* On another meta level, Director James Frawley spent the entire shoot acting like the Muppets were simply the film’s actors, always talking directly to the puppets without ever letting on that he had any idea it was an act. Add on that he was uncomfortably out of his element as a TV director who had no idea if he could handle a feature film, and it becomes a mind-boggling performance that doubtlessly added a great deal to the filming process.

* There has been much debate as to whether ''The Muppet Movie'' or ''Film/AMuppetFamilyChristmas'' is more of a Jim Henson victory lap. In any case, both are Crowning Moments for everyone involved and both feature a fantastic moment at the end that is somewhere in-between this and CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming:
