Find a Trope:

I'm looking for a trope that is almost exactly Red Right Hand, but instead of a physical deformity of some kind, it's demonstrating powers that only the bad guys use. The example I'm thinking of comes from The Kane Chronicles, the Carter and Sadie's uncle, Amus, uses forbidden chaos magic to turn everybody into little storm clouds, which Zia uses to support her argument that Amus is in league with Set. I could have sworn I read about the trope on the Kane Chronicles page, but I can't seem to find it now.

I'm looking for a certain trope, where the hero manages to kill the villain, but fails to stop his plan in time. The closest I've been able to find is My Death Is Just the Beginning and You Are Too Late, but the former involves the villain's death being part of the plan and the latter doesn't necessarily involve the villain dying.
Have I somehow missed it or am I just searching for a trope that doesn't exist?
openNo Title Music
Is there a trope for pieces of generally unrelated (or rather VERY loosely related) music that sound similar? I'm talking specifically about Super Mario Galaxy's Comet Observatory theme sounding similar to the theme from Clu Clu Land, another Nintendo game (albeit, an obscure one that isn't very good).

Is there a trope for when a question pertinent to the plot is just plain left unanswered, either due to all the involved parties being killed off or Put on a Bus, or due to the point-of-view character just being out of the loop?
Not quite What Happened to the Mouse?, as that refers more to unimportant things that just never get followed up on.
openNo Title Anime
I noticed that in almost all anime the characters can hear eachother no matter how far away they are, just as long as the person they're speaking to is in sight. A guy stands on top of a skyscraper a half a mile away? No problem just say hi he'll hear you. No need to scream either.
Anyways is there a trope for that?
A zig-zag of sorts for this can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tH60cNil1g#t=3m40s

Alright, consider this situation:
For some reason or another, Alice and Bob pretend to be a couple (perhaps it's part of a disguise, or one of them lied to someone about having a significant other, etc.). However, over the course of pretending to be a couple, they eventually fall in love and become a couple for real.
My question is this: Does this fall under FakeāReal Turn, or is there a more specialized form of that trope that deals with relationships?

I'm thinking of starting up a YKTTW, but I figured I'd check to be sure it doesn't already exist. Specifically, I'm thinking about a variance of Legacy Character in which the person who takes up the Legacy is far more well known than the person who started it. Examples would be something like the Human Torch—everyone remembers Johnny Storm, but few actually know that the original Torch was a Golden Age android named Jim Hammmond. Another example would be Steel. Most people think of John Henry Irons, the black engineer who became a superhero after Superman's death, but few people outside of comics (or even those inside) remember Henry Heywood, who came long before that.

Last one, I promise!
Something of vial importance is going down, and it's happening now. RIGHT NOW. However, all of this depends on an excruciatingly slow process. Under any normal circumstance, this (possibly everyday) process wouldn't seem slow, but now that your life depends on it, well...
(Possible spoilers, ahoy!) I was playing a level near the end of Dead Space 2 where you are under constant pressure kindly provided by a rather... terrifying... necromorph. As it was bearing down on me in a narrow hallway (accompanied with a hoard of others), I was greeted by a pair of elevator doors. Cue me frantically hammering the call button and screaming obscenities as the darn thing took its sweet time to arrive. That's what made me think of this.
A loading bar is commonly associated with this "trope".

I'm fairly certain a trope exists for this, but I can't find it with a search.
The characters have their back to the camera. Suddenly, a shadowy someone or something dashes across the screen (often accompanied by an ominous noise). The characters then turn around, only for the ominous blur to dash between two objects behind them. This might continue as the characters are slowly picked off/disappear.
Playing against stalkers in Dead Space 2 reminded me of this (whist absolutely terrifying me), so I searched to see if they were listed as an example. Couldn't find anything.
There's also the bank robbing scene in Hancock, amongst others. I've seen it in so many shows/movies, it's hard to believe there might not be a trope...

I'm thinking of reviving the YKTTW for the trope that used to be Nerds Are Sexy, but I thought we might already have it:
Is there a trope for when a character, when faced with multiple romantic possibilities, picks one that is less conventionally attractive than at least one other for any reason?

Typical of many stories & movies this troper has seen. The end of the story. The Big Bad is defeated, all other hurdles overcome. Its time for the happy ending the big hug or the kiss. The hero & heroine are about to do so but just as they come together...Either the movie ends at that point, or a door closes or the camera zooms away and the closing credits roll...
It is implied...but not actually shown. I know that could be a deleted scene, but in this particular context of an averted explicit ending, what could this be?
Do we have a trope for inadvertent destruction of props on-camera?
