The Saphronian Hetmanate, one of the provinces of the [[TheEmpire Empire of Man]], is situated there, as are the lands of the elusive [[OurElvesAreBetter Néva]]. Through the great mountain ranges of the west lie the Arakai Mountains, home of the [[BigCreepyCrawlies Arakai]], while at the central peaks lies Castle Nightshade, the homeland of all [[OurVampiresAreDifferent pureblood vampires]]. At the northeast, the [[TheUndead Endless Host]] have settled in the region known as the Serenity Woods, while hidden away from civilized eyes, the [[ReligionOfEvil Cult of the Eclipse]] makes its base at a great crystalline cave complex.

Master Apostle of the Cult of the Eclipse and mortal champion of Vargash, Tibias Merrow is an undead skeleton of weird mannerisms but an absolutely psychotic mindset. Wishing nothing more than the complete domination of Koldenwelt, he has menaced the land for hundreds of years. Naturally a monstrous being, his nature as an undead - who are naturally incompatible with Vargash's magic - forces him to assume a 'normal' form when out of combat.
