This does leads to Oozma Kappa learning to become resourceful about their own seemingly benign traits to become Scarers. Lampshaded by Sulley in a deleted scene:

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Just when he and his fraternity seem to have misjudged Oozma Kappa, it turned out they were just pretending to catch them by surprise for a cruel prank.

* BrainlessBeauty: As attractive as they look for monsters, they do not seem terribly smart in the "Don’t Scare the Teen" challenge judging by how they all scare humans who are clearly teenagers.
