It'll cost over 300$ regardless, from what I've seen.
My problem is I simply can't play handheld games. The screen is too small. If this was the Vita or PSP, I'd be in the clear but nooo, Atlus had to decide to put SMTIV and Apocalypse on the 3DS. They put the Persona shit on PSP and Vita because...uh....fuck you that's why.
I'm a newcomer to the SMT franchise and would like to play SMTIV but I dunno if I can justify spending all the extra hundreds of dollars making my 3DS playable on a biger screen just for, like, four games. (Devil Survivor remakes as well)

Eh. I'm sure all their stuff will be available on the Switch E-Shop and Virtual Console soon enough, so the option to play on Consoles may still be available to you.
One Strip! One Strip!PSP screen: 110 millimeters
(New) 3DS XL screen: 124 millimeters
I think the point was not to compare the PSP and Vita screen sizes compared to the 3DS, but how PSP and Vita have easy accessible methods of output to a different (presumably much larger) screen.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Yep. The Vita has PSTV and PSPS can easily be displayed o a proper screen with one cheap chord.
Really? If that's the case then sign me up for a fan of this thing I didn't know anything about. Best console ever.
Thanks for the info.
...You didn't know about the Nintendo Switch?
It's got a thread right here in the game forum. It's supposed to be out sometime this March at the latest.
One Strip! One Strip!I know the name but I haven't owned a Nintendo console in over ten years. I wasn't paying attention to anything about it.
Huh.
I genuinely thought it was one of those things you couldn't avoid learning about if you were a gamer.
I mean, I don't touch much Sony and Microsoft stuff, but I still know when they are doing new stuff.
I guess I'm just surprised. Even if you don't keep track of Nintendo, I assumed it was one of those things any gamer would hear of.
So once again, I'm completely wrong about everything.
One Strip! One Strip! No, it is pretty hard to avoid the Switch. There are clickbait articles about it everywhere, and it's even been demoed on the Tonight Show. Not hearing about it is an anomaly.
See. I thought so.
It's like I was saying; if you are a gamer, even if you're only into one system, you'll still hear about what the other guys have planned.
Cool. I'm clearly a genius.
One Strip! One Strip!Effective marketing means that you gotta get the people hiding under rocks to notice.

I don't think people take Watchmojo seriously.

Nice, thanks for the heads up. I'm not on the list but I guess it's time to change passwords now.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I wasn't there either.
I got work in a bit, but I'm also gonna change mine when I get back.
What happened though. I thought Nintendo passwords were pretty safe? I mean, isn't the whole reason they do things the way they do to prevent this kind of thing?
One Strip! One Strip! What happened here is that a guy took a Nugget Bridge (competitive Pokemon site) password leak and checked for NNIDs with the same name. Some people used the same passwords there too. That was the list. This was confirmed by the person themselves.
So if you don't have an account at Nugget Bridge, you're safe.

Me and significant other safe. Phew.
I honestly don't even remember my passwords, so having to change them by fiddling with password recovery methods is always a pain for me.
Don't belong to bridge of chicken pieces, self safety assured further.

Never even heard of that site.
It's a Pokemon VGC resource that was hacked a while ago and they went inactive for a long time.
Well if that's the case, I guess I don't have anything to worry about.
Good to know.
One Strip! One Strip! The 3DS has shipped 65.30 million units. Pokemon Sun and Moon are at 14.69 million and are probably guaranteed to be the top selling games on the system. Pokemon X and Y are at 16.06 and are more or less guaranteed to beat Ruby and Sapphire. Mario Kart 7 is at 14.82 million. Mario 3D Land at 11.17 million. New Super Mario Bros. 2 at 11.09 million. Which one will come out on top?
Mario Maker 3DS hit 2.01 million while Kirby: Planet Robobot is at 1.32 million.
You could ask Chuggaaconroy what capture card he uses for 3DS games but I think he built it himself.
