Alright, I decided to post all the various demons, beasts, demon-beasts, undeads, etc. If you have suggestions, criticism, or compliments, I will take it here.

We will start with the most recent demon in my writing: Nosfiratu. Nosfiratu is an odd character, he is a vampire in the same fashion as Dracula, a dark, perverted character with a disgusting sense of morality: he knows about what should be done and what should not be done, but he does evil things anyway. He differs from the various other Cosmic Horrors that way.

His appearance...not many people have seen Nosfiratu, but what the few survivors have said is that he flits across the sky, ripping people apart from above. His face is scrunched, his human eyes are sewn closed, and his mouth is large and open. His ears are large and equipped well to receive sonic waves. He has some large wings that double as swords, in addition to his arms, which also function as wings. His skin is deathly pale, and pallid, and is always described as being corpse-like. His cry is like the shrill scream of a woman watching untold horror being brought upon her family. His voice seems to switch between very high, and a frightening, demonic low voice. Sometimes, they overlap. His abilities include making Nosfiratu Children by biting people and injecting them with The Virus from his tongue, which actually has a second mouth on it.

Nosfiratu Children are nasty. The description of the transformation from normal human to "Child" is gruesome, and it involves boiling skin, and a transformation to a corpse-like human form and a much larger One-Winged Angel form, which is essentially achieved by the Nosfiratu Child ripping its human disguise off, revealing a grotesque version of Nosfiratu's form, with only two wings, legs that end in large, claws, and a tail that terminates in a "skewer" which passes the virus on, except anyone who wings up envenomated by a Child faces slow death, and then a revival as an undead slave.

The next monster on the list is the one the Phoebononians worship: Aedleig, the Architect. Essentially the aborted fetus of a demonic god who passed from the world after having Aedleig aborted, this monster is BIG. Its constantly dripping fleshy...stuff...that reforms into smaller mooks. If you are caught in the flesh, you become addicted to it and become a Thrall. Not a pleasant fate. At all. Its capable of a Wave-Motion Gun attack from its mouth, which stretches open to let it fire. Attacking it results in even more hordes of Mooks, the Aedleig Spawn, which are smaller, less powerful, but more horrifying looking. Its a Reality Warper inside the valley where it is enshrined, and it constantly has "gladiators" delivered to it, where they fight forever for its amusement.

Next time, I show you what the Seven God Emperors of Gaia look like.

Is there a reason why Nosfiratu's eye's are sewn closed, or...

well, that was the way he was kinda sorta made.

Rule of Cool though, as well as Rule of Freaky.

Nosfiratu is a complex character.

Is there a reason Nosfiratu's name is spelled like that?

(Also, I totally misread the last word of the thread title.)

Now for a few more of my creations:

The Hellhound. A demonic hound created by the Seven God Emperors to try to hunt down Johnson Viandas, using the body of Earl Issarion as the container for its power. The Hound is a demonic beast that is stream lined, powerful, and silent. It will never make a sound, not even if its hurt. It seems to always be twitching. Despite preferring to run on all fours, it can walk upright to fight. In this case, it can freely rotate its arms, legs, and head. The mouth can open wide, down to the middle of the neck. The only sound you will ever hear from a Hellhound is a piercing howl that it sends to indicate its found its target. It is utterly implacable, and was only killed by Johnson going demon form, demon energy blasting it, then eating it.

Blood Rhinoceros: unlike normal rhinoceros, these beasts hunger for blood, and are essentially monsters that kill and stampede over villages For the Evulz. They have been tainted by the presence of the Aedleig. Each one of the beasts has six long horns protruding from its head, two from where the eyes would be, two from the cheeks, and two more on the nose and snout. These beasts have a keen sense of smell and hearing that eradicates the need for eyes, and can actually still see through a form of heat vision through secret small receptors on the head. The legs now end in claws which rip through the earth as the blood rhino marches. As it goes by, the claws slowly degrade, so, the rhino eats humans and specially digests bones to use as fuel for the regrowth of its claws.

Mandrakes are plant monsters which, at first, take the form of a Cute Shotaro Boy or some other icon of cuteness, as a matter of evolution and to try to take advantage of sympathetic or careless individuals crossing the Forest of Kimera. The cute kid is a special gelatinous pod protruding from the ground, connected to a thin cord. Inside the ground is an enormous flower and plant. Despite having a lot of mouths, Vagina Dentata aplenty and a belly full of terrifying acid, these monsters are as civilized as us, and form closely knit social interactions. They would prefer not to kill and eat humans, and only use their trap against people who have destructive intentions toward their forest, or people who want a war. They are an odd version of a Token Evil Team Mate to the heroes. Most of their horrific moments are against the Phoebononians.

@ Jewelled: no particular reason, it just gave a feel of him being older, more powerful than your usual Mook demon.

A-Mercurius

A strange entity living in the arid zones of Mercury, known for its Absolute Regeneration and Absolute Power of All Destruction, which allows it to destroy anything that it encounters with a given success rate based on Power Levels. A-Mercurius is all at once beautiful and terrible. It has the appearance of a somewhat dragon-like creature but in the structure of a human, and with medieval armor as its skin. Its armor is a dark red, and the plate on the head seems to have a lot of eyes, as do the shoulder plates. There is a large halo behind it connected to the whole creature by tentacles tipped with dark red arrowheads.

A-Mercurius is known for being one of the strongest entities in my multiverse, and it took a lot of Supremacies to get rid of its aggressive impulses that led it to destroy a whole galaxy. Nowadays, A-Mercurius is mostly benign, but its very presence is a toxic influence on a planet that is not mercury. Wherever it goes, the planet is turned to a structure like its armor, and life itself slowly reshapes into life like Mercurius. If it senses hostile intent, it reacts explosively, doing all it can to obliterate the hostile enemy.

A-Mercurius' natural abilities

  • Immunity to the Law of Magical Decay: It can function and use magic without deteriorating from using it too much.
  • Infectious Energy: If someone takes in any of A-Mercurius' power or worse, actual flesh, they are turned to a veritable demigod mage, this frequently results in a Superpowered Evil Side.
  • The Force of Obliteration: the capability to telekinetically pull atoms apart.
  • The Light of Purity: conversely from its destructive past and capabilities, this is quite possibly a Gentle Giant, and can purify the "vampire disease", and all other diseases and impurities from someone. Even a shard of it can do this, but this purification power can go rather wrong if overused.

All of that sound pretty awesome, and and at the same time very creepy, except perhaps the mandrakes and A-Merurious.

What are the good guys like, just for reference?

the good guys:

Johnson Viandas, A badass teenage merc swordsman who is half demon, and that half of him is always trying to take control. Its a wonder how he defeats these things, but he is just that strong and has put himself through a lot of Training from Hell.

Neira Elmsritter, a female knight who joined up with Johnson and very quickly made herself look like the kind of person easily shipped with him. Oh how very wrong you are. Actually a manipulative bitch who seduced Johnson in hopes of controlling said demon side, and puts herself in danger to draw it out. Her Freudian Excuse makes it VERY understandable.

Royden, a thirty something swordsman, Hidden Depths is his personality. He at first seems to be just a duty driven man, but he is playing his own Xanatos Gambit to try to take revenge on the Big Bad for his hellish childhood. Capable of absolutely mind breaking speed and making swords out of energy.

Polymera Amber, Fetish Fuel Station Attendant with revenge on her mind against Richard Viandas, she is currently at the home base helping prep for an attack. Capable of transforming to various animals, and is a nubile, sultry woman who is fond of not wearing anything at all. Is actually a nature priestess in training, and this talent comes in handy when dealing with certain enemies.

what do you think of A-Mercurius?

I mean the good species as a whole, not the protagonists...

As for The gigantic Dragon-mech-god-thing that is A-mecruius, I think it's pretty awesome. Could make for an interesting shot if you saw naught but a barren metallic wasteland, and the hulking figure marching off into the distance

well, there are the humans, but given a very large level of Humans Are Bastards. This is a crappy world to live in, but it is actually getting better.
