The final member of the Kazama Family and likely the least prominent, Moro is one of the few rational thinkers of the group. He is neither particularly popular nor unpopular which at least saves him from being the butt of gags like Gakuto. He was friends with Gakuto before joining the Kazama family and joined together with him.

She joined the Kazama family when the group realized they needed a stronger fight in order to deal with a gang they were in conflict with.

** In the manga, all of her sats are incredibly high, with most of them being 95 or 100 out of 100, her lowest being intelligence, which is still an incredibly good 70.

* CrippllingOverspecialization: He constantly works out his muscles which has made him ''incredibly'' strong and sturdy, but does no other training besides this. Being really strong doesn't help much if you can't fight.

** In the manga, he gets a 95 in strength and average to below average in everything else.

* TheAce: Handsome, overflowing with charisma, kind, good at fighting (while still weaker compared to most female characters), great instinct, etc.
* AffectionateParody: Kazama is essentially a completely straight shonen hero relegated to the role of supporting character ina romantic comedy. The results are one of the most hilarious characters in the game.
* AllLovingHero: While he lacks Yamato's brains and Moyomo's fighting ability, his good-natured and inspirational attitude towards others as well as his strong sense of justice is what puts him in the leadership position.

* DumbMuscle: He's not the sharpest guy around.

* ThrowTheDogABone: While he never really gets acknowledged for it by others, the story occasionally does show that while he's no match for any named martial artists in the story he's actually very strong.

* TheHeart: Tends to be the sole stabilizing factor in the Kazama family. It should also be noticed that he's the only member of the team who doesn't have a rival, simply because he doesn't seek out. conflict like the others do.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's self centered, domineering and has a tendency to forget everything when she has a chance for a potentially fun fight. When she wins, if she didn't have fun she's dismissive and rude towards the loser. However, she does have her own sense of honor and really does her best to be there for her friends in her own way.

It isn't made clear whether her behaviour is result of her [[ExtremeDoormat meekness]], because she [[CovertPervert enjoys it]], or because [[IfItsYouItsOkay its Yamato doing it]]. Given her overall characterization its most likely combination of all above.

An unofficial member of sorts, Cookie is an egg shaped household robot that takes care of several domestic tasks. He has the ability to transform into a more battle worthy form and a smaller egg form that at least claims it is more intelligent. Both alternate forms appear to have different personalities. Koyuki's route in S gives us a form designed purely for fanservice, which becomes a love interest in A-2 Because Reasons.

* TheChessmaster: A refreshing change from the usual type of male lead. Rather than valuing fair play and honor he believes that it's best to cheat, manipulate and trick the opposition, earning him the nickname Tactician.

** Lampshaded by Cap. while discussing why [[ChristmasCake Umeko-sensei]] likes Yamato. He suggest that Yamato has an aura that makes him likeable by older people. As Yamato dismissess the idea, Momoyo walks in, and starts to hug and lick him. Yamato immediately starts to reconsider if he has such an aura, specifically affecting older girls.
** Momoyo’s after story finally does hint that Yamato does have his own fair share of admirers rather than just big sister types. Of course, this is also based in a scenario where he decides to go all out, charm everyone and get top grades. As the StudentCouncilPresident, he has a lot of fangirls (especially among the first years) and even girls from other schools coming after him.
* CovertPervert: Yamato's nearly as perverted as Yonpachi, but he hides it in front of girls to the extent that when he tells a single dirty joke, he actually surprises a laugh out of Chika because she didn't expect that from him. The girls even assume that the other more openly perverted guys are probably at fault for it!
* CrazyPrepared: He prepares for pretty much every contingency, which is probably best shown in events like the Kawakami war in Momoyo's route.

Given that one of the four is already in love with him and one is pretty ditzy and obsessed with games, it’s not a bad plan. ** Ending up with both Momoyo and Miyako is also a thing that can happen as a continuation of the same scenario. They even hint about bring in the other girls, Wanko aside. This doesn’t really sink in until after they’ve finished already.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: Yamato’s [[spoiler:chuunibyou speech to Yoichi]] was recorded and played back on a massive level at the end of Koyuki route.

** While an expert tactician, he is an extremely poor fighter compared to the rest of his peers at Kawakami High School.
** That is until we get to Azumi's route in A-1. As a butler in the Kuki corporation, he eventually trains in Azumi's village as a ninja while undergoing personal training with Hume and Claudio. Combined with his natural tactical prowess and previous experience in dealing with Momoyo, he becomes badass enough to rescue Hideo from kidnappers and is able to single-handedly take on a terrorist group with their own expert martial artist.
* NotIfTheyEnjoyedItRationalization
** Angel is not exactly enthusiastic about Round Two while Yamato simply treats her protests as being a tsundere and eventually asks if she wants to stop. She doesn’t. [[spoiler:Given that she’s kidnapped him before and just tried to kill him, sympathy is probably limited.]]
** Pulled on Yamato himself by Miyako and Momoyo in the other Agave after scenario with them asking him the exact same thing.
** Unable to think of another way to convince Chris [[spoiler:not to go back to Germany and break up with him]] he enters her bedroom at night and simply has sex with her until she admits she doesn't want to go and agrees to stay.
* ObfuscatingStupidity: In the Agave route he pretends to believe that [[spoiler:Usami Kyojin is the BigBad, and he plays along.]] After a short performance, he then [[spoiler:follows Touma, the real BigBad.]]
* ObliviousToLove: Consistently averted. He's not interested in Miyako (though he burns no bridges there) and keeps shooing her away because of that, not because he's stupid. With Mayucchi, he keeps a running tally in his head of how much her actions are motivated by love rather than kindness as they grow closer. With Chris, he can tell much quicker than she can that their bickering is getting much [[BelligerentSexualTension flirtier]] and quickly picks up on Chika's cues when she decides to take a shot at him rather than the popular boys she doesn't really have that much interest in. Played straight with Haou, but she gets her act together and confesses pretty quickly anyway.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: The Kazama family is friendly to outsiders, but they don’t really invite people to their group. In Agave After, when a guilty Yamato extends an invitation to [[spoiler:the gloomy and lonely Koyuki]] to join them during a gathering, even new guy Gen is shocked that Yamato would go so far.
* PaintingTheMedium: If you keep visiting the hint corner in ''S'' Kosugi will begin to comment on having some interest in Yamato and he decides that since he keeps mysteriously visiting this place despite obviously knowing everything they're going to tell him he must be interested in her as well. Her 'route' in fact builds off of this. So basically, Yamato decides he clearly must be in love because the player is doing weird stuff that makes no sense.
* PornStash: Momoyo stumbles across it at one point in her after story. He claims with a completely straight face that he was holding it for a friend. While he's almost certainly lying, this actually is the kind of thing he would do.

* RememberWhenYouBlewUpASun: Everyone definitely remembers Yamato leading class 2F to an amazing victory over the forces of 2S while outnumbered and outgunned.

She joined the Kawakami family when Kazama and Yamato noticed her hanging around them watching in the distance and invited her. She was later adopted into the Kawakami family to prevent an unqualified distant relative from taking her in.

Contrary to her meek behavior and appearance, she's actually a master swordsman. She joins the group shortly after the story begins when she finally musters the courage to ask the Kazama Family to be her friends. She later makes friends with a new transfer student, Iyo Owada.

Since Mayucchi is much more serious and focused, Tsubame's tactics likely wouldn't have worked on her.
* TheChick: She always tries to promote group harmony, though it actually starts annoying the group because she debases herself in the process, so they tell her to cut it out. Friends aren't supposed to act servile towards each other, after all.
* ConsultingMisterPuppet: She does this with her cell phone strap, Matsukaze. [[spoiler:In her route, she realizes she doesn't need Matsukaze anymore and accepts his parts of her personality back into himself.]]
* CovertPervert: As pointed out by Momoyo early on, Yukie is aware of terms like [[spoiler: deep-throating]]. She tries to dismiss it by having Matsukaze say he's the one aware of such matters and that Yukie is innocent - [[DiggingYourselfDeeper it doesn't work]].

Despite being humble, however, she knows perfectly well who is stronger or weaker than her, though the way she phrases these sentiments can be deceptive. For example, she won't fight Kosugi because there's too great a difference between the two or thinks to herself that a fight with Margit would last about two minutes. Both times she rates herself as the victor in the fight, but the situations imply she thinks the opposite.

Miyako, Chris and the guys not named Yamato all succumbed fairly quickly while Wanko drank conservatively and Yamato was careful not to get too plastered, but Mayucchi merely notes that the region she's from is famous for strong alcohol which is [[BlatantLies totally not what they're drinking right now.]]
* NiceGirl: She's very open, supportive and kind, though Matsukaze occasionally says some pretty harsh things. Presumably, these would have normally just been things she would think but not say.
* NoSocialSkills: Because she's never had any friends she doesn't know how to talk to people.
* TheOtherDarrin: Mayucchi in A-2 has a completely different voice. By amazing coincidence, Matsukaze does as well.
