Then, in leg 9, he took his hat off when he had to bungee jump off a bridge.

Rock Climbing Instructor and College Drum Major. They quickly became the big personalities of the season for their FunPersonified natures leading to being the fan-favorites. This attitude didn't hinder their abilities as despite a couple of hitches, they were consistently one of the stronger teams. After getting on the first bus in Leg 10, they looked to be in a comfortable position. However, Floyd struggled tremendously on the bicycle Roadblock, as he dropped many shrimp traps along the way and had to retrieve them. To make things worse, the entire leg was run on bicycles so he was too tired to continue and collapsed due to heatstroke. Eventually the medical team had to intervene, but by then their race was all but over and Phil had to come and eliminate them in 5th. However through their fun-natured dynamics and rather a strong performance, they were invited back for [[TheAmazingRace31 season 31]].

* BadassGay: The first thing we learn about Scott is that he's gay when he introduces himself to Brooke, but that doesn't define him. Scott can act a little bit like a sissy at times but he is funny and quite brave for taking on his fear of heights and deserves a lot of kudos for managing to drag Brooke all the way to the end with him and win.

Law Firm Developer and Harvard University Recruiter and winners of The Amazing Race 29 and easily one of the more controversial winners of The Amazing Race. Either beloved for being competitive and cutthroat with their use of U-Turns and social strategies and huge fandom of the Race or derised for Brooke's unique way of psyching herself up for challenges, it is tough to find anyone who watched the season without an opinion on them. Throughout the Race, they both faced challenges - in particular, Brooke's physical ladle-making Roadblock in Leg 4 earned a lot of commentary, while Scott had to face his fear of heights in Legs 2, 5, and 9. Despite this, they worked together incredibly well in the last few legs. In the season finale, Brooke and Scott were the 1st team to arrive at Chicagoland Speedway. Despite having issues repairing the racecar wheel and completing a lap in a certain amount of time, Brooke and Scott were able to complete the task first and never gave up the lead once in the final leg thus securing an easy victory for them.

Throughout the Race, Brooke constantly whined, complained, and yelled during various challenges such as making a ladle in Leg 4 or climbing a short cliff in Leg 6 while Scott had to face his fear of heights in Legs 2, 5, and 9. Despite this, they seemed to be getting their act together in the last few legs. They still argued and Brooke still whined, just not as much. In the season finale, Brooke and Scott were the 1st team to arrive at Chicagoland Speedway. This season, like many in the past few years had a theme. This time it was all strangers teaming up. Naturally, there was backlash from the fanbase after the use of strangers teaming up [[Characters/TheAmazingRace11 in]] [[Characters/TheAmazingRace24 the]] [[Characters/TheAmazingRace26 past]] hasn't turned out well. The first 2 legs were rather unnerving with some ugly fighting between the teams and 2 well-liked teams being eliminated. After leg 2, the season brought some respectable attributes to the table with wide diversity in team dynamics, high competitive factor between other teams (while removing the ugliness of the first 2 episodes), twists to the status quo (like 3 U-Turns before the Detour), and an elimination where the teams who were eliminated were either unpopular or surprise eliminations. The last few episodes began faltering with 2 eliminations of fan-favorite teams that left a bland final 3, an unpopular winner, and one of the most poorly received finales in race history. Regardless, it's still upheld as an above average season, and many fans hope that the strangers twist will be used again in the future.
