I was joking with 1 (really, you should expect some sarcasm from someone with my name), but 2 and 3 are true. My chars are to get the plotball rolling- they'll be little more than Mission Control for most of the RP. But because of the possible Arbitrary Headcount Limit that may come into play soon, I don't want there to be a whole bunch of characters to the same R Per.

And besides that, multiple characters gives one person way too much control over the plot, so I'm trying to take care of all the NP Cs this time.

Its just in all the other rps I have used the Giery and Harmina relationship to set up conflict, and it is kinda integral to the character.

@Sarcastically Insane: formatted as per you asking. Also, I've checked the Banlist - I have no forbidden and one or two limiteds.

@Nick: We don't need any more conflict, believe me. I have everything we need for the RP right now, and we have enough characters as it is.

Gonna use a tweaked version of my Tag Force 3 deck. Still accepting new members?

  • Name: Tsuki Sazarame
  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 16
  • Duel Disk: Academy-issue
  • Dorm: First-year Ra Yellow
  • Appearance: Essentially Tall, Dark and Bishoujo, only short, with straight short (but still dark) hair, and not actually overly attractive.
  • History: One of the least stand-out members of the Ra Yellow dorm, Tsuki passed the local Duel Academy recruitment exam near the top of the bracket, but was put into Ra Yellow on account of not having attended a special dueling school. As a result, she's not very happy with either the faculty or the Obelisk Blue members, and will jump at the chance to prove herself worthy of promotion. Thus, any Blue who wants a duel will be responded to and beaten as well as she can manage it. Lower-level students won't be as lucky here, as she wants to keep as much of her strategy within a duel as under-wraps as possible. A fairly normal, well-adjusted girl, but occasionally gets homesick on the island.
  • Other: That's about it, for her. Dark Red Enchanter is her Duel Spirit.
  • Deck: Spellcaster-based, uses Spell Counters. (NOTE: I have a non-english version of the game, so some of these names may not be correct. Please advise if you know the real names.)

Monsters: 19

  • The Tricky (x2) - Level 5
  • Dark Red Enchanter (x1) - Level 6
  • Royal Magical Library (x2) - Level 4
  • Magical Plant Mandragora (x1) - Level 2
  • Mythical Beast Cerberus (x3) - Level 4
  • Blastfire Magician (x3) - Level 4
  • Magician's Valkyrie (x3) - Level 4
  • Rapidfire Magician (x1) - Level 4
  • Silent Mage LV 4 (x2) - Level 4
  • Silent Mage LV 8 (x1) - Level 8

Spells: 15

  • Lightning Vortex (x1) - Normal
  • Double Spell (x1) - Normal
  • Golden Sarcophagus (x1) - Normal
  • Hammer Shot (x1) - Normal
  • Magical Dimension (x1) - Quick-Play
  • Magical Stone Excavation (x1) - Normal (Semi-Limited)
  • Spell Blast (?) (x2) - Normal
  • Mystical Space Typhoon (x1) - Quick-Play (Limited)
  • Monster Reborn (x1) - Normal
  • Pot of Avarice (x1) - Normal
  • Magicians Unite (x1) - Normal
  • Swords of Revealing Light (x1) - Normal (Limited)
  • Spell Absorbtion (x1) - Permanent

Traps: 8

  • Bottomless Trap Hole (x1) - Normal
  • Divine Wrath (x1) - Counter
  • Magician's Circle (x1) - Normal
  • Magical Drain (x1) - Normal
  • Pitch-Black Energy Stone (x1) - Permanent
  • Mirror Force (x1) - Normal (Limited)
  • Widespread Ruin (x1) - Normal
  • Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell (x1) - Counter

That enough to get me in?

Edit: Thanks, tachikaze!

@tachikaze: The "Pot Of Sloth" one is the one that lets you put 5 monsters back into your deck from your graveyard then draw 2 cards, while the "Complete Devastation" one is the trap which activates with an enemy's attack and kills the monster with the highest attack. Does that help? Also, thanks again for the name help!

Nick. He would if he knew the names, obviously. >_>

(Not sure if that's the correct gender pronoun for you, Iniquitus. Apologies if it isn't. Excellent choice of username, by the way. Tu scit Latinam?)

Canis Latinicus, I'm afraid, @darksidevoid. I can't actually remembered if I misspelled 'Inquisitor' spectacularly, or if it was supposed to refer to the word iniquitous. Got the gender bang on, too.

@Nick The Swing, thanks for the names. Like I said, I have a non-English (German, if you care) version of the game, and I have to translate the names of the cards I can't check with my real-life box o' cards literally, so sorry about the names. Edited them in now. If you realise my translation fail isn't gone by now, please advise and I'll edit the names in.

^^Actually, now that I think about it, that doesn't really make sense. At first I thought it worked as a compound word, but then I realized ini would have to be a different tense...

Anyway, the word Inquisitor is derived from is most likely... inquisitor.

Well, whatever its source, you can just claim that your username has multiple meanings. Lucky you! grin

@SI: Thanks! And she hates being reminded that she's not in Obelisk Blue. So Giery can and will get under her skin.

I've had an idea regarding the plot: Tsuki gets called up by a teacher in class to list some basic dueling knowledge (list of spell card types etc.), gets it as correct as I can manage, then gets called out by the teacher. She argues back, and has to fight a duel with one of the students to avoid detention/duel suspension/whatever else is important for her. The teacher chooses an Obelisk (knowing her dislike for them) and goads her into going all-out during the duel. Could be a sort of way to get her to show her hand (ha ha) and see if she's good enough to join the group that you alluded to near the start of the RP?

Edit: @darksidevoid, you speak Latin?

...

Awesome.

I have an idea for the Obelisk Goon she duels. Basically, the goon is one of Giery's Posse, another Jerk Jock type. They would have a heaping helping of Ho Yay.

Last time I checked, wasn't Sean the only Obelisk currently in the RP? Or did Giery get promoted while I was away?

Also, welcome newcomer. Sorry you play the only girl at the moment...

Sadly, I'm a guy, though I have some preferences in common with poor old Tsuki. There Are No Girls on the Internet.

...Except the girls playing guys.

Hey, this is actually a fairly accurate representation of Yu-Gi-Oh!: only one chick, who (knowing my relationship with the Random Number God) will get owned repeatedly (who the hell makes a deck without Magical Cylinder? Me, of course.), while the guys run around actually doing something.

Oh, and I checked Michael's profile. It looks like she'll have to duel him at some point, because she's not very talented. :P

Edit: Hang on. Is Anna gone already?

I know. The only tweaking I did was putting in Monster Reborn instead of Heavy Storm. (Idea: Use Malevolent Catastrophe instead?) Crappy archetype theme decks FTW!

Also, who volunteers to face Tsuki for her first duel? :D

Sean has outright challenged her, so I'd say him. He's a bit stung after his first loss. I swear the drawing was awful for that match...

Speaking of which, how does a GM actually work? Do they just assign each card to a number, then use a randomiser to churn out a sequence of those numbers and go from there, or am I wrong?
