* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: In the original timeline, since nobody was able or willing to come to her aid in the AwfulWeddedLife that was her engagement to Shen Fei, she wandered off into the forest, abandoning everything, and her fate was unknown. It is later revealed that Xiao Ning'er met something in the forest that disfigured her face, and she wore a mask for the rest of her life. After the destruction of Glory City, she met Nie Li but did not reveal her true identity to him. They traveled together for a few days before she died protecting him. Nie Li himself remained unaware of this fact until after his reincarnation.

This all came to an end when she demonstrated not only being a once in thousand years talent, but can and will fight back against the Sacred Family's abuses.
