Why must you include rape?
Also, SCP smuggling OUT of Foundation containment is no mean feat.

Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Because I couldn't find another way to make it clear how much his father had been single minded and obsessed in making his son straight, to the point that being straight is all that his son is - there is no capacity for empathy or even an understanding of anything outside the simplest of urges, and the chief among them is the seared need to copulate with a female as the prime reason for being. Consent, or the need for it, becomes a concept that its mind cannot comprehend.
When dealing with a person who has warped someones sexuality to a sickening degree, you need warped and sickened sexuality.
As for smuggling them out, for a head researcher in charge of a bunch of low risk, low security items, it would be hard, but nowhere close to impossible.
Yes. Because that's the height of heterosexuality. A rape monster. Brilliant!
(V)(;,,;)(V)Also, I have a feeling you have a bone to pick here. That's also undercutting the idea. SCP don't usually (or ever, as far as I know) have a moral message. It just doesn't work with the format.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish? What part of Gone Horribly Right confuses you?
Even if I did intend for this to be a moral message, what the hell is it? "Don't chain your son int he basement and use artifacts of unknown origin or power on him, because it will backfire"?
" Cure Your Gays is bad, mmkay. "
Not that it's not a correct statement, but it just comes off as a preachy SCP story. And if I saw that immediately, others will.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Wait, I would have thought that was obvious, not a moral. Its just "here's a twist on something we all know is horrific, to make it even more so."
Besides, isn't 1425, and the Fifthist Church overall, pretty much preaching against Scientology?
I just feel it's, overall, a horrible idea.
(V)(;,,;)(V)^ Agreed, I was going for specifics.
Fifthist: I... don't think that was the point of it. Besides, they're way more New Agey.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish? The Fifthist is more about religion on LSD, than a parody of Scientology or religion though the eyes of a Eldritch Abomination.
The idea as it stands right now, it's just a rape monster. Being in bad taste aside, they've probably seen fifty of them (it did start on 4chan after all) and shot them all down. They probably won't even get to the backstory.
My suggestion is either scale it back so it's more insidious, or make it part of the "brainwash your kid" industry.
Another problem is that your flat out saying what has happened and why, when part of the fun of the SCP's is what is implied and what you can figure out for yourself.
I don't know if you've seen this but this is the How to Write a SCP article.
Edit: oh, there's a specific warning against using rape in the SCP's in the Pitfalls's article. http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/mackenzie-pitfalls#toc13 That should take you right to it.

Edit: Ah forget it, this is not worth going through the same experience again for.

I'm sorry if my suggestions offended you, I merely wanted to help you work on the idea. I linked to the article as to show what had already been said on the subject, on the site it's self.
And since I seem to have stuck my foot in my mouth I'll be going now.
Did somebody seriously propose a rape monster? Stop. There's no easier way to write a shitty SCP than to write a rape monster.
It wasn't just a rape monster. It was the physical manifestation of "straightness"
(V)(;,,;)(V)Honestly, the only thing I dislike about the SCP Foundation is how some of the people are so rude.
The staff seems dismissive and arrogant, and no one calls them out on it.
Perhaps this has changed since I looked into the comments and such, but the last time I did I was really put off by the attitude of many of the staff members.
When was the last time you looked through the comments? A number of admins ended up stripped of their positions or banned for flaming people in comments and being all around assholes.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.Guys, check out the SCP wiki quickly before the end of April Fools' Day. That's hilarious.
There was this one Foundation tale about an Agent that made up a door SCP where what you see through the door is something you fear. The Agent tried to escape and went insane because his son died.
One of the made up things that came through the door is this creature made of eyeballs and this address written in a D-Class' blood. I've completely forgotten what the tale is called, though.
"Somehow the hated have to walk a tightrope, while those who hate do not."I assume this is the main thread for discussing the SCP Foundation, no?
I have read a few passages from the Nightmare Fuel page after curiosity finally got the best of me when I read an entry on The Juggernaut trope article that mentioned SCP-682, which had a link to the list of attempts to kill the damn thing.
Damn. That's some terrifying stuff there. Good thing the Foundation always manages to preve— What do you mean they had to use the Reset Button to reverse global catastrophe after failing to prevent it?? Wait... MORE THAN ONCE!?
<whimpers in paranoia>

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It's implied that SCP-2000 has been used way more times than they'd like to admit.
... Is there any particular reason why SCP-2998 has absolutely no mention anywhere on this site? No character sheet entry, not even at least one trope entry about the whole Mind Screw-y, Paranoia Fuel-inducing mystery surrounding its sequence of, as the initial page says, "untrue and misleading iterations"?
On another note, if I have no current intention to write an SCP in the near or far future of my expected human lifespan, should I bother registering as a member of the SCP wiki? I'm not sure if there would be any point to do so.
EDIT: ... So, I read the very vague NightmareFuel.SCP Foundation entry on SCP-835. Please advise: Do I really want to click on the link, or is it too horrifically nauseating of a Schmuck Bait for me to risk doing so?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Because no one has yet bothered to do so; it will allow you to provide direct feedback to other authors if you're interested in that; and I found it too over-the-top to be that disturbing, myself. SOYLENT REEF IS PEOPLE
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable
Anyone mind if I run an idea of mine by you guys before I pitch it on the site?
Okay, so its a severely warped humanoid, with approximately 800% of the testosterone in its bloodstream that a normal human male would have. It looks severely warped, grossly overmuscled, almost primal in appearance, with a penis about 6 times the average male length and girth. Its low functioning, being capable of only basic grunts and screams for communication. Despite this, it seems to be able to detect any nearby females, and will attempt to escape, showing a level of strength that is not demonstrated in any other period - including high levels of anger. Ifi t meets a female, it will violently sexually assault that female. T He creatures brutal nature and strength usually means the woman dies very quickly in the experieince, but the creature shows either no awareness or concern that she has died. Consequentially, the site is to have an all male staff, with no exceptions, and located at least 50 miles from any area with regular human activity. 3 times a day, a sheep is to be killed and placed in the cell before it goes cold. After half an hour, the corpse is to be removed and burned.
Past a level 3 encryption, we get the origin. They found it in the home of a head researcher of the Foundation after his wife called the police while being brutally assaulted. She died before help could come, but a MTF managed to finally sedate the thing and get it to the proper holding center. A sweep of the house turned up what had created it - the head researcher had smuggled out several low security SCP's and used them on his own son. His son came out, hoping his father would accept him. He didn't. He tried to get a straight son. He did.
Sort of an attempt at a Gone Horribly Right of Cure Your Gays
