They're able to make any character one as well, or even more so if they already were. Heavy Guard provides a massive 40% damage mitigation, but forces the character to act only at the end of turn.

A giant plant monster with a beautiful flower on its back. It is the guardian of the Eastern Shrine and the very first boss your party will face.
