* SlaveToPR: Keeps a very glorious and dignified image of the Native Dragon Ventuswill and gets flustered (and pretty annoyed) when Lest/Frey accidentally burst in calling her by her AffectionateNickname. Eventually they make people approach her in a more casual manner and while Venti is slightly uncomfortable, mostly for reasons of her own instead of arrogance, she accepts it. People still hold her in the highest regard, but they end up viewing Venti as more approachable, friendly high authority figure than "just" a god.

* HotBlooded: Ho boy, especially when it comes to his rivalry with Dylas!

Later Ethelberd threatens to destroy Kardia with his army of tanks and is only foiled by Raguna and Terrable. Many years later he's been working on schemes to get his revenge on Earthmates which caused the deaths of everyone in Doug's village. And finally, after successfully hijacking the body of Ventuswill and thinking he's won he planned to destroy Selphia just to spite Lest/Frey.]]

* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Not so much in the first game, but in ''Rune Factory 4'' he peronally supervises the operations in Sechs and becomes much more involved the moment he faces another Earthmate. [[spoiler:And he will actually confront the protagonists directly and battle them]].

* GoodOldFisticuffs: His WeaponOfChoice are Gloves.

* TheGadfly: It's implied he act the way he does towards Lest/Frey, the flirting and the ludicrous food questions, just to get a reaction out of them.

* VillainousBreakdown: It's revealed that he lost it after Raguna foiled his plans in ''VideoGame/RuneFactory'' were foiled. He relived his defeat time and time again in his dreams until it finally drove him crazy. [[spoiler:And he breaks down ''again'' after Lest/Frey defeats him, demanding -- rather, forcefully ''begging'' -- that he/she recognize him as a god while his body is breaking down due to PhlebotinumOverload.]]
