* AffectionateNickname: When he was known as Sal Vulcano, he gave himself the nickname "Sally Retro" for his penchant for vintage clothing. Before the renaming to Prince Herb, the other guys would still occasionally call him "Sally."

* BadassBeard: Starting mid-Season 2. From Season 2 through Season 5, the beard varied from a five o'clock shadow to full-on beard; this is because he was still on the FDNY roster during this time and would have to shave before he reported for duty. After his retirement from the FDNY, he's hardly touched a razor since.

* BadassBeard: Has one as of the second half of Season 2.

* TookALevelInBadass: He used to bow out of challenges ''a lot'' more frequently in the early seasons. He stopped doing this around the time he grew out his BadassBeard.

** Another rare subversion occurred in the "Pants Party" segment of "Catastrophe"; Tommy Dreamer pantsed Q, accidentally exposing him. Joe and Murr fell down laughing, but Prince Herb stared at the scene in mute shock, hand over his mouth. He then said that he'd feared being similarly exposed during his turn previously; fortunately for him, he only got stripped to his boxers by Bully Ray.

* {{Omniglot}}: This earns him a pass in the challenge where the guys must teach foreign language classes; he demonstrated at least a passing familiarity with Armenian and Dutch. However, what he tried to pass off as Chinese was [[AsLongAsItSoundsForeign extremely inaccurate]] and ''VERY'' cringe-worthy.

* DreadedKidsPartyEntertainerJob: In "Smushed," his punishment was to be a clown at a girl's birthday party. As part of the punishment, he had to humiliate himself and make the kids root against him in various ways, such as by breaking a small trampoline and smushing the cake with his hand. The Jokers also secretly gave one kid an egg to [[ProducePelting throw at him]] whenever he felt like it. The kid threw it at some point in the middle of Q's "performance." At the end, the kids were told to smush his face into the cake, which they did eagerly.

* MixedAncestry: Prince Herb is part Italian, part Cuban, and part Puerto Rican.

** In the episode "Not Safe For Work", Q finds Murr's nudity so funny that he laughs so hard that he vomits.

* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Murr and Herb. Murr memorably does this when he has to skydive; he screams the whole way down. Herb also does this when the other jokers scare him in a few punishments, most notably the haunted house, the haunted corn maze and the virtual reality one.

* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: In addition to being a germaphobe, Prince Herb is acrophobic, claustrophobic, and is especially terrified of cats. Of course, the other guys are all too willing to exploit these fears.

* VitriolicBestBuds: They may be best friends, but the amount of hell they're willing to throw each other's way has to be seen to be believed at times.

* CelebrityResemblance: The other guys jokingly compare his appearance to Rosie O'Donnell, even after he started growing out his facial hair. They even bring in O'Donnell as his OppositeGenderClone once.
