Spelling/grammar fix(es)

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite his endless obsession with causing mischief and infuriating the people around him, Andy is ultimately a non-malicious boy who uses pranking as an outlet to express himself in a his dull hometown. Additionally, he does have his fair share of PetTheDog moments (especially when it comes to his friendship with Danny and his crush on Lori), and most of his major targets are often deserving of it.

* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: In ''Literature/AndyGriffithsJustSeries'', Andy and Danny's friendship was a dysfunctional mess based entirely in the fact Danny wasn't smart enough to realize Andy was a bad influence and Andy simply not having anyone who liked him. The show makes their friendship much more genuine, with the two being on a more equal footing in some ways.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Owing to the heavy use of grossout comedy in the books, he was a big NightmareFetishist in ''Literature/AndyGriffithsJustSeries'', often writing disturbing stories to amuse himself - qualities that he lacks in the TV show.
* AdaptationalIntelligence: His counterpart in ''Literature/AndyGriffithsJustSeries'' was very daft and BookDumb, often coming up with stupid ideas and lacking the wits and charisma needed to pull of his schemes. In contrast, Andy Larkin is a BrilliantButLazy BrainyBrunette whose failures usually result more from bad luck or unforeseen consequences than any incompetence on his part.
* AdaptationalHeroism: Downplayed example. While still a prankster who infuriates everyone around him with his mischief, he's far less of an UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist compared to how he was in ''Literature/AndyGriffithsJustSeries'', being depicted more as a self-expressing trickster who treats each prank as a work of art rather than the manic brat of the books.
