** He also appears in the first episode of the ''LightNovel/FateApocrypha'' anime alongside [[Literature/FateStrangeFake Flat Escardos]] to provide exposition for the concept of the Great Holy Grail War. No matter what alternate timeline in TheVerse he appears in - whether it be ''LightNovel/FateApocrypha'' where the Fourth Grail War never happened, or ''VideoGame/MeltyBlood Type Lumina'' where Servants and Grail Wars don't even exist - Waver seemingly always becomes El-Melloi II.

* KidHeroAllGrownUp: Has grown considerably, both physically and mentally, since his time in ''LightNovel/FateZero''.

* ReusedCharacterDesign: Her family has a distant connection to Altria Pendragon, and she looks exactly like her. Waver keeps her InTheHood because her face brings him traumatic memories. ** When Waver is forced to break Camus's heart to break her out of her Shell Projection spell, he does so by telling her that he can't reciprocate her crush on him because he already dedicated his life to another, stopping just short of stating that he is in love with Iskander. On the other hand young Waver gives himself a small [[DopeSlap Dope Punch]] right after realizing Camus's infatuation just too late, with the ambiguous implicaton that he [[AmbiguouslyBi might not have been entirely incapable of reciprocating her feelings at some point]].

* DarkIsNotEvil: She dresses all in black and her weapon is a SinisterScythe, but she's unquestionably one of the good guys.
