The main members of the Sky People are Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, Murphy, Monty, Jasper, and formerly Wells and Finn from the 100, later joined by Raven in season 1. Abby, Jaha, and Kane were the main members of the Ark before arriving on Earth, Abby and Kane at the end of season 1 and Jaha in the beginning of season 2. Clarke and Bellamy serve as the leaders of the 100 and Abby and Kane as the leaders of the Sky People as a whole though arguably Clarke is the main leader of the Sky People in season 2 and 3 onward.

* CharacterDevelopment: In season one, he has a clear disdain of Grounders and antagonizes a chained and vulnerable Lincoln. By season three, he's Pro-Grounder, helping Lincoln and his people and working with Kane and Octavia to keep the Grounders safe.

** In season 2, Harper and Monty become close friends in Mount Weather and are one of the few to survive the bone marrow experiments. He takes care of her after the first round and she is one of the first people he hugs after the irradiation. In "Red Sky At Morning" she sleeps with him and they become an OfficialCouple at the end of the season.
** In season 1 she had this with Jasper as she attempted to flirt with him when he became popular for shooting at the Grounders though he showed no interest in her as he had a crush on Octavia at the time. But just like with Monty they become closer friends in Mount Weather and he ends up showing interest in Maya.

** Got better with a gun in season 1 and even shoots some guards in Mount weather in season 2.

* TookALevelInCynic: In season 4. This is because when the deadly Black Rain came, she saw someone fall down, but she ran instead of helping him. This act haunts her greatly, and she goes along with Jasper's GoOutWithASmile plans rather than try and survive. Ultimately, [[spoiler:Monty manages to talk her out of it at the last minute.]]

* ThoseTwoGuys: With Sterling in season two, until Sterling dies.

* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Was closer to this trope in season one, when she could often be seen standing in the background with her arms crossed and looking irritated, but less so in later episodes.

* KilledOffscreen: Her mutilated body is unceremoniously dumped down a chute into a cart in the reaper tunnels in the season 2 finale, discovered by Octavia after being harvested by the Mountain Men. Her death is spoiled in a clip before the episode even airs.
* MauveShirt: Has a name and more lines than most background delinquents, but was never able to rise beyond minor character status, unlike characters such as Harper and Miller, due to her death in the finale of season 2.

* ThoseTwoGuys: With Monroe in season two, until his death.

* OutOfFocus: He appeared only when it had to do with getting his son out of Mount Weather and he tends to disappear for a few episodes especially in season 3 where his only speaking part is to give Kane a message about Indra and he's not seen again for the rest of the season.

A survivor from the Ark. She is in a romantic relationship with Bellamy following the time jump between seasons 2 and 3.

* RememberTheNewGuy: Bellamy apparently knew her on the Ark. She was never mentioned before her relationship with Bellamy, though the reason for this could be that she barely arrived when the Ark crashed on Earth and that the survivors where spread out in different locations so she probably wasn't around during the events of season 2 or she was just in the background and Bellamy was also in Mount Weather most of season 2 so he probably didn't run into her until after.

* SecondLove: He's heavily implied to have it bad for Raven, as shown when he specifically asks her to work with him on a radio beacon. He even designed a brace for her leg. They slowly grow closer in the latter half of season 2.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: He is not shown in season 3 and is only mentioned to have broken up with Raven before the start of the season. This is because of his actor getting fired but it is unknown whether or not he lives or dies during the events of the season.

** Kane stops Octavia from killing him in season 3. He points out that the Grounders have to be the ones to kill Pike with their brand of justice so that the Sky People can renew peace with them.

* {{Foil}}: To Kane because his attitude towards grounders counters Kane's desire to make peace with them. His devotion to his plan mirrors Kane wanting to kill 300 people on the Ark to save air and life support in season 1.

* HeelFaceDoorSlam: Despite signs of a redemption arc in late season 3, [[spoiler:Octavia abruptly kills him in the finale as revenge.]]
* IDidWhatIHadToDo: He sees the [[spoiler:massacre of the Tree People Grounder army sent to protect Arkadia]] as attacking them before they could attack Arkadia and he wanted to strike first to show strength against the Grounders. He also decides to [[spoiler:attack a village]] afterwards because he wanted to farm the land for food as most of Arkadia's food supply was lost in the Mount Weather attack. It is shown that he still has this belief in the season 3 finale.

* MadeOfIron: In the last episodes of season 3 he is able to fight and do other things despite heavy wounds and injuries.

* RememberTheNewGuy: He was apparently important on the Ark but he was not mentioned by name or introduced until season 3.

* BigBad: Serves as this for the season 1 Ark story line as she is the one who orchestrated Jaha's assassination attempt, attacked the Unity Day celebration, and stole one of the dropships which resulted in The Ark loosing power and air thus forcing the Sky People to come to the ground.

* BadassGay: He is one of the more capable members of the 100, and during the Grounders assault on the dropship he kept fighting even after taking a spear to his right shoulder. He even takes down Anya in one hit.

* BadassGay: Along with the other Farm Station survivors he was able to hold off the Ice Nation. Some what a subversion because the Ice Nation conflict took place off-screen and though it is shown that he knows how to use a gun he spends most of season 3 being on the side line and Miller is mostly shown protecting him when he gets injured later on so he hasn't gotten a truly badass moment on-screen yet.
