* AwesomeByAnalysis: Parodied, he can see small habits such as quaterback licking their finger to indicate a pass but it doesn't do him any good against Hiruma who can read his opponent better than him and love confusing the other team. An Omake even has his father smacking him after he analyzed that he will smack him.

The captain and ace of the Misaki Wolves, Kamiya is a long-legged, fast-moving player with a high opinion of himself. In the manga, his team was easily defeated by the Seibu Wild Gunmen; in the anime, he is a far more serious threat, and is only barely defeated, after giving Seibu's ace, Riku, a serious run for his money.

* CurbStompCushion: Mostly due to having the core of the Japan/German match offscreen. We see him stopping Sena once and the score is close but there was no doubt about the outcome of the game and was more of a warm up for Sena.

The Russian world record holder for the bench press and also an Olympic gold medalist for weightlifting. He started playing American Football and joined the World Youth Cup because of the 3 million dollar prize money.
