Blade On A Stick has been disambiguated

* BladeOnAStick: Her Paladin armor weapon is a spear. It was chosen because her combat ability isn't all that high and a spear keeps enemies at a distance and requires very little skill to use.

Hundred Percent Adoration Rating was renamed Universally Beloved Leader. If an example is removed it probably doesn't fit as written

One way or another, she is set to go down in history as one of Ponyland's greatest presidents for leading her country and helping her world along to a new age of uncommon greatness with the rest of the Alliance.

Added DiffLines:

* DamagerHealerTank: In group combat, they tend to utilize this concept: Patch is the damager due to her SuperStrength, Starlight and Melody are the tanks (though in different ways, with Starlight actually tanking it while Melody draws fire and dodges using her infinite endurance), and Sweetheart is the healer thanks to her HealingHands ability. Clover, Bright Eyes, and Bon Bon fall into the more 'general support role' version of this trope's definition of healer: Clover accesses their plan's ability to succeed or if the opponent is worn down enough to begin the next phase, Bright Eyes spots weaknesses in the opponent with her SuperReflexes, and Bon Bon can buff her teammates.
* DoesNotKnowHisOwnStrength: After their SuperEmpowering, they're still learning how to control their newly awakened Earth Pony magic, including SuperStrength. As a result, Patch ends up damaging a tree on accident just making natural movements. Applejack promises to teach them how to control it.
* HowDoIShootWeb: The Main Seven end up getting Rainbow Power forms as a result of an accidental SuperEmpowering by the Mane Six, just like what happened with the Humane Five. Just like the Humane Five, they'll need to learn how to use them, which they're making progress on. They also have some trouble controlling their newly awakened Earth Pony magic at first.
* {{Muggles}}: The world is pretty much mundane with inhabitants with no obvious magic, due to being in the world of ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyTales''. However, due to the inhabitants having Cutie Marks and mana existing, it's possible that they could develop them. That is until the Mane Six accidentally [[SuperEmpowering give the Tales main seven]] Rainbow Power forms and awaken their Earth Pony magic. It turns out the other tribes and their magic ''do'' exist, they're just hidden and have progressed to a similar level as the technology present in the Earth Ponies' civilization.
* OurElvesAreBetter: The native Flutterponies are based off Elves or Fae, though they're not high and mighty as in most portrayals.
* PsychoactivePowers: The Tales Seven's element powers tend to power up if they're strongly experiencing their Element's trait at the time, such as Patch's SuperStrength spiking dramatically or Starlight's SuperToughness becoming...well, tougher. Bonbon's is a stand out, as her power ''only'' works when she has faith in someone.
* SuperMode: The Main Seven get Rainbow Power forms of their own due to an accidental SuperEmpowering by the Mane Six, though [[HowDoIShootWeb have no idea how to actually use them at first]]. They gradually figure it out.
* TheNineties: The world is currently at the equal of this.
* ThouShaltNotKill: ''Every'' fight the Tales Seven have been in so far has had them use non-lethal tactics exclusively.
* UnskilledButStrong: The reason the Tales main seven weren't called in to help with the Flim Flam Brothers invasion despite having Rainbow Power forms and thus being just as powerful: unlike the Mane Six and Humane Six, they have no actual experience in world saving, only using their powers for entry level heroics at the moment. They get better over time.
* WakeUpGoToSchoolSaveTheWorld: The Tales Seven end up in this situation due to becoming what amounts to their universe's first superheroes while still being high school teenagers.

!Starlight
* AlternateSelf: Subverted. The visiting Mane six wonder if she is Starlight Glimmer's, but find no indication of it.
* AnAxeToGrind: Her Paladin armor's weapon is one, due to her natural durability from her power making up for the fewer defensive options.
* NoSell:
** Her unique power as Element of Diligence is SuperToughness; as a result, she just shrugs off getting hit full speed by an out of control carriage.
** Apparently she and the others stopped a bank robbery, and she did this to a punch from one of them. The guy broke his hand.
** With her armor on, she can shrug off high caliber bullets, though she still ''feels'' them even if they don't do any actual damage.
* SuperToughness: Her unique power as Element of Diligence. While saving a colt from a speeding carriage, she's hit full force and sent flying through a crate, but doesn't have a scratch on her and just shrugs it off. The group doesn't know the upper threshold of it yet, and she's hesitant to overestimate it. With her armor equipped, she can at least tank high caliber bullets, and the powered up state can tank Digger Wasp's sniper rounds.
* TheLawOfDiminishingDefensiveEffort: Actively defied: while she's ''very'' tough to the point she can simply shrug off getting hit by high caliber bullets if in her Paladin Armor and tank a sniper shot that could kill someone in it if in her powered up state, she doesn't ''want'' to chance it and only takes hits if its strategically viable to do so or if someone less tough than herself is behind her. PlayedWith in regards to her Paladin Armor: the choice of an ax for her weapon was because the fewer defensive options don't matter as much to her.
* TheReliableOne: Is diligent and reliable in everything she does. Her Element of Harmony is even Diligence.

!Sweetheart
* AlternateSelf: Turns out to be Nurse Redheart's counterpart.
* HealingHands: Her Element of Love gives her this ability.
* InterspeciesAdoption: Adopts her world's Spike, who's still a dragon, as an adopted son after he hatches and imprints on her.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Her Paladin Armor weapon comes with one as its primary armament.
* NiceGirl: As her name suggests, she's a pretty kindhearted pony.
* OfficialCouple: Is Teddy's fillyfriend.
* ThePowerOfLove: Her Element of Harmony is Love, reflecting her kind and loving nature.

!Melody
* {{BFS}}: Her Paladin Armor weapon is a greatsword, due to her power negating her being tired out by the heavy weapon while letting her hit like a truck.
* {{Determinator}}: Her Element of Harmony is Endurance, reflecting how she can be this when it's something she wants.
* GirlGroup: Her band, the Rockin' Beats.
* SaveTheVillain: Teams up with Patch to save a Neo-Hooviet soldier: Melody uses the flat of her greatsword to steer a Neo-Hooviet soldier's fall away from a deep pit, and Patch slaps the soldier down with her club to land flat on her back rather than break her neck.
* VictoryByEndurance: Her Element of Endurance's ability is infinite stamina. No matter what, she will never tire no matter what happens. Exploited when the group fights Ahuizotl's Caballeron, as she uses it to wear him out enough for Patch to get the upper-hand on him.

!Bright Eyes
* {{Fainting}}: Faints upon seeing Rainbow Dash fly and knowing she's real.
* ForGreatJustice: Her Element of Harmony is Justice, reflecting her desire to see everyone be treated just and fairly.
* HeroicBSOD: Goes into a minor one due to the existence of magic giving her worldview a pretty big jolt. Twilight helps her through it, and she becomes rather excited about witnessing FirstContact with what amounts to extradimensional aliens.
* ParryingBullets: Figures out how to do this with her SuperReflexes, though it takes multiple tries to actually manage it and she can't do so consistently, with her armor protecting her enough to figure it out. Justified, as she's less seeing the bullet in midair and deflecting it as seeing the shooter pulling the trigger and having the reaction time to intercept it while it's still firing. Patch is impressed. Twilight gives her suit an upgrade to include two bracers on her forelegs for this expressed purpose, which due to being larger make it easier to do it than trying to hit them with her thin rapier blade.
* RoyalRapier: Her Paladin Armor weapon is one, to go with her Element Power's ability to pick out precise weaknesses. Notably the only one of the seven who's weapon requires significant skill to use, as her power makes up for her relative inexperience.
* SherlockScan: Her Element of Justice power can let her do this, giving her the ability to briefly speed up her brain's processing ability to the point time seems to slow down and allowing her to quickly analyze things around her. Her powered up state slows it down even more.
* TheSmartGirl: Is very intelligent, to the point she and Twilight can have in depth conversations on things the other ponies can't understand.
* SuperReflexes: Her Element of Justice allows her to briefly speed up her brain's processing ability to take in everything around her much quicker than normal, giving the illusion of everything briefly moving far slower than normal.
* TheSpock: Is noted as being quite logically minded, which is why she's shaken up by suddenly being faced with real magic.

!Patch
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Admits during the Winter Wedding Arc that she finally got the adventure she wanted against a genuine, high tier supervillain...and her childhood friend and her family are the targets.
* CarryABigStick: Her Paladin armor weapon is a mace. According to Twilight, this was because her super strength benefits more from an impact weapon she can move with more force and speed than a heavy weapon her strength would allow her to lift but not really provide extra benefit. It's also a simple weapon to use, meaning her [[UnskilledButStrong lack of combat experience]] is less of a problem.
* ComesGreatResponsibility: After spending most of her time following her SuperEmpowering enjoying the thrill of being a superhero, seeing Rosie and her family being targeted by a supervillain makes her realize this and [[LetsGetDangerous get serious.]]
* GoldenSuperMode: Her Rainbow Power form has gold as the hair stripe and aura color, though isn't any different than her fellows.
* LeeroyJenkins: Rushes into fighting Emperor Ahuizotl's Caballeron (in her defense, he was also about to set off a DoomsdayDevice if she hadn't) and this ends with her getting her flank kicked and needing the others to come to her aid. [[WhatTheHellHero She is called out on this]]. She gets over it during the Winter Wedding Arc.
* LetsGetDangerous: After realizing she might have been into being a superhero for the wrong reasons when Chrysalis's EvilPlan puts Rosie and her family in danger, she goes into this mode to stop her plan and actually comes up with a rather brilliant one. As in the original series, if Patch is invested in something, she can be surprisingly competent.
* JumpedAtTheCall: Enthusiastically jumps headfirst into the whole 'FirstContact with extradimensional aliens' thing. She's also the most excited about the SuperEmpowering the group got, and apparently been using it to more or less be a superhero since then. She's also disappointed they weren't called in to help fight the Flim Flam Brothers invasion.
* PluckyGirl: Fits, being energetic, optimistic, and brave. Her Element of Harmony even reflects this, being Courage.
* SaveTheVillain: Sees a Neo-Hooviet soldier falling towards a pit, and teams up with Melody to save her: Melody uses the flat of her greatsword to steer the soldier's fall away from a deep pit, and Patch slaps them down with her club to land flat on her back, rather than break her neck as she would have if they'd let her fall.
* SuperStrength: Her power as Element of Courage is this, by ''Earth Pony'' standards. She can lift four large fallen trees and carry them with very little effort. Her strength increases when she's fighting with genuine bravery as well, enough to beat down a thick, solid steel door and send it flying several feet. Eventually she's shown to be able to overpower a forklift and flip it over if she can anchor herself.
* UnskilledButStrong: She's ''very'' strong after getting SuperStrength from her Element of Courage. The problem is that she isn't all that skilled at actually ''fighting'' and while she can overpower some people more experienced than she is if they are much weaker, when she runs into someone as strong as she is, she gets her butt kicked. She starts getting trained by Megan to remedy this.
* WeirdnessMagnet: Is noted as attracting a lot of weird situations, though her friends didn't believe her about most of them until they met extradimensional aliens. Comes in handy, as she's friends with the Princess of the Isle of Pony and is able to help with FirstContact by contacting her.
* WhatTheHellHero: Bright Eyes and her friends call her out on [[LeeroyJenkins rushing head long into a fight with Emperor Ahuizotl's Caballeron]] and nearly getting herself killed, as while they were the only ones close enough to stop it, she should've at least called the rest of the Seven to help her.

!Clover
* ArmedLegs: Her Paladin armor weapon is a blade on each leg for use with her ballerina skills.
* BornLucky: Her special talent is luck, both good and bad.
* BornUnlucky: Her special talent is luck, both good and bad. Though Melody notes her talent might be good luck and she's just really clumsy.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Her ability as Element of Humility may sound strange, but it comes very much in handy. Particularly when it turns out she can tell if an enemy is worn down enough for their side to make the move to defeat yet.
* HumbleHero: Her Element of Harmony is Humility.
* TheKlutz: Is rather klutzy and at one point trips and falls into a bush just turning to show her Cutie Mark.
* MaybeMagicMaybeMundane: Melody notes that it's not exactly clear if the bad luck part of her Special Talent is genuine or she's just a klutz.
* {{Seers}}: Her power as Element of Humility is a specialized form of this. She has the ability to see whether what she or her side are considering doing and is beyond their capability to do and how difficult it will be, so they know rather to try to do it that way or change plans to something that will work. WordOfGod describes it as the power to never overestimate her side's abilities.

!Bonbon
* AlternateSelf: Is implied to be an alternate universe version of Bonbon from the prime universe.
* BigEater: She loves her sweets and eats a lot. Because of this, she's happy her SuperEmpowering came with a heightened metabolism that means her eating habits are now healthy for her and she's actually ''lost'' some weight. Which makes her goal of being a model considerably easier to accomplish.
* BladeOnAStick: Her Paladin armor weapon is a spear. It was chosen because her combat ability isn't all that high and a spear keeps enemies at a distance and requires very little skill to use.
* ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve: Has this as an explicit superpower, as her Element of Faith allows her to power up others substantially if she believes and has faith in them.
* FormerlyFat: Not quite fat, but she was pudgier due to her being a BigEater. After her SuperEmpowering, her metabolism is heightened and she loses the weight and becomes thinner, as a fully empowered Earth Pony requires far more calories to remain healthy than an unawakened one.
* NoSelfBuffs: While her power as the Element of Faith lets her power up others she believes in, it doesn't provide any sort of buff to herself which is why her armor is more focused on defense than the others.
* PsychoactivePowers: Her Element of Faith power relies on her believing and having faith in others to work and is directly proportional to the amount of it she has in them.
* SupportPartyMember: Her Element of Faith's power is solely to power up others she believes in and gives her no added power.

!Teddy
* BerserkButton: Don't insult Sweetheart around him.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Is a bad boy, but has a heart to him. Particularly when it involves Sweetheart.
* OfficialCouple: Is Sweetheart's coltfriend.
* PapaWolf: As Sweetheart's coltfriend, Sweetheart states that he's Spike's 'father' in a sense, or at least father figure. When tasked by her with protecting him during the Tower Beyond the Sky Arc, he takes it very seriously and is quite protective of him. In the end when the group finally gain the upper hoof on the agent chasing them, Teddy pounds him for threatening Spike.

!Ace
* ItsAllAboutMe: Has some selfish tendencies, such as needing to be told that he could be famous if he doesn't wreck the FirstContact thing.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: He's selfish and narcissistic, but he's not a bad person. He cares enough to help Teddy protect Spike during the Tower Beyond the Sky Arc.
* TheToothHurts: He doesn't believe Spike literally eats gemstones, so he tries one himself thinking it's rock candy. It's not, and he gets a chipped tooth. Fortunately, Sweetheart has HealingHands from her Element of Love, and heals him quickly, but it wasn't pleasant.

!Lancer
* NiceGuy: Is quite nice and polite, even offering to pay for the visitor's food at the ice cream shop when he finds out they don't have any money.
* TheSmartGuy: Is this, which is one reason that Bright Eyes likes him.
* SpoiledSweet: Is rich, but a polite and goodhearted colt.

!Spike
* AlternateSelf: To Spike.
* BadassAdorable: He may be an adorable baby dragon, but that doesn't stop him from saving Teddy from a Neo-Hooviet agent with his firebreath.
* BreathWeapon: As a dragon, he can breath fire, but doesn't manage to until the Tower Beyond the Sky Arc, where he uses it to save Teddy from a Neo-Hooviet agent. While weak and small, it's enough to give the guy first degree burns.
* CheerfulChild: Is a cheerful newborn dragon.
* HappilyAdopted: Imprints on Sweetheart as the first thing he saw when he hatched and adores her as his mother.
* ParentsInDistress: Saves Teddy, who he sees as his father (something Sweetheart and Teddy also see as fact), from a Neo-Hooviet Agent and breaths fire for the first time. Teddy quickly repays him by beating the crap out of the agent for [[PapaWolf threatening to kidnap Spike.]]
* OneManArmy: Will be this some day when he's fully grown, which is why he was considered one of the Seven Sleeping Armies.
* SealedGoodInACan: Was one of the Seven Sleeping Armies, with his egg enchanted so it'd only hatch when TheChosenOne appeared. Sweetheart turned out to be the one.

!President Pony
* AlternateSelf: Is implied to be an alternate universe version of Mayor Mare.
* ADogNamedDog: Is a pony named Pony. Lampshaded.
* BigGood: Of Ponyland, being a reasonable president who helps establish diplomatic relations with Equestria without much issue. She also works with Celestia to build Seiryu/Mechagojira to counter any potential kaiju attacks to either world. She also dons the RANGER V2 Armor to protect people during the Tower Beyond the Sky Arc.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: Subverted; she not only remembers that Patch and company helped save a critically endangered species, but respects them a good bit for it. She gives the Tales Seven medals for their actions during the Winter Wedding Arc, which involved being a major factor in the destruction of Chrysalis's nuclear submarine due to Patch finding the coordinates escaping Chrysalis's base.
* KneelBeforeFrodo: Bows before Megan when she enters the Alliance's discussion room, as there's literally a religion revolving around Megan in her universe.
* OurPresidentsAreDifferent: Of the 'President Personable' variety. She's the president of Ponyland and a ReasonableAuthorityFigure. Becomes 'President Action' during the Tower Beyond the Sky Arc when she dons the RANGER V2 prototype to help protect her constituents from TheRemnant of Chrysalis's Network. She intended to give it to Sincere Heart as an upgrade, but he wasn't there and thus she did it herself.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Is President of Ponyland, but is willing to hear the Mane Six out and sets up diplomatic relations with Equestria with little issue, being more concerned with FirstContact going smoothly than anything else. She even remembered the Tales 7 saving the Green Winged Song Bird and respects them for it.

!King Skyline
* DudeWheresMyRespect: Subverted; he remembers Patch and company reunited him with his long lost daughter and is immensely grateful for it, which is why he hears them out about the Mane Six. He also knights the Tales Seven for their actions during the Winter Wedding Arc, one of which was saving his family.
* TheGoodKing: Is the king of the Isle of Pony and a ReasonableAuthorityFigure.
* GoodParents: Loves his daughter and one of the big reasons FirstContact goes so well is because Patch and company reunited them and he respects her enough to set up the meeting with Twilight on her say so.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Is King of the Isle of Pony and like President Pony is willing to hear the Mane Six out and set up diplomatic relations with Equestria. The entire reason he hears Patch out is he's sincerely grateful for Patch reuniting him with his daughter and felt she deserved his trust in return.

!Queen Starburst
* GoodParents: Loves her daughter and is very grateful to Patch for reuniting them.
* TheHighQueen: Is Queen of the Isle of Pony and a ReasonableAuthorityFigure like her husband.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Like her husband, she hears the mane six out and listens to Patch out of gratitude for returning her daughter to her.

!Princess Rosie
* LostOrphanedRoyalty: Was this, but Patch helping her family find her is what earned her parents gratitude and made FirstContact go smoothly.
* PrincessesRule: Subverted; she's a princess and has some say in how her kingdom is run, but ultimately has to bring her father and mother in when it comes to dealing with FirstContact.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Like her parents is willing to hear out the mane six.

!Sincere Heart
* AlternateSelf: Is an alternate Shining Armor.
* OfficialCouple: Proposes to his girlfriend Winter Song during Hearth's Warming, and their marriage is the focus of the Winter Wedding Arc.
* PoweredArmor: Uses the [=RANGER=] System, a set of magitek powered armor based off the Paladin System but designed for use by those without awakened magic.
* SuperPrototype: His [=RANGER=] Armor is the prototype version, which is too stressful on the body for anypony but him to use.
* WalkingArmory: His PoweredArmor is loaded with weaponry.

!Princess Brightglow
* AlienBlood: Downplayed, due to being a hybrid, but her blood is a lighter shade of pink than normal and bioluminescent.
* BigDamnHeroes: Arrives to rescue Patch and Rosie from Chrysalis's minions, giving Patch the opening to activate her Paladin Armor and get free.
* DisappearedDad: Never met her alien father due to Equus not being ready for FirstContact yet. Thankfully, she finally does when the Celestials of her universe are contacted.
* HalfHumanHybrid: Is a Pegasus/Celestial Pony hybrid.
* HybridPower: Being half Celestial Pony means she has the powers of a Pegasus and a Solar Sailor. This means she can do things like create blindingly bright ball lightning for a combination flash bang and ShockAndAwe attack.
* LightEmUp: Can generate blinding flashes of pink light, due to being half Celestial Pony.
* PoliticallyActivePrincess: Was sent to the Earth Ponies to make FirstContact as her kingdom's emissary and ambassador.
* PrincessesRule: Subverted; she's a Princess in the sense of being the daughter of a queen, as her mother still rules the kingdom. She isn't even the Crown Princess, that would be her elder sister Dazzle Glow.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Turns out to be a Princess of the Pegasi Kingdom, her mother being Queen Star Catcher. She was also sent to be the Pegasi's emissary to the Earth Ponies and handles herself very well in combat.
* WarriorPrincess: The Pegasi are a race of warriors, and Brightglow is no different. She gets it from her mother.

!Queen Star Catcher
* ActionGirl: While well past her prime, she ''is'' the ruler of a warrior race and an excellent warrior herself. The only reason she didn't take part in the Isle of Pony battle herself was distance.
* AlternateSelf: To Starcatcher from the World of Empathy.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Is a reasonable, nice queen who gladly leaps into the fray to save the Isle of Pony. She's also a trained, highly skilled warrior whose WeaponOfChoice is the surprisingly brutal Cloud Shark Tooth Sword.
* HeroOfAnotherStory: She went on an epic adventure in her youth to reunite Ponykind. She managed to succeed with all but the Earth Ponies (due to having the misfortune of doing her quest during the second World War), which lead her on a long journey across the world with many adventures.
* InterspeciesRomance: Fell in love with a Celestial Pony who crash landed in the Pegasi capital, who was the father of her daughters. It wasn't until FirstContact the two could actually get together properly, and he now rules alongside her as her king.
* TheHighQueen: The Queen of this world's Pegasi, and a good and just ruler. When she hears that the Isle of Pony is under attack, she's the first of the rulers to want to vote for help.

!Queen Sparkle
* ActionGirl: She's explicitly the WorldsBestWarrior and an incredibly skilled ninja.
* AlternateSelf: Is implied to be an alternate Twilight Sparkle.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Is the Queen of the 'Hidden' Unicorns, and the best warrior out of all of them.
* GeniusBruiser: Is implied to be an alternate Twilight, and is wise and philosophical, but she's also the WorldsBestWarrior.
* WorldsBestWarrior: She's this, to the point all of the other royals acknowledge her as such. Luna's Sovereign Guard project includes training with her as part of the training regiment for this reason.

!Princess Winter Song
* AlternateSelf: Of Princess Cadence.
* DamselInDistress: Is kidnapped and replaced by her universe's Chrysalis.
* OfficialCouple: With Sincere Heart and their wedding being the focus of the Winter Wedding Arc.
* PrincessesRule: Subverted; she's a Princess on account of being Queen Starburst's younger sister and thus not even in line for the throne with Princess Rosie being recovered. She's still an important ambassador thought.

!Squire
* BackupFromOtherworld: Possesses his old armor (now one of the Armor of Valiant Warriors) to assist against Chrysalis's network once the Chamber of Seven Sleeping Armies is awakened. He does this to repay Patch for keeping his story alive into modern day.
* OurGhostsAreDifferent: Is the ghost of a knight.

!Princess Spring Heart/'Chrysalis'
* AlternateSelf: Of Queen Chrysalis.
* AndIMustScream: Her ultimate fate is to be [[spoiler: banished to a lifeless Equus in a dead universe, cursed to be entirely alone forever. And she can't get out of it via suicide either: she's also made immortal, so she can serve one year for every year she stole from her victims. AND there are kill systems and monitoring posts all around the planet to make sure she can't escape. Ever.]]
* ArcVillain: Of the Winter Wedding Arc.
* BondVillainStupidity: Subverted at every turn; when she has Patch and Rosie captive, she only spares them because she needs to keep them alive to MakeItLookLikeAnAccident later as part of her coup and gives her minions thorough orders to make sure they don't escape until then, and only doesn't stick around to see them followed through because the wedding is started and it's the corner stone of her entire plan. Patch has to think very fast and get help from Brightglow, someone Chrysalis couldn't have possibly anticipated, to escape and wreck her plan.
* CainAndAbel: The Cain to Winter Song and Starburst's Abel.
* TheChessmaster: Her plan was ''very'' thorough, with multiple backup plans to fall back on and contingencies that let her nearly succeed even with her comparably limited resources compared to the previous two 'Crisis' level baddies.
* CodeName: Her real name is Spring Heart, Chrysalis is a code name from her time as a KGB agent that ultimately became her supervillain alias.
* CrazyPrepared: Came with a DeadmanSwitch, a massive army, and even a HumongousMecha when her primary plan was to usurp the throne with cunning and intellect.
* DeadmanSwitch: Had one surgically implanted in her chest. If she dies or the switch is destroyed, a nuclear submarine will launch [[NukeEm a nuclear missile]] at the Isle of Pony [[TakingYouWithMe and take everyone down with her.]]
* DentedIron: She's a powerful warrior, yes, but RealityEnsues during her LastVillainStand. Badly wounded, exhausted, and with her armor barely holding itself together, she's worn down sufficiently for the Tales Seven to defeat her despite their experience difference.
* DePower: The Tales Seven use the Rainbow Powers to strip her of not only her PoweredArmor and stolen magical artifacts, but her ''Earth Pony'' magic as well, even her 'invisible hand' spell.
* DiabolicalMastermind: A high ranking former KGB agent in charge of a massive and dangerous criminal network that was powerful enough to nearly take the Isle of Pony by force, and that was only when taking it by cunning and manipulation failed.
* EmpoweredBadassNormal: Was already a well trained KGB agent and one of the best, then she gained Earth Pony magic and a suit of PoweredArmor.
* EvilAunt: Is Rosie's aunt, and a sociopathic monster.
* EvilTwin: Had herself made to look like Winter Song via plastic surgery, so unlike the prime Chrysalis she looks identical to her physically instead of via shapeshifting magic. Doubly so, as she's actually Winter Song's sister.
* FaceOfAnAngelMindOfADemon: Looks like Winter Song but is actually a sociopathic terrorist and TheUsurper. Doubly so as even before stealing her sister's face, she looked more like Mirror Chrysalis than the prime one.
* FluffyTheTerrible: Her real name, Spring Heart, isn't exactly what one would expect a dangerous, sociopathic terrorist to be called.
* HumongousMecha: An EvilKnockoff of Seiryu resembling the Showa Mechagodzilla.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Her motivations, as with her prime self, are ultimately selfish to the core. She tries to murder her own family to usurp the throne, is willing to kill everyone at the wedding to accomplish it, and is willing to destroy the entire Isle of Pony and everyone on it rather than die and fail to achieve her ambitions.
* LastVillainStand: After Yonggary and Applejack destroy Mechagodzilla, her sub is destroyed, the Sleeping Armies are awoken in the Isle's favor, and reinforcements arrive, she makes her last stand against the Tales Seven despite having no chance of her forces winning at that point.
* LukeIAmYourFather: Reveals she's actually Princess Rosie's exiled aunt, and the reason Rosie was LostOrphanedRoyalty to begin with.
* PersonaNonGrata: Was banished from the Isle of Pony for attempting to kill her sister and usurp the throne. [[spoiler:Her final fate is banishment to a dead universe after being made immortal and sentenced to live one year for every year of life she's stolen from another.]]
* PoweredArmor: Uses a knockoff of the [=RANGER=] armor that makes her resemble her prime counterpart.
* RenegadeRussian: Played With. She's a foreigner, but was also a Hooviet KGB agent before she and her network vanished when the union collapsed.
* SuperMode: Her armor turns out to be able to shed its heavy weapons and activate a Paladin Armor type mode using her magical crown as its power source, which is far stronger than its RANGER mode and much faster.
* {{Supervillain}}: Played more as this than her prime self as beings like her are much less common in her home universe than in Equestria.
* SurgicalImpersonation: As she's from Ponyland and a normal Earth Pony, she can't just shapeshift into Winter Song, and instead had herself made to look identical to her by plastic surgery.
* TakingYouWithMe: Had a DeadmanSwitch implanted in her chest so that if she dies, the Isle of Pony will get a nuclear missile launched at it.
* TheUnfettered: Ultimately it doesn't matter what gets between her and what she wants, she'll do anything she can to achieve her goals.
* TheUsurper: Intends to usurp the throne of the Isle of Pony after being exiled for attempting to do so in the past.
* VillainousBreakdown: Manages to maintain her composure after Patch interrupts at the Wedding and foils her Plan A, but once she's knocked out of her armor in the resulting fight, she has a breakdown and summons her mecha to try in a livid rage. Once her nuclear sub is discovered and on the verge of being sunk, she has an even bigger one, ordering it to unleash a nuclear holocaust before it goes. Once the Armor of the Valiant Warriors and Shisa are awoken, she ''snaps'' and starts [[WhyWontYouDie screaming for everyone opposing her to die]] and stops caring about friendly fire.
* VillainousValor: As rotten and evil as she is, she does have one positive trait: she ''won't'' quit until she literally cannot fight any longer.
* VillainSong: Has a version of "This Day Aria" like her prime self, but it's a rock remix to fit the popularity of the genre in the early 90s where Tales takes place.

!'Hercules Beetle'
* CodeName: Hercules Beetle is his code name, not his true one.
* CoDragons: With Kabuto and Digger Wasp.
* NobleDemon: He's not really an evil guy, so much as following orders from an evil person.
* PoweredArmor: Like Chrysalis he wears one, with his built like a tank and powerful enough to fight Hegemony Space Marines head on.
* SizeShifter: When his fight with Cerberus starts going south, he activates an emergency system that makes him grow to giant size. Unfortunately, [[AttackItsWeakPoint this also exposes a weak point in his armor...]]
* SuperSoldier: Was enhanced by Kabuto to be one, and his armor makes him more so.
* WouldNotShootACivilian: Thoroughly abides by this. He even calls off his fight with the Space Legionaries for a moment to get some children out of harm's way.

!'Kabuto'
* CodeName: Kabuto is his code name; his real one isn't.
* CommieNazis: Justified; he's a Nazi equivalent death camp MadDoctor who decided to defect to the Hooviet Union to avoid being prosecuted for his crimes.
* {{Cyborg}}: Unlike his fellows, his suit isn't just PoweredArmor, he's a cyborg and by his own admission more machine than pony now.
* EvilOldFolks: Is an old stallion, and a former Nazi death camp MadDoctor.
* MadDoctor: He was apparently ''literally'' the InUniverse version of Mengele.
* OurWerebeastsAreDifferent: Were!Fluttershy bites him as his punishment, infecting him with her Wereskunk strain.
* SmellySkunk: Is bitten and infected by Were!Fluttershy, turning him into a Wereskunk. This is unfortunate for his guards after his escape, as when he transforms and frees his own prisoners, he typically skunks them.
* SuperpoweredEvilSide: ''Inverted'', he's infected by Were!Fluttershy, resulting in him turning into a Wereskunk at night. While far stronger than his unaltered form (as the transformation also pushed out his cybernetics and makes new ones not take), it also has ''Fluttershy's'' morality, making it the ''good'' side. He managed to escape capture, but due to this, he's unable to do anything evil because his Wereskunk form just frees his captives every night.
* SuperSoldier: Is a powerful {{Cyborg}}.
* ThoseWackyNazis: Is a former Nazi or pony equal of one.

!'Digger Wasp'
* BlessedWithSuck: [[spoiler: Digger Wasp can see fragmentary visions of the future since he was a colt, which should be cool... except that all his visions are of death, disaster and destruction that could or will occur, with him mostly powerless to not see them when they come or prevent the horrors shown from occurring.]] Needless to say, it doesn't do wonders to his sanity and peace of mind.
* CursedWithAwesome: At the same time, Digger Wasp's [[spoiler: future visions become an ''incredibly'' useful asset to him in his time as an agent of the KGB and his superior Chrysalis, allowing him to shoot or destroy with maximum efficiency by showing him the best way to take out almost any target, honing his reflexes and accuracy until he a highly effective sniper and combatant, even before his SuperSoldier enhancements.]]
* CodeName: Digger Wasp is his code name, his true one is unknown.
* CoDragons: With Hercules and Kabuto.
* ColdSniper: Is an assassin SuperSoldier and rarely, if ever, speaks. [[spoiler: This has to do with the unique 'gift' he has that made him so incredibly effective...]]
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: He deeply loves his sister, 'Jewel Wasp', [[spoiler: and is obsessed with preventing her death that he has foreseen.]]
* InvisibilityCloak: His suit has one built in to add to his capability as an assassin.
* [[spoiler: {{Seers}}: Can see the future, which is a natural ability of his.]]
* SuperSoldier: Was enhanced by Kabuto to have SuperReflexes and enhanced aiming skills. His armor also has an active cloaking system. And that's not even

!'Thorax'
* AlternateSelf: Of Thorax.
* CodeName: Thorax is his code name rather than his true one.
* HeelRealization: Being asked to kill a pair of teenage girls finally got too much for his conscience to let him live with and he turns on Chrysalis as a result.
* MookFaceTurn: Turns against Chrysalis when his morality gets the better of him, and instead saves Rosie and Patch.
* NotWhatISignedUpFor: He decidedly didn't sign up with the knowledge he'd be asked to shoot a pair of teenage girls in cold blood, and being asked to do so makes him turn on Chrysalis.

!'Pharynx'
* AlternateSelf: To Prime Pharynx.
* BigBrotherBully: Was this, but as with his prime self, mainly out of a desire to get his little brother to toughen up.
* BigBrotherInstinct: He loves his little brother and would ''never'' outright turn against him.
* BigDamnHeroes: Takes out a squad of Hooviets with a grenade before they can open fire on the Tales Seven and their allies.
* ChummyCommies: Is clear he's still dedicated to the Hooviet Union's cause and a communist, but willingly defected from Chrysalis's group because he couldn't justify killing innocent people like she intended.
* CodeName: Pharynx is his code name in this universe.
* DefectorFromDecadence: Defects along with Thorax because while a proud Hooviet, he's a soldier, not a murderer, and didn't sign on to kill innocent civilians.
* NotWhatISignedOnFor: He signed up to try and restore the Hooviet Union or create a new land with the same political system, not murder innocent people. To quote him, he's a soldier; not a murderer.
* SoProudOfYou: Admits he's proud of Thorax for toughening up enough to stand by his ideals and refuse to kill innocent people for Chrysalis.

!Assassin Bug
* AvengingTheVillain: Admits that Chrysalis might have been a monster, but she had his genuine loyalty and he seeks to avenge her defeat.
* DisneyVillainDeath: [[spoiler:Throws himself off Olympus Station and into Equus's atmosphere.]]
* DrivenToSuicide: [[spoiler:Kills himself by throwing himself into Equus's atmosphere when beaten.]]
* HowTheMightyHaveFallen: Feels this way about the Chrysalis Network after the Winter Wedding, having gone from one of the mightiest military forces on the planet that nearly beat the Alliance themselves to struggling against a handful of heroes. Bright Eyes concurs, as does Patch, with the later having no love for them.
* IDieFree: [[spoiler:Chooses to fling himself into Equus's atmosphere rather than be saved by Sweetheart and be captured.]]
* TakingYouWithMe: Attempts to self-destruct when it becomes apparent that he's going to lose, but Bright Eyes cuts the wiring of his suit to prevent it from working.
* TheHeavy: For the Tower Beyond the Sky Arc, as he's not the leader of the remnant and acting in part for a mysterious benefactor, but is still leading the attack.
* TheRemnant: After their defeat on the Isle of Pony, the Chrysalis Network was more or less wiped out, with Assassin Bug and his group being all that's left.

!King Onyx
* AffablyEvil: He's a supervillain and secretly backed Chrysalis and is his world's BigBad, but is a genuinely loving husband to his wife and friendly with the heroes.
* AlternateSelf: Of King Sombra. He even looks very close to him in his warlock form.
* BigBad: One of the few villains who doesn't last a single Arc and serves as an overall villain for many Ponyland stories, due to orchestrating many villains the Tales Seven face from behind the scenes.
* ByThePowerOfGreyskull: Gets ''two'', one to transform into his warlock form and the other to activate his PoweredArmor.
* CompositeCharacter: He's described as being a combination of Sombra and [[WesternAnimation/{{Gargoyles}} David Xanatos.]]
* CrazyPrepared: Like his prime self, he went to ''extreme'' lengths to keep his secret identity hidden and the secret chamber beneath his castle hidden from all but himself and his trusted enforcers.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: Despite being a supervillain, he genuinely loves his wife and son.
* FriendlyEnemy: Is friends with the Tales Seven and many members of the Alliance, which seems genuine.
* HiddenVillain: He wants to keep his existence as a villain secret from as many as possible.
* HappilyMarried: To Queen Faithful Wish.
* MacGuffinDeliveryService: Does [[XanatosGambit a twofold version]]: he spikes the demand for a piece of the [[DismantledMacGuffin Key of Darkness]] on the black market to convince criminals to steal it and take it somewhere he could easily claim it. If they fail (which they do thanks to the Tales Seven), the Alliance will begin searching for the pieces themselves as a precaution, with him on the coalition searching for them, and will bring all seven to one place for him.
* MundaneSolution: Spies or informants could be discovered and betray him under interrogation, but he still needs to gather intelligence. Onyx's solution? Turn on the TV and watch the news.
* RagsToRoyalty: Was apparently an orphan before he became king, implying Faithful is the one who's royal by birthright.
* RunningBothSides: Is responsible for inflating the price of the pieces of the Keys of Darkness on the black market and sending a large number of criminals after them...and is also on the coalition formed by the Alliance to find them first.[[XanatosGambit Meaning no matter who finds the pieces, he can get his hooves on them in the end.]]
* TheChessmaster: Onyx is a meticulous planner that leaves nothing to chance, with his plans [[XanatosGambit having ways he wins no matter what]] and being incredibly careful not to leave any evidence of his criminal actions.
* TheGoodKing: Despite being a supervillain, he's apparently a good ruler in his home country.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Is a well liked ruler and the only reason anyone might suspect he's a supervillain is that he's Sombra's AlternateSelf. His wife is also unaware he's a supervillain.
* XanatosGambit:
** His backing the Chrysalis Network's remnant's attack on the Olympus Station was this: if Assassin Bug won, he could throw his lot in with repairing or rebuilding the Station, giving him a controlling interest in the new station and partial ownership, if Assassin Bug lost, Onyx behaving as a model person and taking heroic actions during the whole mess makes him even more of a VillainWithGoodPublicity than he already was, thus removing even nearly all suspicion from himself. Fitting, given he's based off [[WesternAnimation/{{Gargoyles}} David Xanatos]] himself according to WordOfGod.
** Tricking some gangsters into trying to steal the First Piece of the Key of Darkness is also one: they succeed, he gets a piece of the Key, they fail? The Alliance searches for the remaining pieces and [[MacGuffinDeliveryService will collect them for him.]] If the Alliance destroys the key pieces, he has an excuse not to free his mother.
** Luring an interdimensional phantom thief version of Rough Diamond into trying to steal another piece has the same outcome, as will any other conflict over the Key pieces. And due to being on the coalition to retrieve the pieces, he can continue to rack up good publicity for himself.

!Queen Faithful Wish
* AlternateSelf: Of Radiant Hope.
* HappilyMarried: To King Onyx.
* TheHighQueen: Is a good queen and unaware of her husband's villainy. She's implied to also be the blood ruler of the country while Onyx is king by marriage.

!Queen Dark Crystal
* AlternateSelf: Of Rabia.
* AncientEvil: Is the one who caused the tribes to divide and isolate in the first place.
* EvilMatriarch: As in the prime universe, she's Onyx's mother. How this is possible give she's currently imprisoned in a spell book has yet to be revealed. Notably, while he intends to free her, Onyx doesn't seem to ''like'' her.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: Was Queen of Traneighvania, and also an immensely powerful and evil witch.
* LeakingCanOfEvil: Implied, as she managed to somehow create Onyx while sealed in a spell book.
* PredecessorVillain: To Onyx, being a previous queen of Traneighvania and also his mother.
* RealAfterAll: Is first introduced by Onyx as a Traneighvanian myth, but is revealed at the end of the arc to be very real, and also his mother.
* SealedEvilInACan: She was imprisoned in her own spell book. King Onyx is currently in possession of it and intends to set her free.
* WickedWitch: Is noted as having been an evil witch so immensely powerful that she nearly conquered the world ''by herself'' and drove the tribes into their present day isolation.
