Guess these missed Scraggle's effort post. Oh well.

* AffablyEvil: More so "affable" before TheReveal. ''Always'' evil. Notable in that he remains genuinely affable towards Ashe even after he reveals himself to be the BigBad, while in Grey's story he belittles and constantly looks down on him instead.

* FauxAffablyEvil: Towards Grey after his reveal as the BigBad. While speaking with a polite demeanor towards him during these times, he also takes the time to constantly belittle and taunt him as well.

* FauxAffablyEvil: Towards Grey Made all the more obvious after his reveal as the BigBad. While speaking with a polite demeanor towards him both Ashe and Grey during these times, he also takes the time to constantly belittle and taunt him as well.the latter.

* PetTheDog: An ''extremely'', '''extremely''' small one when he expresses sympathy and regret over having to do in Ashe as she's his last living descendant. He has no such love for Grey, though, seeing him as a backup plan that has [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness lost its use now that Ouroboros is complete]].

** Within the ''ZX Advent'' manga, [[spoiler:where Alie is shown to be using it, she doesn't appear to be fully in control over the form, which seems to suggest that this trope is the case when using this power.]]

Added DiffLines:

* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Ashe will snark the entire time, but her general care for others and their well-being will cause her to cross an entire burning oil field to save the lives of people who previously tried to gun her down. This can also be invoked by having Ashe track down the hunters she was with at the start of the game who got separated by Prometheus' attack; nothing ''forces'' her to go on this quest, and she gets nothing for it directly, but it's still an option for her to pursue. This is one of the primary tropes that help establish Ashe as a hero and not ''just'' a selfish thrill-seeker.

Added DiffLines:

* NiceGirl: The main thing separating her from the selfish ambitions of [[spoiler:her ancestor]] is that she has no desire for the sort of power the villain is after. Though both are ambitious, Ashe notably refuses to put innocents in danger to get ahead and abhors the idea of forcing others to live life according to her whims. In point of fact, her primary means of putting herself out there as a LegacySeeker is ''being'' a hero who protects the weak and makes a name for themselves opposing philosphical mad men like [[spoiler:Master Albert.]]
Is there an issue? Send a MessageReason:
None

Added DiffLines:

* FromZeroToHero: Ashe's motivation. She's not ''quite'' at 'zero' given she's an accomplished Hunter, but she has yet to hit her big, world-changing score on the job, and needs to make it so her name will be known. This quality, her thrill-junkie antics, and an earnest desire to help people is what gets her an in with the Sage Trinity, the people in charge of the world, and allows Ashe to start putting her name out there.

Added DiffLines:

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Ashe gets fed up of waiting to get to the front of the fleet of Raider ships where the Hunters know the cargo they're after is, tunes out the other Hunters transmitting to her from inside their own ship, quickly assesses where her ship is in regards to the raider ships, and then ''leaps down several hundred feet with a cocky smile on her face'' before ''actually sticking the landing on the Raider convoy,'' [[BadassNormal no harm, no foul.]] From there, she gets in an argument with Prometheus and walks away from the incident alive. The entire section shows how Ashe moves to the beat of her own drum and quickly establishes that she has a ton of potential already.

Added DiffLines:

* BerserkButton: Ashe has a very devil-may-care attitude and tends to just roll with the punches - until people start trying to dictate her life, challenge her independence, and marginalize her. Ashe's final battle with Albert is effectively two orators shouting down the other person's ideal and viewpoints as the barbs get increasingly personal, not helped by the fact Ashe is fighting the man who took everything from her merely as an experiment to set up the Game of Destiny.

Added DiffLines:

* ExperiencedProtagonist: Even before getting Model A, Ashe was a Hunter of no small ability or pluck. In cutscenes, though her dialogue ''mostly'' elicits the same responses from Model A and others as her counterpart's, she tends to be a bit more on the ball with the state of the world and what's going on.

Added DiffLines:

* JumpedAtTheCall: Something that separates Ashe from a majority of her predecessors and successors that hold the title of 'Mega Man' throughout the franchise is that she actively ''wants'' the life Model A gives her. Even before Model A entered into Ashe's life, she lived a life of thrills and adventure, working with glorified scavenger-mercenaries due to the Hunter occupation's chance to get good hauls and, of great importance to Ashe, put their names out there as famous heroes and legends. This trait is a core aspect she shares with her inspiration, [[VideoGame/MegaManX Axl.]]

Added DiffLines:

* {{Transhuman}}: Most humans in the setting by the time of the ''ZX'' series are this to some degree, as they are given bodies that make them equal in every way physically to machines so long as they train themselves, but Ashe stands as the poster girl for what these bodies are capable of in the setting with her opening free-dive stunt. Additionally, she goes further and really pushes the boundaries of what 'human' even is by incorporating a mechanical evolution in her body with both Model A and its A-Trans ability, given she can ''become'' Buckfire and other Psuedoroids (which are explicitly data-copies of full machines) and still switch back to her human form by disengaging from Model A. Her counterpart, being a reploid, and her predecessors, lacking A-Trans, can't compare.

Added DiffLines:

* YoungerThanTheyLook: Ashe is fifteen, but her confident, cocky attitude, her character art, and ''especially'' her in-game sprite make her look and seem more like she's in her early twenties.

* ShockAndAwe: He can charge his vine whips and thorns with electricity that not only increase their damage, but can increase his attack range by electrifying the vine he touches with the former and creating a field between where the three charged thorns land. His EX Skill is him unleashing an electricity-based WaveMotionTuningFork, and once its finished any vines that were in its path will receive an electrical discharge and shock Grey/Ashe if they were touching the vine rather safely between them.

The reality is he already seems to have [[BrainwashedAndCrazy brainwashed]] all the other Mega Men besides Vent/Aile, manipulated the entire conflict to get him [[WeaponOfMassDestruction Ouroboros]], abandoned his duties with a co-conspirator in their plans to RestartTheWorld so he could do it his way, and ultimately did virtually everything he possibly could to stack the deck in his favor so he'd be the ultimate Mega Man and champion of the game. All of this while being one of the Sage Trinity of Legion, where he can literally vote and veto world-spanning decisions into motion from the single highest position of power above all besides his two fellows. Added DiffLines:

* SoProudOfYou: In a backhanded sort of matter. While he is dismissive of the "defective" Grey even in his death, his last words to Ashe actually has him praising his own research and work in managing to create a piece of lineage in the long-term that managed to surpass even himself. Still gives an abbreviated version of his SoreLoser words below, though.
* SoreLoser: After manipulating the world for centuries, stacking the Game of Destiny so lopsidedly in his favor that there's no way he'd fail normally, and finally achieving Ouroboros' creation through countless Model W fragments coming together, his defeat at the hands of Ashe/Grey and Model A has him make one of the most openly spiteful and vindictive statements in the franchise towards the peace the heroes had intended to achieve.
