** Act 1 can plant a written sound on something, which will repeat and increase in volume; it remains relevant despite Acts 2 and 3 due to its excellent movement range making it a useful scout.

** Act 3 has Act 2's sound powers along with the ability to generate a gravity well under anything it punches for as long as the target remains within five meters of Koichi (because of some HandWave that "three" and "freeze" sort of rhyme). Like Act 2, this ability is limited by the fact that it can only hold one thing down at a time. It's the strongest form. It is also sentient separate from Koichi, and is the first Stand to exhibit this quality[[note]]technically the second if one counts [[Characters/JojosBizarreAdventureStardustCrusaders Anubis]], but its original user is unknown[[/note]] (being followed by Cheap Trick, Surface and [[Characters/JoJosBizarreAdventureGoldenWind Spice Girl]]).

* NothingIsScarier: When she shows a person her scar, the reader never sees it. Given how much {{Gorn}} and BodyHorror is in this series, one can only wonder how badly Kira used to mutilate people before Killer Queen gave him a cleaner way of handling corpses.

* [[SirSwearsalot Sirr Swears-a-Lot]]: He's quite coarse in his language, especially when compared to the rest of the heroes. The English dub emphasizes this more - he disdainfully calls Toshikazu Hazamada a "twat-waffle" and gets as far as caling Mikitaka Hazekura a "loony mother-" before Josuke [[CurseCutShort cuts him off.]]

* ButNotTooForeign: Half-Japanese, quarter-British, quarter-Italian.

While he lost his initial status as the narrator, his various cameos post- ''Diamond Is Unbreakable'' retain Mugikari's trait of getting involved in "incidents" with the arc's crafty protagonist.

* BashBrothers: He develops a strong brother-relationship with Josuke.

* BaritoneOfStrength: He has a rather deep voice in ''All-Star Battle'' and ''Eyes of Heaven'', but it's noticeably softer in the anime.

* ApologizesALot: Part of his EstablishingCharacterMoment involves apologizing for how he's dressed to a bunch of thugs, and then he apologizes for how his presence in the Joestar family (and the affair that resulted from him existing) has caused a lot of uproar in the family.
* BadassBaritone: He has a rather deep voice in ''All-Star Battle'' and ''Eyes of Heaven'', but it's noticeably softer in the anime.

* GutturalGrowler: In the Latin American Spanish dub, when he gets angry, he's given [[HarshVocals an extremely aggressive-sounding, very gravelly and unusually low gruff voice]] with an incredibly thick Spanish accent that would make a {{deathcore}} vocalist blush. This is more prominent in his face-off against Rohan, where during his UnstoppableRage and having found the mangaka at last after trashing his entire room, as he delivers a NoHoldsBarredBeatdown on the terrified Rohan, Josuke lets out a [[MetalScream horrifically guttural scream]] that goes on for a few seconds until he finishes the beating. This one stands out because whenever he's calm (like he is usually), Josuke has a soothing BadassBaritone voice that is a stark contrast to this angry bellowing.

** Initially, he's portrayed as being reclusive, extremely rude, and possibly even mentally unstable. As time went on, those traits got toned down considerably to where he seemed more eccentric than anything else. He almost seems like a different character in the one-shots compared to how he seemed at his first appearance.

Building upon this, he is particularly drawn to Koichi as the lad exhibits several laudable traits associated with the genre.
