* EasilyForgiven: [[KarmaHoudini She suffers far less consequences for her crimes than Varian did]]. After all the terrible things Cassandra does throughout Season 3, including attempting to kill Rapunzel several times, eagerly enslaving people, and committing terrorism against Corona while taking over the kingdom, the finale has Rapunzel readily forgiving her without holding a grudge, even telling her she loves her after Cassandra's HeelFaceTurn. Took A Level In Badass involves someone originally not being a threat fighting-wise plus I removed some unneeded spaces and fixed Chained Sinkholes. We additionally aren't supposed to pothole in trope names. It was also unneeded since the redirect That Woman Is Dead works. However, that trope involves disregarding an old identity for a new one.

* InferioritySuperiorityComplex: What ultimately drives Cassandra to villainy. She believes that despite her best efforts, she's always failed and been looked down on. A thought process that Zhan Tiri manipulates to convince Cassandra to take the Moonstone to forge her own destiny. Rapunzel's resolve to never give up on her just makes her feel worse.
** Cassandra is ''desperate'' to earn even a sliver, a splinter, a bit of what she really craves. When the moonstone breaks and the mirror on Mother Gothel's lair is found, [[RuleofSymbolism we see a sliver that has the same form]] in both of them. ** Cassandra gets even worse in Season 3, partly because of [[ManipulativeBastard Zhan Tiri's]] [[ToxicFriendInfluence lies]] and the Moonstone's [[DrunkOnTheDarkSide negative influence]], but mostly because of her own personality. For the bulk of Season 3, Cassandra shows herself to be a resentful, power-hungry hypocrite who would endanger Corona and the entire world for her own self-gain, try to murder people she used to consider her friends only a few months ago, strip people of their free will so she could use them as her slaves without a second thought, and generally have little to no regard for anyone other than herself - [[MoralMyopia all while lamenting the times other people have slighted her]].

After she fully masters its power, she's capable of [[PersonOfMassConstruction building her own tower]] and [[PersonOfMassDestruction covering Corona with black rocks]], taking over the kingdom, and it seems like she's become more liberated and independent. At the same time, she's Zhan Tiri's [[UnwittingPawn favorite pawn]], being SuperGullible and a HorribleJudgeOfCharacter when it comes to her. She's also driven away those who cared about her, at the cost of achieving her "destiny", and has lost her sense of identity.

* DarthVaderClone: Like Anakin, she started out as a HotBlooded but noble hero, but who got disfigured, in her right arm no less, then post-FaceHeelTurn gains an armored dark look minus a mask. Of course, Cassandra's circumstances parallel Kylo Ren more: Cassandra's fall to the Dark Side happens in part due to her insecurities and perceived abandonment by her biological parent, not to mention that her true parentage to the previous villain was kept from her. She also has complicated feelings towards Rapunzel, but ultimately arrives at the conclusion that LoveIsAWeakness and becomes obsessed with destroying every remnant of her past with her loved ones. As it turns out, her fall from grace were part of the machinations of a SatanicArchetype-evil from the past who later steals both hers and the hero's power to augment herself. Sure enough, Cassandra redeems herself and dies defeating the BigBad, but in a reversal of Kylo Ren's and Rey's positions, she's the one who dies ''first'' and then gets revived by the hero, only without the reviver dying in the process.

Cassandra interprets the most well-meant advice, e.g. Rapunzel asking her to wait and Varian indirectly calling her a villain, as them talking down to her. Instead of listening, she just clings tighter to her new source of validation, the Moonstone, in the hopes that it will solve her problems.

* {{Hypocrite}}: By Season 3, Cassandra has fully convinced herself that ''everyone'' she's ever known has only used her and discarded her for their own ends, and hates them all for it. That being said, in "Race To The Spire", it's revealed that Cassandra's endgame plan for the season involves turning every member of the Brotherhood into her mind-controlled slaves, stripping of them of their free will so they can become foot-soldiers in her own army, using them for her own ends.

** She's quick to call Eugene [[ItsAllAboutMe self-centered]], but Cassandra herself can be very selfish; she almost jeopardized Eugene and Rapunzel's relationship due to not wanting to face consequences for sneaking Rapunzel out of the castle in the pilot for the series, tries to sabotage Rapunzel in "Challenge of the Brave" due to being upstaged, and then there's the second season's finale, where she takes the Moonstone for herself. In the season 3 premiere, she makes it very clear that she's going to use its power to achieve the greatness she believes she deserves.

* {{Irony}}: During her VillainSong, "Crossing The Line", Cassandra thinks she's setting herself free and embracing a chance to reach her full potential by running off with the Moonstone and cutting loose the princess who's always been holding her back with false promises (hence the song's liberating tone). When, in reality, Cassandra is just trading in one set of chains for another one, since the Moonstone is not a good substitute for human company and her new acquaintance Zhan Tiri is just using her.

She may have SAID that, but she still tried to kill Calliope even after Rapunzel handed over the key.

Abusive Offspring removed because Cassandra's attack on her dad is already covered under Antagonistic Offspring and Calling The Old Man Out I Lied removed due to Cassandra stating in Race To The Spire that she doesn't want to hurt Calliope "but she will" unless Rapunzel hands the key over.

* AbusiveOffspring: In "Islands Apart", she beats her adoptive father and endangers his life, also [[MisplacedRetribution accusing him of only doing what was best for himself]] in the process [[UngratefulBitch despite him having taken her in and raised her lovingly]].

Unlike most other examples though, Cassandra occasionally shows remorse for committing this betrayal... only to be swerved back on course by Zhan Tiri.

** Justified in that, while Rapunzel could do nothing to help him, Cassandra could do even less, especially with a snowstorm threatening the entire kingdom. When Varian barges in to beg for help, she seems to already know how it's going to end.
