* WarriorPrincess: The Pegasi are a race of warriors, and Brightglow is no different. She gets it from her mother.

* OurElvesAreBetter: The native Flutterponies are based off Elves or Fae, though they're not high and mighty as in most portrayals.

* NiceGuy: Is quite nice and polite, even offering to pay for the visitor's food at the ice cream shop when he finds out they don't have any money.
* TheSmartGuy: Is this, which is one reason that Bright Eyes likes him.
* SpoiledSweet: Is rich, but a polite and goodhearted colt.

* BondVillainStupidity: Subverted at every turn; when she has Patch and Rosie captive, she only spares them because she needs to keep them alive to MakeItLookLikeAnAccident later as part of her coup and gives her minions thorough orders to make sure they don't escape until then, and only doesn't stick around to see them followed through because the wedding is started and it's the corner stone of her entire plan. Patch has to think very fast and get help from Brightglow, someone Chrysalis couldn't have possibly anticipated, to escape and wreck her plan.

* PsychoactivePowers: The Tales Seven's element powers tend to power up if they're strongly experiencing their Element's trait at the time, such as Patch's SuperStrength spiking dramatically or Starlight's SuperToughness becoming...well, tougher. Bonbon's is a stand out, as her power ''only'' works when she has faith in someone.
