* Chen is denied entering a park and is pointed to a sign that says "No Dogs and Chinese Allowed." The Indian guard lets a foreign women take her dog in, and a Japanese guy tells Lee he'll let him in if he acts like a dog. Lee proceeds to beat up the Japanese guy and his friends and then smashes the sign with a flying kick. This scene received a roar of applause from Chinese audiences on its first showing. This is TruthInTelevision, as the Japanese did view the Chinese as subhuman creatures inferior to them.

* Petrov's demonstration and later he actually stuns Chen with some punches during their fight.
* An awesome moment for Creator/BruceLee and then Stuntman Creator/JackieChan. Chan doubled for Suzuki's actor for the flying kick scene taking the kick and flying a few feet out the window. It becomes a SugarWiki/{{Heartwarming Moment|s}} when Lee, checks to see if Chan is alright after said stunt. Bear in mind Jackie Chan was a teenager when he did the stunt.

** A ray of hope does come from RealLife: the real Chen survived and escaped (in)justice.

* A combined TearJerker: the ending. After offing Suzuki, Petrov, and a good majority of the Japanese dojo, Chen returns to his school to find his comrades dead. After overhearing a conversation that the school might face the consequences of his actions. Knowing this, Chen offers himself to save the school and is led away... only to face a firing squad of foreign detectives and Japanese soldiers. Knowing that he may die no matter what he does, Chen howls one last {Kiai}} before delivering a final jump kick...[[BolivianArmyEnding just as the movie ends on a freeze-frame.]]
** The most awesome part is that the real Chen survived that and escaped (in)justice.

* Chen takes on a whole Japanese karate dojo by himself and whups them all! This was after they brought his Chinese Kung Fu school a sign which read "Sick Men of Asia," and claimed they would eat their words if any Chinese could beat them. After beating the dojo, Lee tears up the paper and makes two of the students eat it, claiming that if they bother his school again, he'll make them eat the glass.
