An enforcer for the Hutts during the High Republic era. After destroying a children's medcenter, she was captured by Jedi Master Porter Engle and imprisoned aboard the Republic prison ship ''Restitution''.
----
* AssholeVictim: Given her attempts to blackmail Lourna and the crimes that got her imprisoned in the first place, no tears are shed when Pan Eyta kills her.
* DirtyCoward: When Pay Eyta attacks the ''Restitution'' seeking revenge against Lourna, Ola happily tries to sell Lourna out.
* EvilDebtCollector: This was her primary job working for the Hutts. When the Sisters of the Ninth Plane couldn't pay protection money, she had them killed by burning their children's hospital [[WeaponizedExhaust with her ship's engines]].
* HateSink: As Lourna is a VillainProtagonist in ''Tempest Runner'', Ola serves as an even more despicable antagonist to have a character that readers can root for Lourna against.
* MightAsWellNotBeInPrisonAtAll: Despite her incarceration, she's still managed to make a gang from the inmates aboard the ''Restitution'', and maintained contacts outside the ship to control a network of assassins.

Skarabda the Hutt's former head-of-security during the High Republic era.

* DreadfulMusician: According to her, among the things she isn't good at, she's a mediocre singer.
* FireForgedFriendship: When she and Farzala first meet, she is antagonistic towards him. Even after the Hutt Clan's alliance with the Jedi Order fractures following the Battle of Mulita, she remains their ally.
* InspectorJavert: A rare variation where the inspector is part of a crime organization. She initially suspects the Jedi of trying to use the alliance negotiations to take Skarabda down when the ''Vessel'' is hijacked by Jabba's men to ruin the negotiations. It isn't until Farzala save Ishnar from being eaten by a Drengir that she starts to trust the Jedi.
* TokenGoodTeammate: While she initially worked with the Jedi under the pretense of an EnemyMine against the Drengir, she remains the only known vassal of the Hutts to remain in the Jedi's good graces after the Drengir crisis and the end of the Jedi-Hutt alliance.
* UncertainDoom: She was aboard Starlight Beacon when it fell, and her fate is currently unknown.

Jabba's death has a profoundly negative impact on Tatooine's economy, turning its bustling settlements into ghost towns and inadvertently paving the way for Tusken Raiders to gain more turf with the fearsome Hutt dead and many criminal networks subsquently leaving the planet. Under Bib Fortuna's incompetent leadership, things were all but stated to have gotten worse with his selfishness. Looks like Bib Fortuna's Legends characterization has been re-canonized in FACPOV.

* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Big time. In ''Legends,'' Bib Fortuna was a huge narcissist and TheStarscream to Jabba, despising the Hutt with every fiber of his being and often trying to have him (unsuccessfully) killed so he can take his place. However, while he makes no attempts to overthrow Jabba here, he ''does'' waste no time in seizing control of some of his assets and influence after his death.

* SchrodingersCanon: According to ''Legends'', they are both bodyguards for Jabba who work in the band to stay incognito. He even gives him a 5% break on the vig for the delay when they meet in the restored ''Film/ANewHope'' scene. As he notes, he kinda ''had'' to put a hit on Han at some point: he's running a business and can't afford to look like he'll tolerate people not paying him.

However, promotional blurbs for the Disney comic ''Return of the Jedi- Max Rebo 1'' state that he and at least some of his bandmates are among the palace denizens plotting to bring about Jabba's downfall.

I discussed the deleted Action Girl edits on Ask the Tropers (to make sure this planned edit wouldn't be an edit war) and another troper noted that Schrodingers Canon fits for Legends moments not specifically contradicted by the Disney canon yet. Since the new canon has shown that the Max Rebo Band (or at least Max) survived the sail barge explosion but hasn't gone into more detail, I am adding the Action Girl moments back as Schrodingers Canon.

to:

* AssholeVictim: Though his execution is brutal, he isn't a terribly sympathetic character, being a cowardly crime boss.

Removing things explicitly about the Legends continuity. This is about the newer canon.

* FetishesAreWeird: Jabba is the brutal kingpin of a vast criminal empire, and [[BeautyEqualsGoodness a gross slug-alien]] to boot. He's also a big fan of GoGoEnslavement, keeping at least one scantily clad ''humanoid'' woman in his retinue at all times. His debut in ''Film/ReturnOfTheJedi'' just plays this as an homage to the MarsNeedsWomen trope (and an excuse for {{Fanservice}}). But the ''Franchise/StarWarsLegends'' expanded universe considered the implications: the rest of the Hutts don't share Jabba's eye for other species, and regard Jabba as a weird pervert for his apparent xenophilia. This is especially notable when you consider that interspecies relationships aren't uncommon in the Star Wars universe, so either the Hutts have ''serious'' hang-ups about this, or Jabba takes it to the point where there's no romance involved and it's just a sick obsession with the humanoid female body.
** Adding to this, Hutts are self-fertilizing hermaphrodites, meaning that most don't ''have'' sexual desires in the traditional sense. So in other words, sex ''as a whole'' can be considered a form of fetishism for Hutts. For good measure, some ''Legends'' texts, such as ''Literature/TalesFromJabbasPalace'', indicate that he might literally be engaging in some form of sexual activity with his slave girls: Porcellus notes Jabba's "indescribable sexual practices" and later observes the scene in which Oola is dragged over to Jabba's dais mid-dance, implicitly describing it as an attempted rape.
