* SmokingIsGlamorous: Initially smoked several a day, but she drops the habit rather quickly when Nagisa informs her about Koro-sensei's heightened sense of smell

* SweaterGirl: Intestingly, she is a double example of this trope. After her GoodCostumeSwitch, she wears a conserative sweater which shows far less skin than her previous top. This is in keeping with the general Asian idea of sweaters being modest. However, several of her students get nosebleeds the first time they see her in it, because it leaves more to their immagination. This is the more Western idea of the trope of sweaters being fanservice.

* NerdsAreSexy: She's more on the "cute" than "sexy" side, but it's her talent for chemistry that's got Karma's attention. The glasses may also help.
* NoSocialSkills: She is awkward, timid and incredibly straightforward. Her method of trying to poison Koro-sensei was to walk up to him and ask him to drink her concoctions. Then, when Koro-sensei offered to tutor her on how to create a chemical mixture that would kill him, she took him at face value. It turns out that the concoction actually helped improve his fluidity. Koro-sensei uses this as an lesson for Okuda on why delivery (or conversation skills) is also a necessity.

* WhiteHairBlackHeart: Subverted -- he has silver hair and is training to kill Koro-sensei, but at heart he's a pretty good fellow.

* BridalCarry: According to her character profile, she longs to be given one. Unfortunately for her, the rest of the girls in the class misunderstood her and thought she longed to ''give'' one to somebody, [[UpToEleven so they all lined up in front of her asking for one]].

Despite being part of the class comprised of the school's "worst", each student has a characteristic which defines him/her and becomes his/her weapon. As the series progresses, they become better in assassination, P.E. ''and'' studying.

* AllMenArePerverts: While Okajima is the most blatant example, most of the other boys are no better. In Chapter 88, they outfit Itona's RC tank (which was supposed to be an assassination tool) with a webcam to be able to peek underneath the girls' skirts. * LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters: At the beginning of the series, we have 26 students and their homeroom teacher. Later on, Karasuma and Irina enter as auxiliary teachers, and still later, Ritsu and Itona enter as transferees. Because of this, it's really hard to focus on one of them for a period of time, and even the main trio -- Nagisa, Kayano and Karma -- can fall into the background at times.
