* SignatureMon: It shares this trope Marill, but Scyther is less prominent than Marill. Scyther, however, takes the role of Tracey's signature powerhouse and is usually given more characterization than Tracey's other Pokémon.

The only way to tell them apart is by the color of the cross on their hats, which will range through every color except Red, due to the Red Cross being an internationally protected symbol. Brock can tell them apart without that fact, and in fact can tell when someone is only pretending to be Joy (he doesn't go crazy over them).
