, going as far to even stomp on vulnerable Indoline Monks during her personal quest, she is an arrogant BloodKnight at worst. This T-Elos is also much less of a violent sociopath than she tends to be in her crossover appearances before this game like ''VideoGame/ProjectXZone'' and ''VideoGame/EndlessFrontier''.

* NiceHat: She always comes equipped with a military officer's hat. She doesn't wear much else.

* IChooseToStay: [[spoiler:Subverted. At the end of her personal side quest, she decides to make the World Tree's data archive her home for the rest of her life due to its wealth of knowledge (she notes it will take one-thousand years to study all of it, but her Driver won't live as long). However, she can still travel with the party and be sent on Merc Missions. She'll just be spending her free time in the archive instead of Garfront.]]
* MeaningfulName: Her Japanese name can be roughly translated as 'formula', befitting her analytical nature.

* PomPomGirl: One of her specials is even called "Electric Pompoms", and if her Driver starts a fight with a sneak attack, she'll start trying to lead a cheer chant for them. She's far too nice (and out of genre) to qualify for TheCheerleader though.

* PunnyName: The names of Nim's two foxes, Kit and Sunny, are a play on {{Kitsune}}.

* YouAreACreditToYourRace: Her stance on Mòrag. Despite all of her [[FantasticRacism assumptions]] of Mor Ardain, Mòrag is the one Ardanian she considers to be a good person, and can even be heard saying that she wants to change Mòrag's opinion of the Empire, never mind the fact that she's the Special Inquisitor.

* IrrationalHatred: Because they aren't the originals [[spoiler: and don't seem to have any connection to Mary]] KOS-MOS and T-elos despise each other but don't seem to understand why. They end up deciding it's because of their personality differences, but their driver thinks it's probably because they're too much alike under the surface.

* TheRival: To T-elos, carrying over from their home series. Unlike previous appearances, it only gets a vague mention in one post battle quote. Mythra, Zenobia, and Poppi also consider her a bit of a rival as well.

* SeriesMascot: Even people who've never played a ''Xeno'' game have at least heard of KOS-MOS, with only Shulk and later Pyra/Mythra themselves overtaking her thanks to ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBros''.
