Opening. I don't see any value in keeping this. I don't think it's common enough to be a fanfic sub-genre. Maybe we can redirect it to Magical Girl AU (since they have a supertrope-subtrope relationship according to Fuku Fic) to keep the inbounds? Or some other trope that fits better.

Macron's notesI'm thinking of a disambig between that, FanWorks.Sailor Moon, and FanWorks.Ranma One Half... Probably not def-only page material.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Disambig. I'm also good with just cutting.
TRS Queue | Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallToo Rare to Trope, merge.
There's so much I wish I could take back.I think I like the ideas of
- Disambiguate the page between FanWorks.Sailor Moon, FanWorks.Ranma One Half, and Magical Girl AU, as the page has a lot of inbounds.
- Move Fuku Fic's definition to Common Crossover and/or Fandom-Specific Plot, specific FukuFics can go to Crossover.Fan Works.
And neither of these are mutually exclusive, so even better.

"Grandmaster Combat, son!"The first option sounds good.
Macron's notesDisambiguate. This is both Too Rare to Trope and The Same, but More Specific in its current form.
Hell, one could interpret the the description as admitting it by calling it a very specific form of Intercontinuity Crossover, though it could be a case of Ambiguous Syntax.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Merge as it's Too Rare to Trope.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportJust thought I'd mention that when it comes to tallying, I was intending to lump merge and disambiguate votes together, since I was intending to disambiguate instead of redirect either way (mainly between Common Crossover, Intercontinuity Crossover, Fandom-Specific Plot, and Magical Girl AU).

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I think I had the impression that this was something that was more common in a past period of internet fandom, when the respective series were more prominent, much like TVT's early hyperfocus on Buffy. I don't actually know that, though.
I like the idea of redirecting it to Magical Girl AU.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThere are a lot of things early TV Tropes hyperfocused on. Old WMG pages are full of dated TV Tropes in-jokes.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Yeah, I'll agree this was something that was more common in the past. Sailor Moon and Ranma used to be the all consuming juggernauts in the English languge anime fanfic space so their crossovers were a "Thing" but the rise of streaming servies and the broadening of the fandom's reach definitely makes this a "past tense" thing.
I support disambiguating it and moving the description to a Fandom-Specific Plot entry
I support moving elements Fuku Fic into Magical Girl AU, Fandom-Specific Plot and Common Crossover. It's very much Too Rare to Trope and The Same, but More Specific.
I wonder if the main page could maybe be kept as fanspeak, but other than that I'm fully behind the merge idea.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWe could turn into a Fanspeak page if we wanted to, yeah. That's basically what it is. All we would have to do is remove it from trope lists and call it a day.
Macron's notesAs long as the examples can be preserved and moved to other pages, I'm fine with it getting disambiguated. It is absolutely an artifact of an earlier era of TV Tropes.
I'd like to see the examples get cleaned before we move them, as several of them are sourced through dead weblinks.
"Grandmaster Combat, son!"I will remove that. What are the links I need to clean up?
Slow your roll a bit, we can't launch into cleanup yet. And the dead-link ones will just be cut during that phase.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI wasn't going to jump into things until a crowner closed (which we don't even have yet), but I was pointing it out for those who are concerned about keeping the examples safe.
"Grandmaster Combat, son!"I was more responding to Adept there.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
Crown Description:
Fuku Fic lacks wicks and has a very narrow definition (which raised concerns that it's Too Rare To Trope and The Same But More Specific to Intercontinuity Crossover, Common Crossover, and Fandom Specific Plot), and it's been pointed out that our definition of the term doesn't match up with how it's used elsewhere on the Internet. What should be done with it?
Fuku Fic is a trope about a FandomSpecificPlot/CommonCrossover, except very specific, regarding a certain type of Ranma ½ / Sailor Moon crossover.
The page is in pretty poor shape and several of the examples are of questionable quality, including
It's rather barren and low on wicks (of its 46 non sandbox wicks, only 5 of them are on work pages) despite its age note , and would fit better under one or more of the tropes listed above instead of as its own distinct category.
While the page was TRS'd before in 2017, the primary defense was that the page was fine and observed a thing that happens, but the page is absolutely not in fine shape and is lacking in wicks on actual work pages, and could easily be filed under one or both of the tropes listed at the top of the OP without losing much of substance.
"Grandmaster Combat, son!"
