* CoolLoser: Kevin is a CoolOldGuy who's fun loving, hip, and friendly. However, the other houseguests put him down and talk badly about him behind his back. Paul has pretended to be friends with Kevin to his face but in reality, he's been plotting to get rid of him for weeks despite the both of them being in an alliance since the beginning. Alex has an IrrationalHatred towards Kevin that cannot be understood or explained. She has bullied him, talked trash about him endlessly and unnecessarily picked on him to get under his skin. She had made her main mission to try to target him and get him out of the house even though Kevin has done nothing to warrant her hostility in the first place. Christmas has personally attacked Kevin and trash talked him endless on top of the fact that she's also wanted him out for no reason. Which is interesting because Kevin has been nothing but nice to Christmas and has been a loyal friend to her especially when she was going through such a difficult situation with her broken foot. Instead, she has constantly talked about how much she can't stand Kevin and how she doesn't trust him because she thinks that he is disloyal and shady. Josh has also talked about how much he doesn't like Kevin because he thinks that he's a shady flip flopper who has no loyalty to anyone in the game. The only people that had any kind of like for Kevin were Jessica and maybe Cody.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: During Week 5 when the entire house went on a taunting and bullying tirade against Jody, Christmas resorted to making personal attacks against Cody by saying that he was a disgrace or embarrassment to the military. She even resorted to questioning his military status. Even though Christmas was justified in her anger towards Cody for backstabbing her and betraying her back in Week 1 by putting her on the block when they were aligned together, Christmas still made a low blow regardless.

* TheDarkChick: Alex doubles as this and TheDragon to Paul. She also shares this role with Raven. She can be pretty convincing in trying to get others to do what she wants whether her orders are coming from Paul or not. It's what makes Alex such a huge threat in the game because she can be quite manipulative and ruthless.

* ManipulativeBitch: Surprisingly, Alex is very manipulative. She will use manipulation in order to get what she wants. She's nowhere near as manipulative as Paul but she has some influence. She did a really good job at manipulating Jason and getting him to dow act she wanted. Even Jessica had commented to Cody in Week 6 that Alex had Jason wrapped around her finger due to her manipulating and controlling him.

* ThirteenIsUnlucky: Poor Alex. Not only was she the '''13th''' houseguest to be evicted from the house, but the week that she was sent home (and before that), she had some pretty bad luck or bad karma brewing her way. In Week 10, Alex was completely blindsided when her ride or die Jason was sent home unexpectedly on Double Eviction after Christmas, as the HOH, sent Jason home with a tie breaker vote. Jason was so shell shocked by his blindside that he couldn't process what happened. He was very upset about his eviction, so upset in fact, that he didn't even hug or say goodbye to anyone, including Alex. It was revealed later on that Jason didn't say goodbye to Alex on the way out because he thought that his own ride or die and best friend in the house was conspiring against him with Paul and everyone else and that she was in on the blindside and the plan to get him out of the house. [[LittleDidIKnow Little did he know]] that Alex was completely innocent and was the only one who had no clue about the plan to blindside Jason. Alex was just as blindsided and shocked by Jason's eviction as he was. With her best friend mad at her, she was emotionally distracted. On the same night that Alex lost her best friend, she won the HOH which seemed to be good luck for her. Unfortunately, still feeling emotionally raw from Jason's eviction, she still trusted Paul who told her to put both Kevin and Raven on the block, thinking that her number one target and ArchEnemy Kevin was going to finally go home. When it came time for the houseguests to evict someone, Raven was sent home over Kevin, the person that Alex wanted gone more than anyone for week. Because Kevin failed to go home, her HOH reign was rendered pointless and a failure. Alex was completely alone in the game and she realized that nobody was on her side. In Week 11, Alex is nominated by HOH Josh against Kevin. She believes that she is safe and that Kevin will be voted out, but Alex loses the POV to Paul and she remains on the block. When Paul won the POV, Alex still believes that she is safe since she thinks that Paul plans on using the POV to pull her off the block. After all, Alex believed that she and Paul were a Final 2 alliance and were going to be the duo that went all the way to the end with either of them having a chance to win. However, she gets blindsided ONCE AGAIN when Paul reveals to her that he plans on not using the POV to save her from the block. Paul reveals to her that he's choosing to go to the end with Josh and Christmas and that she is the one who'll be voted out that week. Alex has a complete VillainousBSOD and VillainousBreakdown upon hearing the news about Paul's betrayal and she does NOT take it lightly. Alex lashes out at all of the other houseguests, including going on a 20 minute angry rant to the camera in the backyard, calling all of the other houseguests counterfeits and saying that she hates everyone in the house. She's especially angry at Paul and extremely bitter about being betrayed. For the next few days before she is evicted, she spends all of her time in isolation and solitude refusing to talk to anyone. When she is evicted, she doesn't say goodbye to anyone, wish anyone left good luck or hug anyone. Alex is so upset and enraged with Paul's betrayal that she doesn't vote for him in the end. Alex had some really bad luck thrown her way the last few weeks that she was in the house and it's no coincidence that she happened to be the 13th houseguest that was evicted.

* ThirteenIsUnlucky: She had her foot broken on '''Day 13.''' And this injury has caused her extreme distress both in terms of her life in the real world (her career as a cross fit athlete is over) and in the game (she lacks the ability to compete in physical competitions). Christmas broke a dramatic 10 bones in her foot. Her broken foot ended up being a major obstacle in her ability to play the game to her full potential. She even had to leave the house on a temporary basis so that she could have surgery on her foot, which would lock Christmas out of the loop of what was going on in the house. The only way that she had any kind of mobility while in the house was relying on crutches and a scooter. In regards to her safety while in the house, she had to completely depend on her allies such as Josh and Paul to keep her safe from possible eviction or nomination. She didn't have the ability to fight for her own safety and her alliance and that killed her inside that she couldn't use her athletic abilities to earn immunity for herself.

* HeroKiller: Christmas was responsible for the eviction of Mark, who can be viewed as TheHero of the season. She was the one who nominated him and put him on the block as a backdoor option after Jason won the POV. Even though Mark has been one of her enemies throughout the game, Christmas admitted that she does feel slightly bad for being responsible for Mark's demise, but that she felt it was very necessary because she knows that she would be one of his major targets if he were to win HOH. In addition to being responsible for Mark's eviction, she's also directly responsible for Jason' eviction.

* FamilyValuesVillain: Kevin is veering into villain territory in the later weeks. However, that doesn't stop Kevin from having strong morals and values, especially when it comes to being overprotective of his kids and his family. If his kids or family are ever brought up anytime in the game, you best believe that Kevin will become an OverprotectiveDad and a PapaWolf who defends his kids and his family.

* AltoVillainess: Alex has a rather deep, husky and TomboyishVoice. It's fitting since she is also a female villain as she's TheDragon for Paul and is working for him. See ContraltoOfDanger.

* ContraltoOfDanger: Alex has a noticeably deeper and raspier voice than the other female houseguests. She's also the strongest female competitor as well as the most dominant, aggressive female houseguest personality-wise this season. See TomboyishVoice.

* ContraltoOfDanger: Christmas, similar to Alex who is also a tomboy, has somewhat of a deeper and raspier voice than some of the other female houseguests such as Raven and Jessica who are GirlyGirl's. Her strong voice also matches the fact that she's a huge physical and competitive threat due to her muscular physique and her strong athleticism. Not only is she a physical threat but her deep voice could also emphasize the fact that nobody should mess with her or get her angry, because it isn't a pleasant thing to see if anyone does. Her deep voice could also be caused by the heavy smoking that she used to do when she was younger and was living a very rough or hard lifestyle. Not to mention the fact that she was also doing heavy drinking and was taking heavy drugs which could also contribute to having a much deeper and huskier voice in a woman.

* BreakTheCutie: Alex goes through a series of events that lead to her ultimate emotional breakdown in Week 11. In Week 10, Jason and Alex are completely blindsided during Double Eviction night: Christmas's tie breaker vote evicts Jason, Alex's closest ally in the house (other than Paul). Alex is so shell shocked by his unexpected departure that when she wins HOH, she doesn't even manage to target Christmas. Instead, she continues to blindly follow Paul and his orders even though he has secretly been plotting against her and Jason for a while. Alex nominates Raven and Kevin instead of going after either Josh, Christmas, or Paul. On top of it, Raven is evicted over her ArchEnemy Kevin (who was actually her target and whom she wanted to be evicted). By the end of Double Eviction night, Alex is in such emotional shock that she appears to be traumatized by the whole ordeal that went down. It gets worse for Alex in Week 11. Not only does she get nominated by Josh, but she also loses the POV to Paul whom she believes will use it to take her off the block to ensure their safety and that they go to the end together as promised. Unfortunately for her, Paul confesses to Alex that he plans on not using the POV to save her from the block because he didn't want Josh to have to put another person on the block and get more blood on his hands. After Alex discovers Paul's intentions and that she is indeed going home, Alex has a huge emotional breakdown, crying repeatedly and lashing out in anger at the other remaining houseguests. She even goes on a twenty minute rant to the cameras outside about how she hates everyone in the house and how she's especially angry at Paul for betraying her. So to sum it all up, Alex loses her number one ally (Jason), doesn't successfully get out her enemy and target (Kevin) during her short time as HOH, is nominated for the fourth time, loses POV to Paul, is backstabbed and betrayed by Paul when he doesn't use the POV on her, has a huge emotional breakdown, and is evicted in the Final 5. The last couple of weeks have not been too kind to Alex.

** TheCreon: There have been multiple opportunities for Alex to take complete control or power from Paul as she's been in a position of power a couple of times as HOH, but she has repeatedly rejected the role of absolute leader. She's completely okay with following Paul's every order or decision and she's never questioned him due to her UndyingLoyalty to him.

** [[EvilIsPetty Pettiness]]: Alex doesn't call herself the "Queen of Petty" for nothing. She is incredibly petty and spiteful when she doesn't get her own way. She displays pettiness in the way that she treats other people. She was unnecessarily petty in the way that she treated Jessica, Cody, Elena, Paul, and Kevin especially. In the case of Jessica, she would constantly talk endless trash about her behind her back out of pettiness and jealousy. She repeatedly tried to target Jessica and wanted her to be evicted pre jury so that she wouldn't make it to jury and wouldn't be with Cody in jury either. In her Goodbye Message to Jessica, she acted very petty towards her when she gloated that she wanted to thank Jessica for hating her for no reason, that she wanted to wish her a great summer for not making it to jury and that she doesn't need to worry about Cody because she will watch him for her. Knowing that Jessica has always been insecure about the relationship between Cody and Alex, this was a dig at Jessica and Alex acting petty so that she could kick Jessica when she was already down. And she did that all while wearing her classic PETTY cap. How fitting. Her pettiness also extended to Cody as well. She was unnecessarily rude and mean to him even though he secretly was trying to work with her and protect her in the game. But she didn't even care and continued to act horrible towards him. During the week that Cody was being evicted, Cody lashed out at Alex for nominating him by eating her whole box of cereal. Alex reacted in a very vicious manner by yelling at him in front of the entire house and embarrassing him by humiliating him about having a kid and about how he ruined Jessica's chances in the game. Alex continued to berate him non-stop until he couldn't take the humiliation and the bullying anymore and decided to walk away from it in shame. Alex was also petty towards Elena after Elena had taken the $5,000 money prize and gave her a camping punishment in return. Alex didn't take it well at all and she acted extremely mean and petty towards Elena by repeatedly calling her derogatory names behind her back. She also wanted to get back at her for breaking her word by making Elena a Have-Not during her birthday but she decided not to because Alex wanted to uphold her word. She was unnecessarily petty and rude to Kevin, who noticed how mean she was. Alex not only talked trash about Kevin non stop but she also bullied him. When Kevin was a Have-Not, Alex hid his slop in the Storage Room so that he would starve. Kevin never did a single thing to her for the entire game and she thought that it was okay to do something like this. Finally, Alex really let her ultimate petty side come out when it came to Paul. After she found out that Paul was loyal to Josh and Christmas over her, she went on a 20 minute angry rant about how she dislikes him because he's a liar and he's a counterfeit who backstabbed her. She also lashed out at all of the other houseguests and decided to isolate herself all day and read the bible (something that she criticized both Cody and Dominique for doing by the way) and when she was evicted, she decided to not hug anyone or say goodbye to anyone. On top of it, Alex trashed Paul's name in the jury and made a pact with the other jury members that she wouldn't vote for Paul no matter who he was sitting next to in the Final 2. She upheld her word by voting for Paul over Josh and insulting Paul while she cast her vote about the concept of friendship.

* ItsPersonal: Alex had repeatedly said that Kevin has mistreated her on a personal level thought the game and that was the biggest reason she wanted him out so badly. According to her, Kevin was constantly throwing her under the bus to other houseguests and Alex didn't take it well when he did so. Alex also said that she grew to dislike Cody because he nominated her in Week 1 and blindsided her. She of course took that as a personal attack against her because Jessica wanted Alex on the block and Cody didn't do anything to defend her or prevent her from being nominated. Her dislike of Cody grew even more in Week 7 when Cody went out of his way to eat Alex's entire box of Honey Nut Chex cereal all by himself just to spite Alex for nominating him. Alex took this extremely personally and went on the attack against Cody by insulting him having a kid and being the root cause of Jessica's downfall and demise in the game. Alex also disliked Elena because she took it personally when Elena decided to take the 5K from her and give her a punishment during a POV competition. As a result of Elena's betrayal, she ended up wanting Elena out of the house over Cody. Alex became extremely petty over Elena breaking her word that she acted super salty and constantly called Elena derogatory names behind her back. Lastly, she took it very personal when she discovered that Paul had betrayed her when he confessed that he wasn't going to use the Veto to save her and that she was the going to be the next one going home. She went on a angry tirade to the cameras saying that she is super bitter about Paul's betrayal and that she thinks he's a douchebag for doing that to her. She avoided Paul during her last days in the house and she was angry and lashing out towards the other houseguests as well. It seems that out of all of the houseguests this season, Alex is the most bitter and she takes things very personally, even if something against her is strictly strategic and a game move. This extends to who she ended up voting for in the end, which was Josh. She didn't vote for Josh because he played the best game but because she was voting against Paul because she was bitter and salty that he betrayed her and she lost. Alex is the epitome of SoreLoser.

* RacialFaceBlindness: Jessica, who is Latina, has repeatedly referred to Alex, who is Asian, as "Pao Pao" because Alex is Asian and she has an almost uncanny physical resemblance to Paola Shea from Big Brother 16. However, on the show, it was interpreted by Megan that Jessica had called Alex "Panda" which is known to be an ethnic and racial slur for someone of Chinese descent. On the live feeds, Jessica calling Alex "Pao Pao" is often perceived as Jessica being racist or racially insensitive towards her.

* TooDumbToLive: Alex is by far and large considered to be one of the dumbest players to have ever made the final five, if not even played the entire game. She believed she's in control of the game, yet never seemed to put two and two together that Paul has been calling the shots, or that the target was never going. After Paul lied to her face that he wasn't going after her, she not only bought his [[BlatantLies obvious tie gambit]], but used her second head of household during the double eviction to target Kevin, just because [[SitcomArchNemesis she hated him]], and nominated Raven, because [her vote to evict Jason. The fact that Christmas cast the tiebreaker vote didn't even cross her head. Alex fixated on evicting Kevin, to the point where she nominated him as a serious target, and was shocked when he didn't go home. She saw nothing wrong with this. Worse still, Kevin showed no indication of wanting to go after her. Alex adamantly believed Paul was taking her to the final two. Even when Paul didn't use the veto on her and that Christmas's other "ally" in the game (Josh) was head of household (thus would cast the deciding vote). She saw nothing wrong with that, and didn't even bring up the notion of evicting Kevin or Christmas (which would weaken Josh) or force a tie (Which would still get Kevin out). Alex admitted to following Paul without question, even after Jason was evicted. She repeatedly threw competitions because Paul told her to. However, after all this, Alex did do ''one'' smart move: she flipped the jury vote by being the one person who did not let Paul win because she felt personally slighted by him while everyone else shook it off. She managed to redeem herself quite a bit in doing that, and the season itself in general, because she ensured it wasn't a GenreBlind mess like with Derrick and Season 16.

* {{Tsundere}}: Alex flip flops between Type A and Type B depending on who she's interacting with. Her default personality is normally snarky, sarcastic and aggressive but there are times where she is sweet, loving, and friendly. It depends on the person that she is interacting with. Most of her interactions with Cody emphasize her status as this trope.

* AlphaBitch: She fits the Type 1 category. With Alex leaving in Week 11 and Christmas being the last woman standing, it's safe to say that she's become the final de facto bitch of the entire season. Christmas started off as a nice person and was more of a LovableAlphaBitch (a NiceGirl who had her bitchy, catty moments), but eventually, she became meaner in personality and her true colors came to shine. She's extremely confrontational and argumentative and she's been in fights with different houseguests. She's personally attacked Mark, Cody, Jessica and Dominique all at different times and hasn't felt any guilt or remorse for her attitude. Christmas insulted Cody and his military status, saying that he's an embarrassment and a disgrace to the military. She has repeatedly trash talked and insulted Jessica behind her back by calling her names even though she tried to pretend that she was nice and friendly to her. Christmas has yelled at Mark in front of the house and has called him a disloyal and dishonest person simply because Mark's game plans didn't match up with hers. Even though Josh is one of her closest allies, she treats him like crap and acts like TheBully or BigSisterBully towards him. Whenever Josh doesn't do what she wants or act the way she wants him to act, Christmas intimidates him through force or yelling. Josh has been visibly intimidated and scared overtime Christmas confronts him when she's mad at him to the extent that he backs away from her and flinches in fear. She's also repeatedly trashed Raven behind her back such as making fun of her stories and her illness and saying that she doesn't deserve any sympathy because of how she constantly plays victim (which may be true but it was still a highly unsympathetic and insensitive thing to say about someone). The only person that she hasn't mistreat in the house is Paul and that's because she has a strong soft spot for him. Overall, Christmas was originally thought to be a nice, affable person who was kind, caring and compassionate. But as time went on, Christmas became more and more mean and vicious in personality and she's not the person that she appeared to be at first.

** Subverted during Week 5, when she and Alex decided to insult Cody's military service and question his patriotism for ''no reason'' other than [[JerkAss to get on his nerves]]. Though to be fair, she did it all under Paul's orders and [[TheDogBitesBack was repeatedly antagonized by Cody and Jessica before then]]. She also becomes more of a JerkJock as the season goes on especially in how she treats Josh and talks to him like he's below her. She almost comes across as TheBully or a BigSisterBully in her interactions with Josh because of how aggressive she acts towards him.

* AsianAndNerdy: Alex is a cross between this and AsianAirhead. Alex is Asian and of Filipino, Hawaiian, Korean, and Chinese descent. She can appear ditzy at times but she is actually a lot smarter than she seems. She also loves to play video games, which is something hat's considered to be a nerdy pastime.
* AsianAirhead: Alex is a very bubbly and energetic LovableAlphaBitch. Despite her energetic, ditzy and bubbly personality, she is actually a lot smarter, manipulative and cunning than she lets on and she seems to have good game instincts.

* BareYourMidriff: Like many of the other female houseguests, she can be seen wearing tops that reveal her midriff or stomach.

* ChristmasCake: Christmas (ironic, considering she's named after this trope) has referenced on the live feeds a few times that she feels a little insecure about the fact that she's 35 and has yet to marry anyone. She also stated that she has had rough relationships in the past and was engaged to a man when she was younger but the relationship didn't work out. She was supposedly supposed to get married to her fiancé in September, but she couldn't because she was in the house playing the game. Christmas even broke down in tears alone in her HOH room because of it.

* {{Yandere}}: Downplayed. People suspect Christmas has a bit of a ChristmasCake type of crush on Paul considering he's a lot younger than she is and her unusually ''fierce'' and overprotective devotion to him. The two have also had a bit of pillow talk and slept in the same bed together (with none of the extreme sexual connotations attached). Josh actually goes right up to her and asks if they are in a showmance together.

* DramaQueen: Alex has a really bad habit of making everything into a bigger deal than it is, starting fights over the stupidest things. For example, Alex decided to throw a major temper tantrum like a child in front of the entire house because Cody had ate her entire box of cereal by himself without asking. Granted, that's something to get upset or angry about, but Alex reacted in such a dramatic fashion that she came across as a SpoiledBrat who didn't get her way. She also overdid it when she was lashing out at Elena for going back on her promise that she wouldn't curse her during the POV competition. Yes, Elena did lie to her and betray her, but she reacted to Elena's betrayal much too dramatically and childishly. Instead of just confronting Elena upfront about the issue that he had with her, she decided to act like bratty child and throw a tantrum while conducting her Camping Punishment. She also repeatedly called Elena derogatory names behind her back and constantly talked trash about her to the other houseguests. Even the other houseguests were noticeably irked by Alex's attitude regarding Elena and thought that she was overdoing it and overreacting big time to both her punishment and her issues with Elena. Finally, in Week 11, Alex really lets her inner drama queen come out when she decides to go outside and angrily rant at the camera for nearly twenty minutes after she finds out that she is going home. She resorts to saying that she hates everyone else in the house and that Paul is the biggest douchebag that she has ever met in her life simply because he didn't ask risk his game for her and save her with the Veto. Much of Alex's dramatic behavior and outbursts have to do with the fact that she is an EntitledBitch and a SpoiledBrat who acts out when she doesn't get her way.

* ItsAllAboutMe: Alex has a habit of making everything about herself and she can be very self absorbed in her behavior and way of thinking. When she doesn't get her way, she can resort to acting out like a SpoiledBrat. She seems to have a selfish mentality in believing that she deserves to be in the game over everyone else and that nobody really has much of a chance to beat her shall she make it to the end. She also has an EntitledBitch attitude by believing that she has so many automatic votes in the jury when in fact, her chances of winning many jury votes are slim since the people currently in the jury are mad/bitter towards her for betrayal (Cody) or don't like her personally because of how she treated them (Elena).

* MiddleChildSyndrome: Alex is the middle child in her family. She has an older sister and a younger brother. Considering how much of an AttentionWhore she appears to be as well as a SpoiledBrat that expects to get everything, the middle child syndrome philosophy fits her.

* SpoiledBrat: Whenever things don't go Alex's way, she acts like a sulky, petty brat. When Alex was saddled with the Camping Punishment in Week 7 after Elena had cursed her in the POV competition and took $5,000 away from her, Alex threw a temper tantrum in front of everyone and letting everyone know just how angry she was with Elena. And when she was sealed in for eviction on Week 11, she spent the remainder of her time ranting how she got played and stiffing anybody who tried to make conversation.

* ConspiracyTheorist: Alex is the biggest conspiracy theorist in the house. Whenever she's questioning something or skeptical about anything, she starts to build up possible conspiracy theories. For example, Alex came up with he conspiracy theory that Kevin is really an undercover cop instead of just a stay at home dad because of how excited Kevin got when Derrick had came in the house to visit. She also came to the conclusion that Kevin could be a cop because he knows a lot about gangs, mobs and crime and he talks a lot about those topics in the house. Alex has also questioned Cody's military service because he lacks scars and tattoos on his body. She also questions his military status because he's had an American Flag towel lying on the floor which shows that he's disrespecting the American flag, something a true Marine would never do. No matter what it is, Alex is always coming up with a conspiracy theory for everything maybe because she gets bored and feels that it's the only viable thing she can do other than trash talk the other houseguests.

** DragonAscendant: It could be assumed that if Paul were to ever leave or be evicted (which doesn't seem very likely at all considering he's playing all sides and he's covered everywhere), Alex would most likely take over Paul's position as the BigBad and the biggest threat that would run and control the house. Alex is tied for Josh as Paul's second in command and she's arguably the next most powerful player next to Paul.

* TheBigGuy: Kevin has stated that he's 6'3" and as a result, he's one of the tallest houseguests of the season. He rivals the heights of Mark (6'5"), Jason (6'5") and Josh (6'4"). However, it could be considered to be subverted in his case as he's not a competitor or a bruiser.

* HouseHusband: According to his bio, Kevin is a stay at home dad which means that his job is taking care of his children and his family. It's uncertain what his occupation was before or if he ever did have an actual job. It's assumed that since Kevin is the stay at home father who takes care of the family, he's probably highly domesticated and most likely does all of the cooking and cleaning in the house, and that it's his wife who has the job and is the breadwinner of the house.

* DarkerAndEdgier: Christmas continues to become more and more mean and aggressive as the season goes on. She starts off as a NiceGirl but eventually descends into somewhat of a FallenHero. Her downfall could be attributed to the fact that she endured a tragic turn in her game when she ended up breaking her foot and therefore, could not be as productive in the game as she wanted to be. This caused her to become more miserable which prompted a negative change in her personality and her attitude. she also became significantly more cynical and pessimistic in her thinking. The other thing that changed her attitude and personality was her becoming TheCorruptible and TheDragon to Paul. There's no doubt that Paul had a major influence and impact on how much Christmas changed for the negative. A lot of the mean and nasty behavior that Christmas was doing was strongly influenced by Paul. A lot of her bullying behavior was influenced by Paul. There's no doubt that Paul was the major toxic influence that caused Christmas to become the unlikeable person that she was. By the end of the season, Christmas was barely recognizable to the person that she was at the start of the game.

* MoralityPet: Christmas is one for Paul and Josh. Paul has a tendency to get a little out of hand with his antics and his ruthlessness in the game. But Christmas stops Paul from overacting and crossing the line. And for Josh, Christmas has always served as a major support system for him. Josh was always overly emotional, impulsive, hot headed and would get into numerous fights with people. However, Christmas would be the one to pile on the BigSisterInstinct and MamaBear instinct and get Josh to stop acting carelessly and foolishly. Under Christmas' influence, both Paul and Josh tone down their aggressive and erratic behavior but this could be because Christmas is a lot older and more mature than the both of them.

** Jessica is Alex's main enemy in the entire game and has been since the very start. Her rivalry with Jessica is both game related and personal. Alex has made it clear that Jessica is her main enemy in the game because she had been targeting her and personally attacking her since the beginning of the game. On a personal level, much of Jessica's hatred towards Alex is because of petty jealousy over Alex's relationship with Cody. Alex's personal hatred of Jessica is based on the fact that she has constantly trash talked her and called her racist names (Pao Pao). On a game related level, they both dislike each other because they are two strong female personalities who clash and wanted each other out of the game.

* AsianAirhead: She fits the Type 1 category. Alex is a very bubbly and energetic LovableAlphaBitch. Despite her energetic, ditzy and bubbly personality, she is actually a lot smarter, manipulative and cunning than she lets on and she seems to have good game instincts.

* BehindEveryGreatMan: Alex is Paul's second in command with a strong influence on Paul and his game decisions. Paul is such a strong player because he's a excellent player with a very strong right hand woman in Alex.

* BigBadDuumvirate: Subverted with Jason. Since Jason and Alex are the most powerful duo still remaining in the game, they could be considered to this. However, in the bigger picture, Jason and Alex are mere CoDragons for Paul.

* TheBully: Alex's horrible treatment of Josh, Cody, Jessica, Kevin, Mark, Christmas, and Elena was noticed. She was a mean girl and showed no remorse for her actions. She displayed bullying behavior in Week 5 when she got into a major confrontation with Jessica. The fight between the two escalated to the point where the entire house got involved and led a giant bullying tirade against both Cody and Jessica. She even personally attacked Cody by calling him a disgrace to the marines and berated Jessica for being a disloyal person who threw all of her former allies under the bus. Alex continued to mistreat Cody in Week 7 when she ended up losing her shit on Cody over a box of cereal that Cody happened to eat (out of spite). Alex harassed him and intimidated him by using personal attacks that she knew would hurt Cody. She questioned if he really had a kid and how he was the one who was responsible for Jessica's demise in the game. Alex's tirade against Cody enticed the mob mentality of the house and the whole house ended up fighting with Cody to the point where they were ganging up on him unnecessarily. Alex's treatment towards Kevin was also bullying. He had done nothing to her on a personal or game level so her dislike of Kevin was IrrationalHatred. She has gone out of her way to be mean and petty to him such as when she purposely hid his slop from him in the storage room just because she wanted him to go hungry. Alex also claims that she doesn't like bullying during the Season Finale yet she doesn't seem to understand that she was also a bully as well and was part of the mob mentality that took place this season.

* AxeCrazy: Alex is normally harmless, but when she's set off into anger, she erupts like an unstable and chaotic volcano. Every time she gets angry, she looks like she's ready to punch someone, commit violence or murder someone with a kitchen knife. When Elena and Alex got into a huge fight in front of the house in Week 7 when Alex was confronting Elena for betraying her and breaking the promise that she made, Alex acted completely unstable, crazy and irrational that even Elena (and some of the other houseguest) were visibly scared of her and the way she was yelling and acting. And before that, she went completely batshit crazy or ballistic on Cody in front of everyone by yelling at him and personally attacking his character to humiliate him. Even Cody called her out and called her a lunatic for the way that she was reacting over a box of cereal. Although Alex appears to be a cool and friendly chick on the surface, she's anything but when she gets angry and unleashes that nasty, violent and aggressive side of her personality. Watch out, because Alex can get crazy!

* AxeCrazy: When Christmas is set off and gets really angry, she comes off as crazy, unstable and psychotic. She becomes almost unrecognizable because normally, Christmas is very calm, cool and collected. It's seriously a really unwise idea to think of getting her angry because she can fly off the handle very quick and when she does, her anger is fierce and ferocious. When she's really pissed off, she looks like she's about to murder someone!

* DontYouDarePityMe: Alex claims to hate people that cry or play the victim, but she has no issue with fake crying and trying to pass herself off as the victim when it suits her. In Week 11, she was criticizing and yelling at Josh for crying in front of her because he felt bad that he was sending her home. Alex told Josh to leave her alone while amidst Josh was shedding pity tears for her. She had also told Paul that she wanted Josh to stop crying and to give her space because she didn't think it was necessary for him to be crying over the fact that he was sending her home. Later on, she also finds out that Paul was also crying over the fact that he had to send her home. She then angrily rants at a camera calling Paul and Josh crybabies for feeling pity for her that they are voting her out. Alex said in so many words that she didn't want anyone to feel sorry for her, but at the same time, she's a bit of a hypocrite because she had an emotional breakdown and cried a bunch of BrokenTears so that she could [[PlayingTheVictimCard play the victim card]]. So which is it Alex? Either you hate people that cry and shed some tears and make themselves a victim or you like to use crying as a tactic to make yourself a victim because you believe it will benefit you somehow by manipulating other people using fake emotions.

* EntitledBitch: Alex was seriously the most entitled person of the season by far. She thought that she was better than or superior to everyone else. She thought that she was the strongest player of the season who deserved to go to the end and win more than anyone else. Alex had the belief in her head that her closest ally Jason was so undying loyal to her that he would be willing sacrifice his own game (a game for A LOT OF MONEY!!) so that she would win instead. She also berated Paul for not throwing his game away for her blowing his chances to get to the end by not using the POV on her and taking her to the Final 2. Did Alex seriously have such a spoiled, entitled mentality and outlook that she believed that she was too strong of a physical competitor to be taken out that close to the end of the game? If anything, it was her entitled attitude that cost her the chances of getting to the end and winning. Plenty of other houseguests have commented that they were very turned off by her petty and entitled attitude and that it only made them want to get rid of her even more. Alex acted like a bratty, entitled child whenever she didn't get her way.

* EvilIsPetty: She's the self-proclaimed "queen of petty" with the hat to prove it, and when Elena saddled her with a punishment and took $5,000 out from under her, it was on. And if that wasn't bad enough, when she talks about all the contestants who were evicted before Jury and how they handled being eviction she says Megan doesn't matter because "she fucked herself". Ahem, Megan went into POST-TRAUMATIC SHOCK! Wonder why Megan didn't come back to finale night? It's 'cause of you, sister!

** [[SmugSnake Arrogance]]: Alex was very arrogant in her behavior, believing that she was superior to many of the other houseguests. Her arrogant nature was exposed as early as Week 1 when she went on the attack against the other female houseguests by referring to them as inferior to her because they were "sluts", "skanks" and "whores" who wanted nothing more than to shack up with guys instead of playing the game. Alex may have had a point about not getting into a showmance but she felt that she was superior to the other women because she was being smarter than they were. Alex was also arrogant and smug about her abilities in competitions. She has frequently bragged about how strong of a female competitor she is and that she doesn't need anybody, especially a man, to help her in the game because she's so strong as it is. Even Jessica had commented in the first week that Alex couldn't stop gloating about the fact that she was only second to Cody in the Safety Competition. Alex also acted very smug and arrogant about how she's one of the only ones who deserves to win the game. She has frequently bragged about how she has a good chance of winning because the jury will respect her and her game. Other houseguests were annoyed with Alex and frequently referred to her as cocky and arrogant. Her arrogance gets the best of her, resulting in the demise of her game in Week 11. She was so arrogant and cocky to believe that if Paul won the POV, he would use it on her in attempts to save the both of them so that they could go to Final 2 together. Instead, Paul won the POV and decided to not use it on her and when she discovered this very fact, she completely lost it on Paul and had a huge emotional breakdown. Alex shouldn't have been so arrogant about her chances of staying in the game at this point, especially when it's down to the Final 5 with so little people to eliminate. Alex didn't seem to realize that she was a huge threat to make it to the end because she was such a strong competitor. Was Alex seriously arrogant and smug enough to believe that the others wouldn't take the opportunity to evict a strong competitor like Alex this close to the end?

** BrutalHonesty: Sometimes Alex is way too frank and honest. It was her over honesty that landed her on the block the first week. Instead of lying to Cody about who she would target or go after shall she get into power, she decided to be too honest by saying that she planned on going after all the showmances. Did Alex seriously think that was the right thing to do that early in the game, if at all? Alex also has a habit of saying exactly what is on her mind or how she feels. She doesn't sugarcoat anything and that's proven to be a major issue for Alex in the game. Sometimes Alex should have seriously learned to shut her mouth. But unfortunately for her, Alex can't seem to help herself because she does suffer from a case of MotorMouth and foot in mouth disease (something she even lampshades in her DR session).

** [[{{Hypocrite}} Hypocrisy]]: Alex has said that she hates people who lie and backstab other people in a game that is primarily about lying and backstabbing to begin with. But Alex has lied and backstabbed just as much as other people in the game. During the Jury Roundtable session with Dr. Will, Alex criticizes Paul for lying to and backstabbing her, but Dr. Will calls out by saying that she's also lied and backstabbed because like everyone else, she was in on many of the blindsides and evictions that took place this season. Alex rebuttals this by saying that she's never lied to anyone but Dr. Will rebuttals her again by asking if fake crying is considered to be a form of lying? Alex thinks it's not but Dr. Will believes that it is. The fact is that Alex may claim to hate people who lie and backstab in the game, m but she has no right to talk or judge anyone for lying and backstabbing considering that she's just as much of a liar and a backstabber as everyone else. So when it came to the lying and backstabbing aspect of the game, Alex was no angel. Other than that, Alex constantly criticized other houseguests, such as Cody and Jessica, for being mean to her and making everything personal. But she displayed the exact same behaviour with Cody, Jessica, Kevin and Paul. With Cody, she decided to make it personal when she attacked Cody's parenting skills and his relationship with Jessica simply because he ate her cereal. She relentlessly treated him cruelly even though Cody was the one who respected Alex and wanted to work with her for the entire game. She was also very mean to Jessica and made constant personal attacks against her out of jealousy and hatred. She was unnecessarily cruel in her treatment towards Kevin. She had an IrrationalHatred against him and bullied him constantly for no reason. And finally, she took Paul playing the game way too personally and she resorted to personally attacking Paul and acting bitter in the jury and when she voted for the winner. Alex has no room to speak about anyone being mean or displaying cruel behaviour towards her considering that she was one of the meanest and cruelest houseguests of the season who treated many people like garbage.

* FunnyBackgroundEvent: Notice how a lot of the guys (Paul, Josh, Kevin) start having fingernail polish on in the Diary Room and in general? That's all Alex's doing. Alex has started painting the guys' fingernails. House boredom much?

* GenreBlind: Apparently does not want to evict Paul despite the obvious target... then went from being on the "outside" with him to rubbing elbows with him. Obviously she's never seen [[Characters/BigBrother13 Season 13]] or [[Characters/BigBrother18 the previous season]], or even [[Characters/BigBrother16 Derrick's season]]. [[ObfuscatingStupidity Or has she?]]

* WaifFu: Alex is the smallest female houseguest but she is also the strongest female competitor in the game so far, a CuteBruiser and a PintSizedPowerhouse rolled into one.

* CoolLoser: Kevin is a CoolOldGuy who's fun loving, hip, and friendly. But does everyone in the house treat him kindly or nicely? The answer is no. in fact, despite him being a nice and charismatic guy who is willing to befriend everyone, people still do nothing but put him down and talk badly about him behind his back. One would think that a guy like Kevin would be the most popular, loved and well respected person in the house as he's done nothing but treat everyone with kindness and respect (even those who don't even deserve it), but it turns out that everyone has a dislike for him. Paul has pretended to be friends with Kevin to his face but in reality, he's been plotting to get rid of him for weeks despite the both of them being in an alliance since the beginning. Alex, for some strange reason, has an IrrationalHatred towards Kevin that cannot be understood or explained. She has bullied him, talked trash about him endlessly and unnecessarily picked on him to get under his skin. She had made her main mission to try to target him and get him out of the house even though Kevin has done nothing to warrant her hostility in the first place. Christmas has personally attacked Kevin and trash talked him endless on top of the fact that she's also wanted him out for no reason. Which is interesting because Kevin has been nothing but nice to Christmas and has been a loyal friend to her especially when she was going through such a difficult situation with her broken foot. Instead, she has constantly talked about how much she can't stand Kevin and how she doesn't trust him because she thinks that he is disloyal and shady. Josh has also talked about how much he doesn't like Kevin because he thinks that he's a shady flip flopper who has no loyalty to anyone in the game. The only people that had any kind of like for Kevin were Jessica and maybe Cody. Everyone else treated Kevin like he was a leper, which makes no sense because out of a house filled with such unpleasant personalities, Kevin was one of the nicest people and the most tolerable and not even a threat to begin with.

* CursedWithAwesome: So far, he's won $25,000 and a [[{{Zonk}} $27 bonus]] for taking temptations even though they had consequences attached. He doesn't seem to mind the fact brought Paul into the game, and most of the rest of the house is cool with it.

* NoDamageRun: For the first nine weeks, Kevin is the only houseguest who hasn't been put up on the block at any given time. Ironically, he's lost every challenge so far, too. Alex is trying to remedy the first part of this via a backdoor strategy, thinking he deserves to go up, but Jason got cold feet when he tried to pull it off, and Kevin could tell someone "put a bug in his ear" when Jason noted Kevin never going up on the block made him look suspicious, [[SchmuckBait so he should be a "pawn" at least once.]]

* PlayingTheVictimCard: Discussed. Josh notices Kevin has a suspicious habit of getting all buddy-buddy with doomed houseguests prior to their evictions and telling them how much he's been screwed over to gain their sympathy on the jury. Kevin has been doing that so many times it gets everyone's attention, while he believes he's done nothing wrong by playing the game strategically- though there is a ''mighty'' flaw in it. Is he forgetting that the jury has unsolicited access to the episodes in the Jury House and can see he's behaving all two-faced?

* WalkingShirtlessScene: Well, what do you expect from a lifelong tough-and-rumble Bostonian? He's gotten into the swing of removing his shirt at leisure (and once even strategically), showing off a beautifully toned body with lots of ink on display. It's also how he chooses to sleep at bedtime because he likes to apply a Saran wrap coating around his abs to keep them constantly clenched and expedite their muscular growth.
* WeaselWords: He claims everybody back in Boston is a man of their word like him... you ''sure'' about that? Can we get [[TheTrickster Derrick]] to corroborate that statement, or somebody bigger than an empty generalization of the Boston populace from just your point of view?

* AlphaBitch: She fits the Type 1 category. With Alex leaving in Week 11 and Christmas being the last woman standing, it's safe to say that she's become the final de facto bitch of the entire season. Christmas started off as a nice person and was more of a LovableAlphaBitch (a NiceGirl who had her bitchy, catty moments), but eventually, she became meaner in personality and her true colors came to shine. She's extremely confrontational and argumentative and she's been in fights with different houseguests. She's personally attacked Mark, Cody, Jessica and Dominique all at different times and hasn't felt any guilt or remorse for her attitude. Christmas insulted Cody and his military status, saying that he's an embarrassment and a disgrace to the military. She has repeatedly trash talked and insulted Jessica behind her back by calling her names even though she tried to pretend that she was nice and friendly to her. Christmas has yelled at Mark in front of the house and has called him a disloyal and dishonest person simply because Mark's game plans didn't match up with hers. Even though Josh is one of her closest allies, she treats him like crap and acts like TheBully or BigSisterBully towards him. Whenever Josh doesn't do what she wants or act the way she wants him to act, Christmas intimidates him through force or yelling. Josh has been visibly intimidated and scared overtime Christmas confronts him when she's mad at him to the extent that he backs away from her and flinches in fear. She's also repeatedly trashed Raven behind her back such as making fun of her stories and her illness and saying that she doesn't deserve any sympathy because of how she constantly plays victim (which may be true but it was still a highly unsympathetic and insensitive thing to say about someone). The only person that she hasn't mistreat in the house is Paul and that's because she has a strong soft spot for him. Overall, Christmas was originally thought to be a nice, affable person who was kind, caring and compassionate. But as time went on, Christmas became more and more mean and vicious in personality and she's not the person that she appeared to be at first. Whoever thought that nice, friendly, kind, compassionate Christmas would finish the season earning the title of the season's BIGGEST BITCH as one of her accomplishments?

* TheAntiNihilist: Christmas lives by the philosophy that someone should never cling to what is bothering them and they should never let anything negative bring them down. She also believes that life can be hard and terrible at times, but that nobody should dwell on it. Everyone has the chance to make something with their life no matter what. Even though Christmas broke her foot, she didn't choose to sit around and mope about it. Instead, she chose to stay in the game and fight because she doesn't believe in giving up. Despite having a serious injury that proved to be a huge obstacle for Christmas during the entire game, did anyone really ever hear her complain about how much her injury brought her down? Christmas chose to accept her injury and have fun in the game anyways.

* AwesomeMcCoolname: Christmas is named after the Christmas holiday. Plus her middle name is "Joye". If you say her first name and her last name, it becomes "Christmas Joy". It's obvious that Christmas was given her name because she was born five days before Christmas (December 20th). Even Paul lampshaded how cool her name was when he talked to the live feeders one the very first day that the live feeds had come on.

* LoveMakesYouStupid: Christmas has seriously contemplated on giving up her chance to get to the end and win the grand prize because she wants her two closest allies and best friends in Paul and Josh to take each other and have a chance at winning instead of her. Christmas even stupidly admitted to herself that she wouldn't mind being cut at Final 3 and Josh (or Paul) winning the Final HOH so that he can take Paul to the Final 2 so that Paul will have a better shot at winning in the end. Christmas, did you forget that you're also playing the same game that they are and that you are also in the running to win 500G's? Or did you forget that you're not on The [=Bachelor/The=] Bachelorette and that you're on Big Brother?

* AllGirlsWantBadBoys: Inverted. It was resident "bad boy" Cody that had a thing for Alex as he admitted to having an infatuation and respect for her. Cody had a VillainousCrush and eventually became obsessed with her to the extent that he became a StalkerWithACrush and a {{Yandere}} for her. Alex, on the other hand, didn't show any romantic interest in Cody and presumably only saw him as a friend. Later on, she began to show disdain towards Cody after he became a meaner person, indicating that Alex doesn't go for the bad boys, but instead, prefers a NiceGuy like Jason.

** After Jessica is evicted, Elena becomes Alex's new nemesis and target. Alex grew to dislike Elena because she realized that she was completely disloyal and untrustworthy when she broke a promise to Alex that they wouldn't curse each other in the POV competition. Elena went back on her word when she decided to take the $5,000 from Alex and give her the Camping Punishment in return. Alex continued to hold a grudge against Elena for her dishonesty and disloyalty and she made it her mission to get her out of the house. At one point during her HOH week, she even wanted to sway the house to vote out Elena over ''Cody'' who has been the number one target of the entire house for weeks. The fact that she wanted Elena out before someone as reviled as Cody shows how much Alex really disliked and hated Elena.

* BelievingTheirOwnLies: ''Somehow'' she got all the way to Jury thinking she never lied. Even when Elena made her admit to lying by principle of CrocodileTears, Alex said that was only lying based on ''Elena's'' standards. That comment was so rancid it made the great ''Will Kirby'', the Jury moderator, '''roll his eyes.''' As in the guy who prided himself in his ability to use lies to his advantage and never once tried to hide from them and won the game as such. He gave Alex a look that suggested, "since when does ''your'' shit not stink when I know mine does?"

* BigBadWannabe: Alex thought that she was so powerful and one of the best players of the season but she lacked a lot of different aspects that make a strong player. First of all, she may have been strong on a competitive basis, but she was extremely weak in other aspects of the game such as socially and strategically. Socially, she was not very nice to a lot of people and she got into constant fights with others. And strategically, she was very stupid and naive. She believed everything that Paul told her and followed him blindly. Alex had no idea about the concept of strategy in the game and needed assistance from Paul in order to have some sort of strategic gameplay. So, Alex may have wanted to be the superior player of the season, but really, she just came across as a desperate wannabe who was an AttentionWhore that was looking for constant affirmation from others. She also constantly asked for he audience and fans to vote for her to win America's Favorite Houseguest.

* DragonLady: Inverted and Subverted. Although Alex does have an aggressive and controlling personality, she doesn't use her sexuality to get further in the game. She is much more of an AsianAirhead as she comes across as TheDitz who has a bubbly and energetic personality.

* DumbMuscle: A Gender Inverted example. Alex is highly athletic and competitive. She's very strong competitively (she's won 3 HOH's and 1 POV after all). However, when it comes to strategy, Alex is completely blind and stupid. She is also easily influenced and manipulated and all of her "game moves" have been orchestrated or planned by Paul. Alex thinks that she has a brain and smarts in the game but she's nothing more than Paul's puppet who he can manipulate. Her only strength seems to be her athleticism and competitive prowess.

** [[KickTheDog Cruelty]]: Alex was mean towards other people for no reason. She treated Jessica terribly and constantly talked trash about her behind her back. Granted, Jessica disliked Alex, but Alex frequently went below the belt when it came to Jessica. In Week 5, she had little problem with humiliating Jessica in front of the entire house when she got into a major fight with her. She tried to blame Jessica for her stealing her cat ears and pouring out her Coke, even though she wasn't responsible for it (it was Raven). She went on to humiliate Jessica by saying that she threw everyone that she was "aligned" with under the bus and attempted to make her seem dishonest and disloyal. At the time, Jessica had already been kicked down enough with Josh and Paul harassing her and bullying her. Her IrrationalHatred of Jessica led Alex to conduct very hateful, cruel, and mean behavior towards her for the time period that Jessica was still in the house. Alex was extra mean in her Goodbye Message to Jessica in which she taunted her for not making it to jury and that now that Jessica was out of the house, Alex would keep an eye on Cody and "watch him for her" (knowing that one of Jessica's biggest insecurities in the game was Cody and Alex's relationship). Alex completely intended to be mean in her message and break Jessica down even more than she already was. She was also very mean to Cody on personal level, even though Cody spent the majority of the game trying to be nice to her and have a degree of loyalty to her. She personally attacked Cody in front of the entire house in attempts to humiliate and embarrass him by insulting his parenting skills (questioning whether he really had a kid) and taunting him about how he's the cause of Jessica's demise in the game. The funny thing? She acted this cruelly to Cody ''over a box of cereal''. Simply because Cody ate the entire box of cereal by himself. Granted, Alex had a right to be mad about that because [[WomanScorned Cody did what he did to spite her]], but the way she retaliated by throwing very cruel, harsh personal attacks Cody's war was very unnecessary. She's also been very mean to Kevin for no good solid reason. Not only has she constantly bashed him, she has resorted to unnecessarily picking on him. In Week 10, she decided to be cruel to Kevin by taking his slop (Kevin was a Have Not for the week), and choosing to hide it from him in the storage room so that Kevin would starve and be hungry. When Alex and the rest of the house were drinking alcohol, Alex didn't want to share any of her beer with Kevin. Kevin has commented how Alex is a very rude and mean person, so he doesn't like her on a personal level. Her cruelty towards Kevin has been based on nothing more than IrrationalHatred towards him since he's done nothing to her on a personal or game related level the entire time.

* HatedByAll: Alex isn't completely hated or disliked by everyone in the house on the same level that Raven, Jessica or Cody are, but as of later weeks, she is starting to wear thin on the other houseguests and she's morphed into someone extremely unlikeable. The other houseguests have commented that they find Alex to be way too arrogant, cocky, and abrasive in the way that she acts and behaves. Paul has stated that although he likes Alex on a personal level and has been aligned with her since the start, she is becoming increasingly annoying because of her smugness and arrogance. Raven has commented that she's not the biggest fan of Alex because she finds her very arrogant and conceited. It should also be noted that Raven hated Alex at the start and she acted very petty towards her. Raven resorted to calling her "Pao Pao", stealing her cat ears and hiding them, and pouring out her Coke because she disliked her so much. Kevin also dislikes Alex on a personal level because he thinks that she is selfish, arrogant, and mean spirited. He also doesn't like her on a game level because she has been targeting him in the game. Jason is close friends and allies with Alex, but he's even complained to other houseguests that he doesn't care for her abrasive and confrontational behavior and that it's starting to turn him off to the point where he's distancing himself from her. Josh doesn't dislike Alex personally, but he does view her as a threat and is therefore adamant about getting her out of the house. The only one that seems to tolerate Alex as of Week 10 is Christmas, and even she doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of Alex and her arrogant behavior. Interesting how everyone was against Alex at the start of the game when she was the underdog and seemed like she didn't deserve it, but now that she's no longer the underdog with the entire house against her, the other houseguests disliking her has become completely warranted due to the poor behavior she's displayed. She's also one of the lowest-ranked However, she does address it on Instagram when we find out that she hasn't spoken to Paul since the game because she actually wanted to go after Paul at the endgame and didn't have the heart to get rid of him until she absolutely had to, but Paul didn't share her sentiment and she felt angry at him for not doing a friendly elimination on good terms because being a gamer herself, she doesn't like it when you cheat to get to the end because it doesn't feel rewarding and wanted to have an ally she knew wouldn't be willing to cut her down, thinking Paul was that person because she watched the last season thinking Paul wasn't the kind of person to go after his own allies on purpose because and only took out the people who made the house a bad place for everyone else, so she screwed over Paul for not playing nobly. Also, in her afterparty interview with Dr. Will, she admits "Alex is scared of the Big Brother house" and needs time to recover when he tosses at her the idea of returning again, which essentially means she's in a HeroicSafeMode and people realized she wanted to give Paul a taste of his own medicine for taking advantage of her innocence/naivete in the game just for kicks.
* HateSink: Alex is probably one of the most loathsome and destestable players of the entire season. She's so detestable and unlikeable that she gives Natalie Martinez (from Big Brother 11) a serious run for her money as to who's the most unlikeable houseguest in recent seasons. Alex is extremely mean, bitter and petty and she has shown to be a very nasty individual. She has constantly talked trash about every single person in the house and shows zero guilt or remorse about it. She has mistreated numerous houseguests and has bullied them for no good reason. She has treated people like Kevin and Jessica horribly and has not felt bad about her actions. She also claims to hate lying but has no issue with lying herself if she knows that it will benefit her and her game somehow. In many ways, Alex is a hypocrite. Her bitterness and nasty behavior during the time when she got evicted did nothing to help with her likability. She came accross as a SoreLoser when she spitefully voted for Josh over Paul because she couldn't get over Paul playing the game and not taking her to the end. Alex is one of the most unlikeable, hate worthy and detestable houseguests in recent years and she could easily be one of the most hate worthy players in Big Brother history along with the likes of Natalie Martinez ([=BB11=]), Frankie Grande ([=BB16=]), Austin Matelson ([=BB17=]), Adam Jasinski ([=BB9=]), Andy Herron ([=BB15=]), [=GinaMarie=] Zimmerman ([=BB15=]), Amanda Zuckerman ([=BB15=]), and Aaryn Gries ([=BB15=]). Yeah, she's just ''that'' horrible.

* TomboyishName: Alex's actual full first name is ''Alexandra'' which is undoubtedly feminine and the feminine version of ''Alexander'' but she prefers to go by Alex, which is considered to be a [[GenderBlenderName unisex name]].

* TooDumbToLive: Alex is by far and large considered to be one of the dumbest players to have ever made the final five, if not even played the entire game. She believed she's in control of the game, yet never seemed to put two and two together that Paul has been calling the shots, or that the target was never going. After Paul lied to her face that he wasn't going after her, she not only bought his [[BlatantLies obvious tie gambit]], but used her second head of household during the double eviction to target Kevin, just because [[SitcomArchNemesis she hated him]], and nominated Raven, because [her vote to evict Jason. The fact that Christmas cast the tiebreaker vote didn't even cross her head. Alex fixated on evicting Kevin, to the point where she nominated him as a serious target, and was shocked when he didn't go home. She saw nothing wrong with this. Worse still, Kevin showed no indication of wanting to go after her. Alex adamantly believed Paul was taking her to the final two. Even when Paul didn't use the veto on her and that Christmas's other "ally" in the game (Josh) was head of household (thus would cast the deciding vote). She saw nothing wrong with that, and didn't even bring up the notion of evicting Kevin or Christmas (which would weaken Josh) or force a tie (Which would still get Kevin out). Alex admitted to following Paul without question, even after Jason was evicted. She repeatedly threw competitions because Paul told her to. With this level of incompetence, it's amazing she even made Jury! However, after all this, Alex did do ''one'' smart move: she flipped the jury vote by being the one person who did not let Paul win because she felt personally slighted by him while everyone else shook it off. She managed to redeem herself quite a bit in doing that, and the season itself in general, because she ensured it wasn't a GenreBlind mess like with Derrick and Season 16.

* WomanScorned: If anyone fits the saying "Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned!", then Alex is the poster child for it! Alex DID NOT take it well at all when she found out that she was going home in Week 11 and that Paul, the person that she trusted the most next to Jason, had betrayed her for Josh and Christmas. After finding out that Paul wasn't choosing to bring her to the Final 2 and was instead dragging Kevin, Josh and Christmas to the end with him, Alex reacted extremely bitterly and lashed out at every single person that tried to talk to her. Alex was so angry at Paul that she went on an angry, bitter tirade and rant at the camera outside for nearly half an hour. She constantly stated that she was extremely bitter because Paul betrayed her and how she hated everyone in the house because of what Paul did to her. Alex also lashed out at Josh because of Paul's betrayal and told him to stop crying in front of her and to get out of her space. When she was evicted, Alex was so bitter that she didn't even hug or say goodbye to anyone as she left the house. She then went on to say in her exit interview with Julie Chen that she was very bitter towards Paul because he played a shady game due to betraying her and not being the friend that she thought he was. Alex's bitterness ran so deep that she managed to be the one person who completely fucked over Paul at the final vote, because she chose Josh due to the fact he stabbed her from the front and not the back, and was ''still'' unwilling to be friends with Paul if he didn't admit this was part of the game.
* {{Yandere}}: Alex had an obsessive BlindObedience and UndyingLoyalty to Paul. It extended from her obsessive admiration and HeroWorship of him. Alex was also extremely dependent on Paul in the game to the extent that she was even willing to cut Jason so that she could go to Final 2 with Paul like she wanted. She even stated that her Big Brother game was so dependent on Paul that she said that Paul was her one chance to get to the end and have a chance to win. Alex took her alliance with Paul ''so'' seriously that when she found out that he was not as loyal to her as she had thought, she became a serious WomanScorned. She shed out at Paul and everyone in the house and remained extremely bitter during her last moments in the house. She ended up taking out her bitterness on Paul by turning the jury against him. She got her {{Revenge}} against Paul when in the Final 2, she casted her vote for Josh to win over Paul. That one vote that Paul lost in Alex could have been the major deciding factor in Paul winning $500,000. But because of how Alex was extremely bitter over Paul betraying her, she decided to violently lash out at Paul emotionally by acting scorned and not giving him her vote in the end. Talk about a WomanScorned!

* TheAce: Subverted. Originally, it seemed that Kevin was one of the better players in the game. He had a very excellent social game and a solid strategic game. The only aspect in the game that he was lacking was the competitive aspect. His social game was so strong that he got along with everyone in the house (even Cody and Jessica!) and nobody was actively targeting him. In addition, he also earned $25,000 after taking the temptation and nobody had known about it for weeks with the exception of Josh and Paul (and he had sworn both to secrecy). Come Week 7 onwards and Kevin's game starts to take a serious decline. His social game starts to suffer, he's deemed untrustworthy, sketchy and shady by the other houseguests, his secret about earning $25,000 is outed by Paul and spread around the house, all of the other houseguests believe that he's a liar and he's disloyal, he's constantly shunned and ostracized by the other houseguests, and he's become one of the main active targets in the house. Kevin was teflon at the beginning of the game but it all started to go downhill from there.

* BreakoutCharacter: Kevin has always been one of the most popular houseguests of the season. He's found himself on the top of all of the favorite houseguest polls. If he doesn't make it to the Final 2, it's a very high probability that he could win the America's Favorite Houseguest prize or at least be in the Top 3 of houseguests to win it. Considering that he's one of the nicest houseguests in the house who has played the game in the cleanest way possible, this is no surprise.

* BrokenPedestal:
** For at least one Twitter fan. When his duplicitous nature was revealed, their live tweet read, "Nooo, Kevin! WHY!?"
** To Jessica, who adored him from day one. When he had that vicious hash-slinging fight with Josh in the house, Jessica remarked in one of her post-eviction livestreams that she was very heartbroken by what Kevin said and would pull him aside after the game and have a very intense heart-to-heart with him.

* DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu: Oh yes he diiiid! He gave an astounded three middle fingers to the Zingbot because he saw no reason to just sit there and worship a giant robot, let alone just stand there and take insults from one, and Mark even joked that Kevin had mob connections, and if he found his car keys, they might have found Zingbot at the bottom of the ocean.

** NobleTopEnforcer: Kevin is significantly nicer than Paul. Paul is more cutthroat and ruthless in his approach in the game while Kevin is more affable and down to earth in his approach. In many ways, he's way more moral and upstanding than Paul. While Paul is willing to resort to some pretty nasty and dirty tactics in order to get farther in the game, Kevin isn't willing to go to the same lengths that Paul is. Kevin doesn't seem to be into using intimidation and bullying tactics in the same way that Paul is. In fact, Kevin has even managed to tell Paul in a subtle manner that he isn't always a fan of the behavior and actions that Paul takes in the game and he's also frequently called out other houseguests for poor behavior and attitudes. Out of many houseguests who are either cruel, manipulative or unlikeable, Kevin is by far one of the nicest despite his loyalties being to Paul.

** VillainousFriendship: Not only is Kevin close with Paul on a game level, he's also close with him on a personal level. Since the start of the game, Paul and Kevin have a very close bond and have a father-son relationship. Kevin frequently looks out for Paul like a son while Paul views Kevin as somewhat of a father figure in the house. They constantly give each other advice about personal things as well as game related things and they are incredibly supportive of one another.

* GoodParents: Kevin is a FamilyMan and he has a very close relationship with his children. He's so attached to his family that he becomes incredibly homesick during the game when he actually has a breakdown because he misses his family so much. According to his children's comments on social media, they have nothing but good things to say about their father and they look up to him and admire him for being such a good father and a very kind and loving person.
* GracefulLoser: Kevin took his eviction extremely well and went out in a very classy manner unlike Cody, Jason and Alex who were all a SoreLoser and left the house very bitter. Something tells us that Kevin should seriously tell the rest of the jurors, especially the ones that are bitter, that they need to get over themselves and realize that it's only a game!

* MotorMouth: Once he gets going, he simply cannot stop himself from blabbing. Kevin is especially talkative if it's something that he's highly passionate about. He rivals Paul with regards to how much and how fast he talks. No wonder the two of them were such close friends and allies in the game; they were both blabber mouths!

** FourIsDeath: After Jason's second HOH reign came to an end, Kevin went from never being on the block to ''always'' being on the block, 4 times in one week, and the last time finished his game, much like how Matt went out. But Kevin at the very least has something to show for his time in the house (money!) while Matt ate his one and only reward and that was that.

* SoreLoser: Averted ''big time'' when he's evicted, especially in comparison to how some of the other houseguests went out this season. Kevin could seriously give lessons on how to make a graceful exit.

* TooDumbToLive: ''Threw'' the Veto at final five... when ''he'' was on the block. Big Brother 101 says never ''ever'' do that.
** Revealed at the final four that he was following Paul's word the ''entire game''.
* UnpopularPopularCharacter: The house seems to hate him. Meanwhile he, Cody, Ramses, and Jessica are the only ones the viewers seem to like. In fact, he was well-liked the ''entire season'' - Cody, Jessica, Mark, and Ramses (the only others) didn't become liked until much later.

* WildCard: Subverted - he ''seemed'' to be this way, but ManipulativeEditing showed that he was following Paul's words to the dot. Perhaps the only time he did play this was when he told Jessica that Ramses was going to be evicted.

* TheAce: Subverted. It was originally expected that Christmas would be the strongest and most invincible female in the house this season because of her athletic background. Unfortunately for her, breaking her foot rendered her a BrokenAce. Saddled with such a horrible injury, she was no longer able to use her athletic abilities in competitions. She felt incredibly useless because of it, which in turn, caused Christmas to feel a host of negative emotions such as sadness and anger.

* AllAmazonsWantHercules: Inverted. Christmas may be muscular, athletic and an ActionGirl, but it seems that the type of men that she finds herself attracted to are the complete opposite of her. Her real life fiancé isn't athletic at all. And her attraction to Paul, who is smaller and less muscular than she is (he's still not completely scrawny though).

* BaitTheDog: Christmas appeared to be a nice girl for the most part. However, her true colors came out and she showed that she does have a very nasty, catty and petty side to her personality. It's surprising to see that Christmas, who was once thought of to be the nicest and kindest houseguests in the game, later turned out to be completely mean and nasty with time. Much of the dramatic and negative change in her personality had much to do with her UndyingLoyalty to Paul and how much influence he had on her personality. Christmas was willing to reach out to everyone in the house and extended kindness and compassion, but as time went on and she became more and more corrupted by Paul and his manipulations, she started to deviate away from everyone and started to only care about herself, Paul and Josh. She also took party to much of the bullying in the house. She bullied Cody and personally attacked him by saying that he was a disgraceful marine and that she had no respect for him despite serving the country. And she was also a bit of a bully towards Josh. She constantly mistreated him and yelled at him when he didn't do what she wanted. She became more and more of an AlphaBitch with time and by the season's end, she was barely recognizable to the person that she started the season as. As a result of the extreme negative changes in both her personality and her behavior in the game, her popularity outside of the house has dramatically declined and there isn't as much support for her that there used to be at the start of the game or pre season.

* BeingEvilSucks: Towards the end of the season, Christmas starts to fear that her behavior has been inappropriate or unfavorable to the fans. She has a fear that she may be perceived negatively on the outside and that her fans or followers may have changed their perception or opinion of her because of the negative way that she has acted throughout the game. Christmas also says that she hopes that she's not being portrayed as a villain or a character that is a bully. Unfortunately for her, Christmas had not realized how far she had descended to TheDarkSide and she was even oblivious to some of her bad behavior.

* TheBigGirl: Subverted. Christmas isn't overly tall in terms of height, but she is very big boned and muscular in terms of her body type. Going by her body type and her athleticism, it's assumed that she is the physically strongest and toughest female houseguest of the season. Christmas is also extremely athletic and a bruiser. However, she subverts this simply because she didn't get a chance to showcase her athleticism and her competitiveness because she got such a horrible injury to her foot. If Christmas wasn't physically injured, there's no doubt that Christmas would have been the strongest female competitor this season and would have probably beaten out Alex in terms of winning competitions.

* BornUnlucky: Christmas got a poison apple and thrown up on the block at the start of the game, then Cody chose her just because he couldn't pick Paul for the block, then she got her foot broke and had to have surgery and then had to sit out about half the competitions she's in and forced to lose until she gets out of her cast and in a medical boot and putter around on a medical scooter and crutches, and ''then'' learned her best friend's dog passed on from stomach cancer during the game when she won her second HOH... Poor Christmas!!!
* BrainlessBeauty: Subverted. Christmas is an AmazonianBeauty and a MsFanservice who is physically attractive and appealing. However, despite her attractiveness, she's actually rather smart and intuitive. She also has a reasonably strong strategic game and has rather good game instincts.

* BreakoutCharacter: Subverted. Christmas was originally one of the most popular and well liked houseguests pre season and during the beginning of the game. However, her popularity has taken a nosedive and she's now one of the least popular houseguests. She's consistently at the bottom of all of the Big Brother popularity rankings or polls, such as Jokers Updates Ratings or Big Brother Daily Rankings. Interestingly enough, Christmas used to be at the top (or at least in the Top 3 or Top 5) of all of the [=BB19=] Houseguest popularity rankings, ratings or polls. But since she has aligned with the BigBad Paul and has become a much more aggressive and mean person under his influence, her popularity declined severely and it never fully recovered.

* ChekhovsGun: She gets the Ring of Replacement after being injured, because America feels downright awful that she was hurt so bad. Christmas decides to tell Paul about it in case it will become useful later on, then hangs on to it until halfway through the game, when Paul coaxes her into using it to stop Cody from doing anything to prevent Jessica from leaving the game. However, she's also working with Josh as his {{CoDragon|s}} the week he has HOH privilege, and waits an unnervingly long time for a subtle signal to use it (a blink from Josh) that has Paul silently freaking out for him to "Just blink!" ([=#JustBlink=]) He resigns to blinking, even though he dislikes the idea of having two people in the jury pool who would surely vote against him once they get thrown out of the game.

* CoolShades: When she wins her second HOH, she receives a set of purple-toned aviators from home as part of her gift basket and dons a sort of neo-hippie look to have some fun. She lets Josh wear them a couple of times... at least until she makes him fork them over " because you're being a ''fucking'' DICK!" He then proceeds to take Alex's HOH glasses while Christmas tells a story about how they remind her of the yellow-tinted shades she had as a pit crew member on NASCAR and how people would paint their lug nuts bright pink or yellow and wear these glasses to make them easier to see.

* DarkIsNotEvil: Inverted. Christmas commonly doesn't wear darker or black clothing. Instead, she seems to wear much lighter or brighter coloured clothing, which indicates that she's more of a case of LightIsNotGood.

* TheDreaded: When Christmas gets angry or fired up, you better watch out! She becomes beyond threatening, intimidating and scary when she is angry to the extent that she becomes almost unrecognizable. Josh has commented that he finds Christmas really scary and threatening when she gets mad, so he walks on eggshells when he's in her presence because he doesn't want to do anything that may cause Christmas to blow her top off. Even Cody, who doesn't get intimidated or threatened by anything or anyone, had commented that he found Christmas slightly intimidating when she confronted him the very first week after he put her on the block. It was obvious by Cody's expression and body language that while talking to a very angry Christmas after he nominated, he was intimidated by her presence as she was calling him out. He was even left tongue tied and speechless and had to end the conversation abruptly because he felt uncomfortable.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: Christmas has claimed that she fears the jury will not respect her and her game because she wasn't able to compete on the same level as the other houseguests due to her serious injury. She has a fear that nobody will respect that she came this far in the game not because she was dragged to the end by Paul and Josh but because she had a reasonably solid game in her own right. She gets angry at the idea she's being viewed as a cripple being spoiled for her injury; when she is the final evictee of the season and the final jury member, Christmas throws away her crutch in a symbolic and rather dramatic toss to show that she is no longer defined by her injury (and the fact that the jurors said she had a "cripple pass" makes it all the more awesome and in their face to watch).
* DumbBlonde: Inverted. Christmas is a blonde, but she breaks the stereotypes of blondes being ditzy and dumb. In fact, Christmas has very good game instincts and she's a rather smart person. She's also highly intuitive and she has used her smarts and her game instincts to make it as far as she has in the game. Since Christmas has been limited in the competitive aspect of the game, she has had to rely on being strategic and using her game instincts to make the right moves for herself and her allies. So far, she's proven that she's a lot smarter than she looks and that she's not a DumbJock or DumbBlonde by any means.
* DumbJock: Inverted and subverted. Because Christmas is such an athletic person, it would automatically be assumed that she's nothing more than a female meathead who relies on her muscles to get by. However, Christmas is actually much smarter and much more savvy than her appearance makes her come off. Although she's a tough competitor and is very physically strong, she's no slouch in the brains department either. She is quite strong strategically, is highly intuitive, and has a pretty good read on the game and the house.
* EmotionlessGirl: Subverted or Inverted. Christmas appears as [[IceQueen aloof and distant]]. But in reality, it's nothing more than a facade. In reality, she is actually rather HotBlooded and overly emotional. She has more of a SugarAndIcePersonality and she can be a DefrostingIceQueen depending on who she's interacting with. There's some people that she will appear cold towards such as Cody for example, but there are other people who she will show her vulnerable and emotional side to such as Paul and Josh for example.

* EvilFeelsGood: Subverted. Christmas has been somewhat ruthless and cutthroat in her treatment towards the other houseguests in the game, but there are plenty of times when she feels bad or feels guilty for hurting other people. The only time when Christmas doesn't show any guilt or remorse for hurting others is those that she's not aligned with, those she doesn't personally like or get along with, or those that she seems as her enemies. For example, Christmas has felt bad about sending Mark and Jason home, but she didn't feel bad about sending people like Cody, Jessica and Dominique home because they were not allies to her. Evil on feels good when it's someone she doesn't like or someone who she considers to be her enemy.

** Her [[TheResenter Resentment]]. If someone has wronged Christmas then she will resent them for good. She has a very hard time forgiving people for doing her wrong. Christmas couldn't let go of her resentment towards Cody. Cody was the one to betray her by nominating her and blindsiding her. This severely angered Christmas and she NEVER got over what Cody did. Because of her resentment towards Cody, she made it her mission to get back at Cody by personally attacking him and trying to get him out of the house. Because of Christmas' inclination to hold resentment against those who have deliberately done wrong to her, it's a very unwise idea to break her trust or betray her in any way, shape, or form. Christmas is the definition of "Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned!"

* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: Downplayed. Christmas doesn't inflict physical violence on Josh by hitting him or slapping him (after all, physical violence is forbidden in the Big Brother house no matter how angry and upset people get!) but she will often give Josh a verbal tongue lashing or verbal slap telling him to snap put of his emotional and impulsive behavior. She frequently gave these out kinds of lectures to Josh, who constantly used to have endless emotional breakdowns, DespairEventHorizon[=s=] and FreakOut[=s=]. Christmas would be the one to comfort Josh and tell him that it was going to be okay and that he just had to stop letting his emotions take control of him so that it doesn't affect his game. Sometimes her lectures would seem super aggressive but Christmas felt that she had to be somewhat tough and aggressive towards Josh in order to snap him out of his funk and get him back on track. Many times, Christmas' verbal smackdowns towards Josh have benefited him in the long run.

* GoodIsNotNice: Christmas is usually nice to everyone...just don't get on her bad side by crossing her, betraying her or making an enemy out of her. If one makes an enemy out of her, she can become quite nasty and vicious! This is later inverted as Christmas becomes more of a villain in the later weeks. Christmas appears to be nice and friendly, but is actually mean underneath the friendly facade.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Played Straight and Inverted. She's kind, compassionate, caring and affable to those she considers to be her friends or allies but she's cutthroat and ruthless when it comes to her enemies or people that she doesn't personally like or trust. Inverted later on as she started to become more and more villainous as the season progresses. It turns out that she can be ruthless and mean even to those that she's friends with. Her treatment and interactions with Josh have proven that no matter who it is, Christmas doesn't stand for people who screw up.

* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Subverted. At first, it appeared as Christmas was a kind, noble and caring individual. Unfortunately, she revealed herself to be a major BitchInSheepsClothing. As time passed, she revealed herself to be a catty, bitchy mean girl who wasn't as nice as she tried to come across as. Instead, she can be very mean and vicious and has even veered into bullying territory. Christmas is not filled with as much "joy" as one would believe.

* HotBlooded: Christmas is normally very calm, cool and collected, but she has shown a very feisty, aggressive side to her personality whenever she is provoked into anger or irritation. She also has a very fiery temper and can lash out at others easily. Fortunately, Christmas is also easily placated. A huge example of her hot headed and impulsive personality was on display in the first week after Cody decided to put her on the block after betraying his alliance and Paul and Christmas int he process. Christmas was so angry and fired up at Cody that she stormed into his HOH room and yelled at him for going back on his word about sticking with the alliance that he chose to put together all the way to Jury. When Cody tried to backtrack on his loyalty to Christmas, Christmas lambasted him and embarrassed him to the point where he couldn't even speak. Cody knew that he was no match for a angry and fired up Christmas so he asked her to leave his room. She also got incredibly fired up and angry about Raven embellishing things about her real life, especially about her illnesses. She went off on a rant to Paul about how much it bothers her that Raven is using her illness to garner sympathy from others in order to make them feel guilty and sorry for her. She got mad about Raven claiming that she knows everything about breast cancer when she doesn't and it strikes a nerve in Christmas because her mother had suffered from breast cancer. One thing that set Christmas off was Raven constantly talking about her illnesses and making up stories that are so unrealistic just because she wants to one up people around her and to make herself look like the victim. Finally, Christmas' violent temper was shown in regards to Josh when Josh ever decided to talk against Paul or question him. There was a conversation that happened between Christmas and Josh where Josh was questioning Paul's loyalty and his game moves, but Christmas was so irritated and started yelling at Josh. Josh then left the conversation but Christmas wasn't done talking to Josh to continue to yell at him so she ended up following him into a room and calling him a f-ck boy for ignoring her and walking away from her when she was talking to him. This showed that Christmas is not to be messed with when she is angry. Despite her vicious temper however, she is rather easily placated and she does calm down easily after a while. But just don't set her off, because she has a larger than life temper!

* IronButtMonkey: Subverted. Even though Christmas appears as if she is this super strong AmazonianBeauty who is like ''Franchise/WonderWoman'', it was proven to not be the case after she broke her foot. Despite being physically strong, active and athletic, she's anything but unbreakable. Christmas ended up breaking a total of 10 bones in her foot and she was an invalid for the entire season. She had to use crutches and scooter to have any sense of mobility and she didn't have the ability to compete on the same level as the other houseguests–she was appeared as if she were useless in the game and that she wasn't contributing to the game as much as she wanted to.

* LadySwearsALot: Jesus Christmas... no, really, ''Jesus'', Christmas! Most of the words that pass from her lips are swears, even in casual conversation. There is never a time where she is not letting a ClusterFBomb tumble out of her mouth. The mouth of this tomboy is one in desperate need of some {{soap|Punishment}}.

* LivingEmotionalCrutch: To Josh. Christmas has been there for Josh since the beginning. She would often be the one to talk down an overly wild and emotional Josh down from the brink. Christmas is a BigSisterMentor for Josh. She gives him advice about life and game related things. Despite Christmas' BigSisterInstinct attitude towards Josh, sometimes she can veer into BigSisterBully territory when she is lecturing Josh -- especially when Josh frustrates or irritates her (which is a lot!). Their relationship can also be perceived as somewhat codependent with Josh constantly seeking Christmas' approval and coming across as an ExtremeDoormat for her and Christmas coming off as TheBully who is much too authoritarian towards him and dictates every single thing to him as if she is the one who has complete and total dominance and control over him. Because of their codependent dynamic, some people have commented that they find Josh and Christmas' relationship to be highly problematic and even abusive.

* MeaningfulName: "Christmas Joy(e)". Why she's named Christmas because she's born during the Christmas or holiday season, being born exactly five days before Christmas (December 20th). Her middle name only emphasizes this as one of the common quotes that's stated during Christmas time is Christmas Joy!

* MusclesAreMeaningful: Subverted. Christmas may be very muscular, toned and athletic, but since she has a serious injury in her foot, her athleticism and muscular physique have done nothing to help her competitively or physically in the game. Christmas' athleticism and muscles would have held more value for her benefited her more in the game if she didn't have a broken foot and wasn't walking around with a cast, crutches or a scooter all season.

* OnlyFriend: To Paul. This is later on subverted when nearly the ''entire'' house becomes Paul's friend and ally. Despite Paul befriending everyone in the house, Christmas (and Josh) still remains as Paul's closest friend and ally.

* TooDumbToLive: Does not notice anything at ''all'' up with the fact that she had to argue with Paul over who they wanted out. It even culminated in Week 5 when she told Josh to evict her at Final 3 and take Paul because she felt Paul deserved to win. The viewers were so shocked at this, they [[PoesLaw thought people were making fun of how stupid she was]], but it turned out to be true.

* WrenchWench: Christmas was the very first female to be a part of the NASCAR pit crew meaning that she's mechanical and has a love of fixing cars. As a NASCAR pit crew member, she has lugged around 65 lb. tires! Christmas has stated that she loves being a pit crew member because she loves the adrenaline rush of it. She also knows how to change tires within minutes. Christmas has said that although she loves being feminine, she's not afraid to get a little greasy and dirty from time to time and changing tires does that.

* AlasPoorVillain: Although the majority of the Big Brother audience didn't mourn for Alex's eviction or care that she was gone, the rest of the houseguests (except Kevin) were actually saddened by Alex leaving the house. Paul and Josh especially were very upset about her leaving to the point where the both of them ended up crying over it. Josh was extremely upset that he had to cut Alex that during eviction when he made the tiebreaker vote to evict her, he could barely talk because he was so upset and distraught. Paul was also incredibly saddened by her leaving that he ended up bawling to Josh and Christmas, feeling terrible that he let her down and finding ti hard to hold it together when Alex had a breakdown in front of him. In his DR, Paul said that it was extremely hard to send Alex home because he really does like and care about her on a personal level, but that he had to make that move because it was getting to close to the end and he couldn't repeat his mistake from last year by having a strong player like Alex get to the end and win. So while the audience celebrated Alex leaving because she's unpopular outside of the house, the houseguests felt bad about her eviction, especially Josh, Paul and even Christmas at one point.

* BelligerentSexualTension: With Cody, according to some of the fans. Cody is noticeably affable, friendly, and more vulnerable around her but Alex is more of a {{Tsundere}} with a SugarAndIcePersonality when it comes to Cody. Sometimes Alex is very friendly and playful towards Cody and other times, she's very antagonistic and sarcastic towards him. Some interpret their interactions as friendly flirting.

* BigBadWannabe: Alex thought that she was so powerful and one of the best players of the season but she lacked a lot of different aspects that make a strong player. First of all, she may have been strong on a competitive basis, but she was extremely weak in other aspects of the game such as socially and strategically. Socially, she was not very nice to a lot of people and she got into constant fights with others. And strategically, she was very stupid and naive. She believed everything that Paul told her and followed him blindly. Alex had no idea about the concept of strategy in the game and needed assistance from Paul in order to have some sort of strategic gameplay. So, Alex may have wanted to be the superior player of the season, but really, she just came across as a desperate wannabe who was an AttentionWhore that was looking for constant affirmation from others. She also constantly asked for he audience and fans to vote for her to win America's Favorite Houseguest when she didn't even do anything to deserve such a prize or privilege. Alex was not only a crappy villain, she was just a plain wannabe all-around.

* CardCarryingVillain: Inverted. Alex is a villain but she doesn't seem to realize that she's a villain. She thinks that she is one of the good guys and that she is well liked by the audience and the fans. She thinks that her treatment of Kevin has been justified when in fact, she has come off as a major bully towards him because of her IrrationalHatred.

* CharacterShilling: People loved to talk about how strong of a player and competitor Alex is and how passionate she is about the game, but she was an inferior player at the end of it all. Her competitive prowess was more of a InformedAttribute. Even though she did win a few HOH's, the other aspects of her game were significantly weak. Her social game was abysmal and she constantly talked trash about nearly every single houseguest. She frequently engaged in altercations and fights with others and felt no remorse for her actions. And strategically, Alex was the stupidest player by far. She was TooDumbToLive and had no sense of strategy to her game. She was so dumb that she needed to rely on Paul to help her in the game, which she argued ''against'' at the start of the season. Cody constantly referred to Alex as "Wonder Woman" and as the best female player in the game. But she was anything but and the majority of fans didn't believe in her strong gameplay either. Many fans actually disliked Alex because she was such a weak, terrible player that was horrible socially and strategically. It wasn't enough for the audience to get over her strong competitiveness since her social and strategic game was so awful.

* FallenHero: Alex started out as a good houseguest but she eventually descends deeper and deeper into the dark side and becomes more and more villainous as the season goes on. The Alex that was seen in the beginning is completely the opposite of the Alex that is standing right now. It's hard to believe that Alex was once a fan favorite houseguest among the audience at the start, but has now declined in popularity due to her horrible personality.

** [[EvilIsPetty Pettiness]]: Alex doesn't call herself the "Queen of Petty" for nothing. She is incredibly petty and spiteful when she doesn't get her own way. She displays pettiness in the way that she treats other people. She was unnecessarily petty in the way that she treated Jessica, Cody, Elena, Paul, and Kevin especially. In the case of Jessica, she would constantly talk endless trash about her behind her back out of pettiness and jealousy. She repeatedly tried to target Jessica and wanted her to be evicted pre jury so that she wouldn't make it to jury and wouldn't be with Cody in jury either. In her Goodbye Message to Jessica, she acted very petty towards her when she gloated that she wanted to thank Jessica for hating her for no reason, that she wanted to wish her a great summer for not making it to jury and that she doesn't need to worry about Cody because she will watch him for her. Knowing that Jessica has always been insecure about the relationship between Cody and Alex, this was a dig at Jessica and Alex acting petty so that she could kick Jessica when she was already down. And she did that all while wearing her classic PETTY cap. How fitting. Her pettiness also extended to Cody as well. She was unnecessarily rude and mean to him even though he secretly was trying to work with her and protect her in the game. But she didn't even care and continued to act horrible towards him. During the week that Cody was being evicted, Cody lashed out at Alex for nominating him by eating her whole box of cereal. Alex reacted in a very vicious manner by yelling at him in front of the entire house and embarrassing him by humiliating him about having a kid and about how he ruined Jessica's chances in the game. Alex continued to berate him non-stop until he couldn't take the humiliation and the bullying anymore and decided to walk away from it in shame. Alex was also petty towards Elena after Elena had taken the $5,000 money prize and gave her a camping punishment in return. Alex didn't take it well at all and she acted extremely mean and petty towards Elena by repeatedly calling her derogatory names behind her back. She also wanted to get back at her for breaking her word by making Elena a Have-Not during her birthday but she decided not to because Alex wanted to uphold her word. She was unnecessarily petty and rude to Kevin, who noticed how mean she was. Alex not only talked trash about Kevin non stop but she also bullied him. When Kevin was a Have-Not, Alex hid his slop in the Storage Room so that he would starve. Kevin never did a single thing to her for the entire game and she thought that it was okay to do something like this. Finally, Alex really let her ultimate petty side come out when it came to Paul. After she found out that Paul was loyal to Josh and Christmas over her, she went on a 20 minute angry rant about how she dislikes him because he's a liar and he's a counterfeit who backstabbed her. She also lashed out at all of the other houseguests and decided to isolate herself all day and read the bible (something that she criticized both Cody and Dominique for doing by the way) and when she was evicted, she decided to not hug anyone or say goodbye to anyone. On top of it, Alex trashed Paul's name in the jury and made a pact with the other jury members that she wouldn't vote for Paul no matter who he was sitting next to in the Final 2. She upheld her word by voting for Paul over Josh and insulting Paul while she cast her vote about the concept of friendship. Alex is probably the most petty and mean spirited houseguest that Big Brother has ever had the misfortune of casting since Big Brother 15. Alex was despised by the audience because of her incessant petty personality.

** TheResenter: Alex is one of the most resentful people in the house. She has a complete inability to let go of things. When Cody had put her on the block in the first week, she decided to target him and get back at him for the rest of the time he was in the house. She didn't even seem to notice that Cody didn't even want to put her on the block but instead was forced to by the rest of his alliance. Cody was even noticeably emotional over having to nominate Alex during the nomination ceremony and speech. But that still didn't convince Alex that he was actually on her side and he was indeed trying to protect her as much as he could. But the one person whom she ended up having a major resentment towards ended up being Paul, the one person that she was extremely loyal to since the beginning next to Jason. Once Alex had found out that Paul's loyalties lied elsewhere (with Josh and Christmas to be specific), Alex became extremely vengeful and enraged about this fact. She never let go of her resentment of Paul and how he outplayed her and chose to take other allies to the end over her. She simply couldn't stand the fact that she was not Paul's number one ally in the game like she thought she was. As a result of her resentment, Alex ended up going to the jury house having very bitter and sour feelings towards Paul. She was so resentful against Paul that she vowed to vote against him if he made it to the Final 2. And she did when he made it to the Final 2 along with Josh. Instead of voting for the best game player like she had said she would while she was still in the house, she decided to vote bitterly and instead chose to vote for Josh instead even though Josh was not a superior game player to Paul by any means. To rub salt in the wound, Alex even made a very snarky comment at Paul by mocking his concept of friendship while voting for Josh. Once you screw over Alex, she becomes highly resentful and she can hold a grudge like no other. Her inability to stop being resentful not only cost her the game, but it also cost her popularity and likability among the fans and the audience. It only increased at the tail end of the season when it came time for her to vote for who she wanted to win. Numerous fans criticized her on her social media, including her Twitter and her Instagram pages, about how bitter and resentful of a person she is and that she should be ashamed for displaying such poor attitude and behavior over a game like Big Brother.

* GreenEyedMonster: It's apparent that her hatred of Jessica was laced with strong bits of jealousy. Alex felt threatened by Jessica because Jessica was more physically appealing than her. Plus, there was some serious competition between Alex and Jessica over Cody that was strongly laced in jealousy. Some fans speculate that Alex started to hate Jessica because Alex may have had a crush on Cody at the start but then he chose Jessica over her. Alex has gone out of her way to desperately target all of the showmances in the house because she was the only female houseguest to not get engaged in a showmance and she was jealous.

* HatedByAll: Alex isn't completely hated or disliked by everyone in the house on the same level that Raven, Jessica or Cody are, but as of later weeks, she is starting to wear thin on the other houseguests and she's morphed into someone extremely unlikeable. The other houseguests have commented that they find Alex to be way too arrogant, cocky, and abrasive in the way that she acts and behaves. Paul has stated that although he likes Alex on a personal level and has been aligned with her since the start, she is becoming increasingly annoying because of her smugness and arrogance. Raven has commented that she's not the biggest fan of Alex because she finds her very arrogant and conceited. It should also be noted that Raven hated Alex at the start and she acted very petty towards her. Raven resorted to calling her "Pao Pao", stealing her cat ears and hiding them, and pouring out her Coke because she disliked her so much. Kevin also dislikes Alex on a personal level because he thinks that she is selfish, arrogant, and mean spirited. He also doesn't like her on a game level because she has been targeting him in the game. Jason is close friends and allies with Alex, but he's even complained to other houseguests that he doesn't care for her abrasive and confrontational behavior and that it's starting to turn him off to the point where he's distancing himself from her. Josh doesn't dislike Alex personally, but he does view her as a threat and is therefore adamant about getting her out of the house. The only one that seems to tolerate Alex as of Week 10 is Christmas, and even she doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of Alex and her arrogant behavior. Interesting how everyone was against Alex at the start of the game when she was the underdog and seemed like she didn't deserve it, but now that she's no longer the underdog with the entire house against her, the other houseguests disliking her has become completely warranted due to the poor behavior she's displayed. She's also one of the lowest-ranked However, she does address it on Instagram when we find out that she hasn't spoken to Paul since the game because she actually wanted to go after Paul at the endgame and didn't have the heart to get rid of him until she absolutely had to, but Paul didn't share her sentiment and she felt angry at him for not doing a friendly elimination on good terms because being a gamer herself, she doesn't like it when you cheat to get to the end because it doesn't feel rewarding and wanted to have an ally she knew wouldn't be willing to cut her down, thinking Paul was that person because she watched the last season thinking Paul wasn't the kind of person to go after his own allies on purpose because and only took out the people who made the house a bad place for everyone else, so she screwed over Paul for not playing nobly, and she is allowed to play however she wants and the fans shouldn't project their expectations onto her. Also, in her afterparty interview with Dr. Will, she admits "Alex is scared of the Big Brother house" and needs time to recover when he tosses at her the idea of returning again, which essentially means she's in a HeroicSafeMode and people realized she wanted to give Paul a taste of his own medicine for taking advantage of her innocence/naivete in the game just for kicks.
* HateSink: Alex is probably one of the most loathsome and destestable players of the entire season. She's so detestable and unlikeable that she gives Natalie Martinez (from Big Brother 11) a serious run for her money as to who's the most unlikeable houseguest in recent seasons. Alex is extremely mean, bitter and petty and she has shown to be a very nasty individual. She has constantly talked trash about every single person in the house and shows zero guilt or remorse about it. She has mistreated numerous houseguests and has bullied them for no good reason. She has treated people like Kevin and Jessica horribly and has not felt bad about her actions. She also claims to hate lying but has no issue with lying herself if she knows that it will benefit her and her game somehow. In many ways, Alex is a hypocrite. Her bitterness and nasty behavior during the time when she got evicted did nothing to help with her likability. She only managed to fan the flames of hatred that many fans had for her when she acted like an extremely petty and bitter SoreLoser when she ended up voting for Josh over Paul out of spite because she couldn't get over Paul playing the game and not taking her to the end. Alex is one of the most unlikeable, hate worthy and detestable houseguests in recent years and she could easily be one of the most hate worthy players in Big Brother history along with the likes of Natalie Martinez ([=BB11=]), Frankie Grande ([=BB16=]), Austin Matelson ([=BB17=]), Adam Jasinski ([=BB9=]), Andy Herron ([=BB15=]), [=GinaMarie=] Zimmerman ([=BB15=]), Amanda Zuckerman ([=BB15=]), and Aaryn Gries ([=BB15=]). Yeah, she's just ''that'' horrible.

* HystericalWoman: When Alex goes off, she can come off as extremely emotionally unstable. She's CuteAndPsycho when she's provoked and she is very menacing. Some of the fans have questioned Alex's mental state. In Week 11, she demonstrates how unstable she is when she has a major emotional breakdown after she discovers that she's going home and that Paul played her and betrayed her.

* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: Alex is probably one of the most unlikeable and loathsome players of the season. She is hateful, bitter, mean spirited and unpopular with the audience. It doesn't help that she holds petty grudges.

* LoveMakesYouEvil: A variation. Alex's admiration, friendship, affection and loyalty to Paul prompts Alex to do a FaceHeelTurn and become a villain. Before she turned "evil", Alex was a decent houseguest who was well liked by the fans and was an underdog that was worth rooting for.

* AudienceSurrogate: Kevin seems to be the one houseguest who represents the audience. He says and thinks a lot of what the audience would. Kevin is a fan favorite because his views regarding a lot of things in the game are in alignment with the audience's views.

* ExtremeDoormat: Kevin lets all of the other houseguests talk badly about him and treat him like crap. He's so much of an oblivious doormat that he didn't even realize that every single person in the house was plotting against him to get him out of the game. People can constantly mistreat him and he doesn't stand up for himself. Alex, for example, has bullied Kevin and treated him terribly yet he refuses to say anything about it to her face or to tell her to stop her bad behaviour and attitude towards him. Instead of facing Alex and complaining to her about how she treats him, he just chooses to complain about Alex's attitude behind her back and how badly she treats him to other houseguests. There may be a part of Kevin that feels that if he confronts Alex, he may become an even bigger target because he knows how confrontational and HotBlooded Alex already is. In addition, Kevin also lets Paul dictate and control him when it comes to the game. Paul has isolated Kevin from talking to other people and socializing in general. Paul has Kevin on a leash and everything that Kevin did in the game was dictated and controlled by Paul. Fans just desperately wanted Kevin to refuse to be treated like he's some obedient dog that should always listen to Paul and stand up to him and do what he wants to do in the game. Fan also complained that Kevin really had no spine when it came to standing up to the other younger houseguests. As a result of Kevin coming off as the house's punching bag for everyone to talk badly about or place the blame on for everything bad that happened, Kevin came off as weak and the younger houseguests looked like they were resorting to ElderAbuse by constantly picking on Kevin with Kevin never fighting back.

** ExtremeDoormat: Kevin seems to have a habit of letting all of the much younger houseguests use and abuse him and treat him terribly. Alex continues to bash Kevin and treat him in a horrible manner (and he knows this) yet he does nothing to stand up to her or call her out on her poor treatment towards him. He continues to let it happen instead of calling Alex out. Alex is frequently rude to him and he just sits by and takes it. Also, Kevin tends to let Paul dictate to him about what he should and shouldn't do in the game. He lets Paul call all of the shots even if it means asking Kevin to isolate himself and stay away from the other houseguests so that he doesn't communicate with them. Paul acts very bossy and controlling to Kevin and many fans question why Kevin just lets Paul act this way or treat him in such a manner. Kevin is an ExtremeDoormat to people and the much younger houseguests think that they can walk all over Kevin simply because he's the oldest houseguest of the season.

* TheAce: Subverted. It was originally expected that Christmas would be the strongest and most invincible female in the house this season because of her athletic background. Fans believed that she would be the strongest competitor and that she would be on the same level as the male houseguests. Unfortunately for her, breaking her foot rendered her a BrokenAce. Saddled with such a horrible injury, she was no longer able to showcase her athletic abilities in competitions. She felt incredibly useless because of it, which in turn, caused Christmas to feel a host of negative emotions such as sadness and anger.

* AlwaysSaveTheBoy: She's developed this mentality with Paul. Christmas has become a bodyguard for Paul and she's extremely overprotective of him. She's willing to go to extreme lengths to keep Paul safe even if she has to sacrifice her own game to do it. She has a very strong UndyingLoyalty to Paul considering that she says that she would throw away her game for Paul (and Josh) if it ever came time for her to do that. Many fans speculate that Christmas is always so overprotective of Paul because she has a strong soft spot for him and also has a deep affection for him. When Josh, Paul and Christmas were discussing nominations in Week 11 after Josh won HOH and the possibility of Paul going on the block was talked about, Christmas told Josh that if either Alex or Kevin were to win POV, she wants Josh to put her on the block instead of Paul. Christmas said this because she knows that Paul is a bigger target and she didn't want to risk him going home so she was willing to risk herself going on the block so that Paul wouldn't have to.
* AmazonChaser: Christmas is an AmazonianBeauty who is incredibly built and muscular for a female. But because of her muscular physique, Christmas has said that many men have been intimidated by her and are afraid to date her because they may find her physical strength to be too much for them. Christmas has admitted that men may find women that are muscular and active like her to be too intimidating for them because a lot of men don't like women who may have bigger muscles or more athleticism than they do. However, this isn't always 100% of the case as there have been plenty of male fans of Big Brother who find Christmas to be a MsFanservice '' because she is an ActionGirl who is muscular and athletic''. Guys like Cody, on the other hand, have said that they find women who physically look like Christmas to be unappealing and masculine, which is very strange for him considering that Cody was an AmazonChaser since he was drawn to Alex who was an authentic ActionGirl.

* AmbiguouslyBi: At the start of the season, Christmas had a sexually ambiguous relationship with Elena. They were a little too close for comfort at times, such as when the two of them had no problem hugging each other, touching each other (sometimes intimately and erotically), or cuddling with each other in bed. Their interactions led fans to believe there was some serious LesYay going on between the two which fuelled [[ShipTease some fans to ship them together romantically]]. However, it's apparent that she also loves men as she had a ex-fiance named Gregory (who she broke up with) and she has openly admitted to having a crush/romantic feelings for Paul.

* BaitTheDog: Christmas appeared to be a nice girl for the most part and she was originally beloved by the audience. However, her true colors came out and she showed that she does have a very nasty, catty and petty side to her personality. It's surprising to see that Christmas, who was once thought of to be the nicest and kindest houseguests in the game, later turned out to be completely mean and nasty with time. Much of the dramatic and negative change in her personality had much to do with her UndyingLoyalty to Paul and how much influence he had on her personality. Christmas was willing to reach out to everyone in the house and extended kindness and compassion, but as time went on and she became more and more corrupted by Paul and his manipulations, she started to deviate away from everyone and started to only care about herself, Paul and Josh. She also took party to much of the bullying in the house. She bullied Cody and personally attacked him by saying that he was a disgraceful marine and that she had no respect for him despite serving the country. And she was also a bit of a bully towards Josh. She constantly mistreated him and yelled at him when he didn't do what she wanted. She became more and more of an AlphaBitch with time and by the season's end, she was barely recognizable to the person that she started the season as. As a result of the extreme negative changes in both her personality and her behavior in the game, her popularity outside of the house has dramatically declined and there isn't as much support for her that there used to be at the start of the game or pre season.

* BigSisterBully: To Josh. Whenever Josh acts out of line, doesn't do what she likes, or goes against her and Paul in any way, Christmas acts very aggressive and intimidating towards Josh. She'll yell at him, talk down to him, and guilt trip him into doing what she wants him to do and out of fear of being targeted by her, he'll act like an ExtremeDoormat and let her walk all over him. Fans have frequently made comments on social media websites that they hate the way that Christmas treats Josh and they find her behavior and attitude towards him to be rather abusive and aggressive.

* TheConfidant: For Josh. Since the start of the game, Josh has had no one to talk to or confide him because nobody liked being around him because of his overly emotional nature. Christmas was the only houseguest (the other one being Dominique) that found Josh to be tolerable and who gave him the time of day. Christmas was often the one to encourage Josh to not give up or let his emotions get the best of him. Eventually, Christmas became a BigSisterMentor towards him and was the one who Josh constantly sought out for advice and emotional support whenever he needed it. In Week 1, Josh remained loyal to Christmas and voted to keep her because Christmas was always there for Josh when nobody else was. He couldn't vote out someone who has been his emotional rock since the start of the game and who has been the one to keep his head in the game by giving him encouraging and inspiring advice and talks. However, even though she was a confident for Josh and would give him emotional support and advice about personal or game related things, she did sometimes happen to abuse her power over Josh at times and she could sometimes veer into being a ControlFreak towards him which in some fans perceptions, soured their opinions regarding the relationship between Josh and Christmas.

* ControlFreak: She likes to be in control of everything and if she isn't, she loses her mind. She seems to aim all of her controlling and dominating attitude and behavior towards Josh. She likes to exert her dominance and power over him as much as possible because she believes that doing so would keep Josh out of trouble and would keep him in line so that he doesn't screw up, let his emotions get in the way of his game, and ruin any plans. Because of her ultra controlling personality, there have been quite a few fans who think that Christmas is TheBully or a BigSisterBully towards Josh. They think that Christmas tries to dominate and control Josh too much to the extent that they think Josh is intimidated by Christmas and shows that he's scared of being in her presence or getting her upset. Her constant need to control things has caused her to become a target throughout the game and her controlling attitude hasn't helped her gain and favor with some of the other houseguests. Christmas' controlling attitude and personality was probably why she didn't gel well with Alex -- the two of them are such strong female personalities. They were both an AlphaBitch and there could only be room for one. Even Paul has mentioned that sometimes, he would get sick of Christmas and her controlling attitude.

* CuteAndPsycho: Downplayed. Christmas has her endearing moments and she can be a NiceGirl when she wants. However, DO NOT underestimate her or overlook the fact that when she is provoked into anger, she has a very nasty and vicious temper. When she gets fired up and angry, she doesn't hold back and because of it, she can come across as mentally unstable. Once Christmas gets fired up and angry, she's very scary and intimidating. When she got into an argument with Josh over Paul's loyalty, her behaviour was rather aggressive and she even threatened Josh. She called him a f--k boy for walking away from her and that he better not dare to do it again because she will make sure that he won't get away from it. Even Cody, who is normally [[TheStoic not affected by anything emotionally]], admits that he finds Christmas intimidating because of her aggressive and overly emotional behavior. Even fans had commented that when Christmas pops off her top in anger, she's actually very frightening and scary just because her temper is so ferocious. Despite her nasty temper however, she doesn't really pose a significant threat to anyone's safety and she still has her sanity for the most part. That doesn't mean anyone should make her mad because there is a nasty side that can come out to play!

* DracoInLeatherPants: Downplayed. The fans have generally accepted that Christmas is a villain or a morally ambiguous person who has done many things that are problematic and mean, but there are a portion of fans who actually sympathize with Christmas and feel sorry for her. They say that her mean behavior and attitude towards others can be excused because she has gone through a hard time and has been dealt a very bad hand in the game. There are some fans who felt really bad for Christmas and attacked Cody for trying to target her and get her out of the house. Some even go as far as to say that she was justified in going after Cody on a personal level because of how Cody treated her in the beginning. Other fans don't blame Christmas for being bitchy because she had a very bad injury to her foot and as a result of that injury, her mobility was stifled and none existent. Even though Christmas has done a lot of crappy things and has displayed bad behavior, there are quite a few fans that sympathize with her and her situation and don't see her to be that much of a bad person or a villain.

* DramaQueen: Christmas has a habit of blowing things way out of proportion especially whenever things don't go her way. She can be very dramatic and over the top in how she approaches things. She's also frequently combative and argumentative and seems to get some sort of thrill off of fighting with other houseguests. One example of Christmas overdoing it and acting dramatic was when she got into a fight with Mark in Week 7. She resorted to insulting and talking down to Mark by calling him "kitty boo boo" and yelling at him in front of the entire house claiming that Mark is a huge liar, a flip flopper and a disloyal person. Another example of Christmas being a drama queen is in Week 10, when Christmas and Josh are having a legitimate discussion about Paul's game and his loyalty to the alliance. Josh starts to question whether Paul's intentions with them are real and genuine and this causes Christmas to lose her cool because she thinks that Josh is trying to break apart the team with his paranoia. When Christmas ends up yelling at him as he continues to criticize Paul and his plans not benefiting the team, Josh ends up walking away from the conversation because he wants to spare himself getting into an unnecessary argument with his closest ally next to Paul. Christmas DOES NOT take this well and follows him to curse him out by telling him to not act like a f-ckboy by walking away from her during a conversation. She continues to berate Josh by telling him that she is a real woman and that he will not get the satisfaction of doing something like that to her again and getting away with it. Many fans felt that Christmas was unnecessarily rude, aggressive and overly dramatic in her treatment of Josh. Others in the house have commented that Christmas is way too overly emotional and thrives on drama.

* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: Christmas' relationship with Elena was rather ambiguous at the beginning of the game...to the point where some fans [[ShipTease even shipped]] [[LesYay the two of them together]].

* FaceHeelTurn: A mild version. Christmas started out as a "good" houseguest as she seemed nice, friendly, and affable. She was also highly popular with the fans. However, after she starts to work with Paul and becomes one of his closest allies, she becomes more and more dark and villainous. Her personality also changes dramatically, and she becomes progressively meaner, crueler and more aggressive. Once she gets mad, a very nasty and vicious side of her personality can come out and it isn't pleasant.
* FallenHero: Christmas started out as a good person with a generally pleasant and nice disposition and personality. But once Paul got his hooks into her and he corrupted her to be loyal to him, she became significantly meaner and nastier in personality. Some fans argue that Christmas was always a mean girl and was instead nothing more than a case of BaitTheDog or a BitchInSheepsClothing who was hiding a mean and nasty personality underneath a sweet and nice facade. Her harsh and nasty treatment towards some of the houseguests such as Cody, Jessica, Mark, Kevin and even Josh turned a lot of fans off of her and she became increasingly unpopular because of her negative attitude. It's sad to think that the Christmas we saw in the beginning slowly started to dissipate and the Christmas that we saw at the end was the same person that she used to be before. She became unrecognizable but her severe change in attitude and personality could be because she was handed some very bad luck throughout the game and therefore, she could be given an excuse for her behavior or some sympathy for all that she had gone through.

** Her [[SmugSnake Arrogance]]. Christmas has become exceedingly arrogant with time. At first, she seemed like a very humbled person. When she got injured, Christmas was extremely devastated by being injured knowing that she wouldn't be able to compete on the same level as the rest of the houseguests. But as Christmas got farther and farther into the game, she lost her sense of humility. She seemed to believe that she was deserving of being there simply because she was disabled and handicapped. So she developed a sense of entitlement that other houseguests started to notice. Christmas is so arrogant that she believes that she has more power in the house than she really does. She doesn't seem to realize that her two main allies Paul and Josh are the main reason why she has made it as far as she has. Even other houseguests such as Mark and Cody realize how cocky and full of herself Christmas is. Ever since aligning with Paul, she has become significantly cocky and entitled and this attitude that she's developed has turned off not only other houseguests, but a large majority of the audience as well.

* HeroKiller: Christmas was responsible for the eviction of Mark, who can be viewed as TheHero of the season. She was the one who nominated him and put him on the block as a backdoor option after Jason won the POV. Even though Mark has been one of her enemies throughout the game, Christmas admitted that she does feel slightly bad for being responsible for Mark's demise, but that she felt it was very necessary because she knows that she would be one of his major targets if he were to win HOH. In addition to being responsible for Mark's eviction, she's also directly responsible for Jason' eviction. Although it's questionable and ambiguous as to whether or not Jason can be perceived or classified as a heroic character from the audience or fans perspective, there's no doubt that out of a houseguest that was filled with many mean and cruel houseguests, Jason was one of the heroic characters and the lesser of evils.

* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Christmas has openly admitted that she's willing to sacrifice her own game at the Final 3 so that Paul and Josh can go to the Final 2 together. Her loyalty to the two of them is so strong that she has no problem giving up her game for them and giving Paul and Josh a chance to fight it out in the end. A lot of fans say that it's very silly of Christmas to have such a mentality, especially when this is a game for a lot of money. Others, on the contrary, think that it's very sweet that Christmas would be willing to lay down her game for the two people that she loves most in the game and the two that have supported her since the start.

* LoveMakesYouEvil: Christmas' affection, loyalty and friendship to Paul had caused her to go from being a heroic character who was popular and loved by the fans to a villainous AlphaBitch. Under Paul's influence, she became much more ruthless, cunning, aggressive and mean. Sometimes her aggressiveness would come out when she was trying to be protective of Paul because she didn't want Paul to become targeted by anyone. Christmas ended up acting mean and ruthless towards anyone that was even attempting to try to take Paul out, such as Cody for example. One of the biggest reasons why Christmas was so antagonistic towards Cody was because he was trying to get Paul out of the house since Week 1 and he continued to target and hate him for the rest of the time he was there. Yes, Christmas also had a strong dislike and distrust of Cody because he wasn't the nicest person and he did betray her in the first week as well, but the root cause of her anger pertained to him being against Paul more than anything else. Christmas didn't like that Cody was constantly gunning for Paul and she went out of her way to personally attack Cody because of his actions against him. Much of Christmas' unsavoury actions, attitude and behavior in this game have been because of her UndyingLoyalty to Paul. It doesn't help that Christmas ended up developing a VillainousCrush on Paul and that completely helped to influence her actions.

* MsFanservice: Christmas wears a lot of revealing clothing which shows off her fit body. There is a sizeable portion of the male viewing audience that approves.

* OddFriendship: With both Josh and Paul. Who would have thought the AmazonianBeauty with a muscular, athletic body would be such close friends and allies with Josh, an overly emotional, hot headed Latino guy and Paul, a tattooed up punk rocker with a large beard? Christmas' connection with Josh is emotional because she has played the role of BigSisterMentor to him. She has been an emotional support system for Josh, especially when everyone was against him and nobody liked him. Christmas' relationship with Paul started at the very beginning when she was his only ally and OnlyFriend before Paul started branching out and building other relationships with the other houseguests. Christmas has an attachment to Paul because she loves his personality and she thinks that he's a very strong player that's worthy of aligning with. Some fans also say that Christmas is attracted to Paul and is so attached to him because Paul bears a very strong physical resemblance to her ex-fiance Gregg. Nevertheless, fans have consistently commented that Christmas' close friendship with Josh and Paul is very unusual and unexpected.

* TookALevelInJerkass: Christmas started off as NiceGirl who appeared friendly and affable. She was also one of the more popular players at the beginning. However, that all changed as the season progressed and she started to show a less favourable side of her personality. She became progressively meaner, aggressive, and ruthless in personality and in the way that she played the game. Some fans argue that Christmas became less nice after she got the serious injury to her foot and she was irritated at the fact that she would no longer be able to compete on the same level as the rest of the houseguests. Other fans argue that Christmas was AffablyEvil and was always a BitchInSheepsClothing who had always been an unkind person but just hid it behind a friendly, nice facade. There is no doubt that she has become more aggressive in the way that she interacts with others, in particular Josh. She used to treat him with such kindness, compassion and care, but towards the end of the game, she sheds that side of her personality around him and has treated him unkindly and came across as TheBully towards him. Some also blame Paul for being TheCorrupter for her. They believe that Paul is the one who's responsible for Christmas becoming a villain and for the negative change in Christmas's personality.

* {{Hawaii}}: Alex was born or is originally from Hawaii. However, she currently resides in California.

* HollywoodCalifornia: Alex hails from a city in California called Thousand Oaks, but she is originally from Camarillo. Despite being from California, she's actually born in {{Hawaii}}.

* TheScrappy: Alex is easily one of the most hated houseguests of the season, She is ranked so low on the majority of all of the popularity polls, such as Jokers Updates Ratings. Much of the disdain that is thrown towards Alex from the audience is because she has shown to be a very unkind and nasty individual that likes to spread constant trash talk and vitriol about the other houseguests behind their backs. She is also an EntitledBitch who comes off as a SpoiledBrat that feels that she's superior to everyone else and that she deserves to be there more than anyone else. Her attitude when she found out that she was going home made the fans opinion of her even worse. They felt that she was nothing more than a ultra petty and bitter person who couldn't get over the fact that she was outplayed and that she was too trusting and gullible and that because of it, it was her biggest downfall in the game. Alex couldn't acknowledged that she was responsible for her own demise yet instead chose to have a NeverMyFault mentality by blaming Paul and everyone else for the fact that she was leaving. There's no doubt that out of a cast full of unlikeable houseguests (and there were many!), Alex registers as one of the most unlikeable and one of the more easier houseguests to hate.

* BigBreastPride: Alex has large boobs and she shows how proud of them she is since she likes to flaunt them by wearing tops, bras, shirts or dresses that have an ImpossiblyLowNeckline. Alex has mentioned before that the boobs are fake and that she does indeed have breast implants. It was also rumored that she had them done before she came into the house.

* HundredPercentAdorationRating: Initially, up to about the start of Week 7, before the jury became a concern. Nobody in the house dislikes, hates or is even targeting Kevin. Everyone likes him on a personal and game level in the house. Kevin is also popular outside of the house. He's often in the top spots on most of the favourite houseguest polls and shall he not make it to the end, he has a very high chance of winning America's Favorite Houseguest. To prove the point, at one point during Week 6, Kevin was regaling some of the houseguests about his time coaching T-Ball. Even ''Cody'' was laughing. However, as of Week 7 onwards, Kevin started currying favor with anybody who was slated to be voted into the jury, after having little to no interactions with some of these people up until them. Because he wasn't talking to these people as friends, but as his pity party, he steps on many toes for being a FalseFriend. The others realize Kevin is an opportunist and everyone in the house has turned on him and they no longer lie or trust him in the game due to the belief that they think he's untrustworthy, useless, shady and sketchy in his behavior. However, Alex calls everyone out on this in Week 9 and thereafter for being too trusting of him, and Josh also notices Kevin is befriending people right before they go to jury after not interacting with them on a personal level up until them. By Week 10, his approval rating has capsized.

* HatedByAll: He's become widely disliked by his fellow housemates. Kevin went from being [[OneHundredPercentAdorationRating universally loved, liked or respected by everyone in the house]] in the earlier part of the game to being hated behind his back by the other houseguests. As of Week 7 onwards, nobody seems to talk good things about him and every single person in the house wants Kevin gone. He's become the biggest target in the house after Cody but for no solid reason. Although Paul and Kevin were very close in the beginning, Paul has completely turned on Kevin, feeling that Kevin is "counterfeit" and that he's not a genuine person in any way. Alex has wanted Kevin out of the house with an undying passion because she feels that Kevin is targeting her and doesn't like her on a personal level (in which he doesn't). Josh doesn't trust Kevin at all because he feels that he has lied about everything in his life, has been dishonest and is very fake and not genuine. Christmas, although she had a friendship with Kevin throughout the game, doesn't trust Kevin because she feels that he comes across as very shady and dishonest. Jason may be the only houseguest that may like Kevin on personal level, but even he seems to distrust him on a game level and has contemplated getting him out of the house along with the other houseguests.
