An incredibly powerful and highly respected superhero, he is Kaz's Idol.

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: In "Lair, Lair" Skylar does this to him, so she can frame him as the Annihilator's henchman. Is freed in "Storms End".
* TheCape: Is this type of hero.
* DishingOutDirt: Is linked to the earth's core and cause earthquakes by stomping his feet.
* FlyingBrick: He can fly and is nearly invulnerable to harm.
* HealingFactor: "Tecton always heals" is the InUniverse tagline for this power, to the point that one of Oliver and Kaz's tougher surgeries is figuring out why he has a WoundThatWillNotHeal.
* HeroicBuild: His brawniness fits well with his heroic costume.

* SmugSuper: Occasionally falls into this, particularly in "Fantasy League of {{Super Hero}}es" where he becomes a bit to obsessed to prove that he is he greatest superhero. Comes to his senses at the end however

* TheWorfEffect: Despite being one of the greatest superheroes in universe, even he couldn't beat Evil Skylar Storm. He put up a decent fight, but it came to show just how dangerous Evil Skylar was.

* KillerYoYo: His WeaponOfChoice, give to him by his girlfriend, it saved his life during World War Two, when it deflected a Radioactive bullet. It is like him Atomically Powered, and proves to be quite a Swiss Army knife of weapons. As he can use it as a shield, a whip, a Lasso or to cause atomic blasts.

* MartialArtsStaff: His WeaponOfChoice.

* WeaponOfChoice: A large mace that he always carries.

* ILoveNuclearPower: Is atomically powered, he uses Atomic batteries to keep himself alive and use his powers.
