Wizard City is the heart of the Spiral and home to the Ravenwood School. Since Professor Malistaire Drake's departure, the city has fallen into chaos as an undead army attacks its citizens from within. Over the course of the world's storyline, the player assists a team of student damage-control representatives in bringing peace to the city's various boroughs-- and, finally, in defeating the undead menace once and for all.

Wizard City The land now called Krokotopia is the heart home of the Spiral peaceful Manders. When floating refugee ships approached their home, the Manders took in the desperate and home to displaced Kroks-- who took advantage of the Ravenwood School. Since Manders' hospitality and enslaved them, creating an empire that quickly conquered the peaceful race. A small group of benevolent Kroks, the Order of the Fang, disapproved of this and wrote the Krokonomicon, a book of powerful magic that put the majority of the Kroks into an eternal slumber, saving what was left of the Manders.

Centuries later, the Marleybonian
Professor Winthrop's archeological team arrived from Marleybone City to excavate the ancient ruin known as the Pyramid of the Sun-- and in doing so accidentally woke the Kroks, who quickly re-enslaved the Manders and took back control of the land. * BonusBoss: He resides in a bonus dungeon designed to be completed by players 20 levels past Wizard City, so it's both optional and extremely difficult compared to the rest of the world's content.
* EvilGenius: He is harnessing the necromantic power of Sunken City to raise Nightshade's Army of the Undead.
* TheStarscream: If his bonus dungeon is completed after Nightshade's defeat, he'll explain how he took control of what remained of the Army. It wasn't pretty.

!!Sir Rattlebones

->'''Magic School:''' Death

Commander of the Army of the Undead's forces in the Unicorn Way borough.

* TheBusCameBack: It's becoming a running joke in the fandom. Rattlebones has made his triumphant return in two separate one-shot dungeons and as a special Shadow Champion in Mirage, almost 10 years after his initial debut.
* TheCorrupter: His plan is to turn Unicorn Way's guardian fairies evil so he can overrun the borough with his army.
* TheDragon: To Lord Nightshade, who is himself an early Dragon to Malistaire Drake.
* LargeHam: All his lines are like this. Since he's the first boss the Wizard faces, he (inaccurately) considers himself their ArchEnemy and behaves as such.
