Checking this as part of Overdosed Tropes...
So, the page image should be changed, for one?
And this from Dark Secret doesn't count?
- Several characters in Scream Queens have some dark secret that they don't want getting out. Chanel #3 believes that her father could be Charles Manson, Chanel #5 touches herself to Dora The Explorer and Chad is extremely ashamed of his [[The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others lactose intolerance]]. Kappa keeps an entire room filled with the evidence of their more disturbing acts, most of which we don't learn the whole story of, but there is one event that leads to different people's own secrets. In 1995 members of the sorority allowed a girl to die in a bathtub in order to continue a party being hosted in Kappa House. Dean Munsch, to save her own career, helped cover the incident up.

For reference, there are currently 2513 wicks to this page.
I'm back!Took it down below the Trope Overdosed public of 2500 to 2498, by removing all Quotes page potholes.
Now 2488.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576The description still needs cleanup, as mentioned here. The TRS thread didn't do that. The current listed subtropes are:

I'm back!Follow the subtrope list on Index of Lists? Maybe remove Odd Name Out?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576I removed everything that is not about an ordered list, though I'll keep And a Diet Coke because of a common variant in dialogue. I'm still unsure about The Simple Gesture Wins, which is about a series of attempts to communicate by gesture, with the last and simplest one working best.
I'm back!Simple Gesture is more scene sequence than List. I'd remove.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Well, it's above 2500 again. Let's see if I can cut it down...
How is this not like the others? It's going for a Wendy / Windy, I think?
- The Psych episodes "Cloudy...Chance of Murder" and its remake "Cloudy...with a Chance of Improvement" feature Shawn coming up with weatherman-sounding names for a frustrated meteorologist, including Bolt Lightning, Cloudy Mcmillan, and... [[The Last Of These Is Not Likethe Others Wendy Morningdew?]]
Unclear; probably not the full list. Just cut that wick and the preceding ellipsis.
I'm back!I think I'm better at figuring out if wicks are in-universe lists or not, but I'm not so good at figuring out if there's better tropes. Anyone mind going through the ones I didn't delete?
I'm working from the top down, mainly. Did like, 20 from the bottom up.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Well, cut it down to below 2500... I wonder how many examples really exist that aren't a sub-trope...
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576And going at it again, this time, with a stored list, so I can tell how many actually count, and stuff.
But I'll need some help. Like, is any of this Bread, Eggs, Milk, Squick?
ZeroPunctuation.Tropes I To L:
- The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others:
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution has breathtaking visuals, the impish appeal of stealth, rewarding exploration, but most importantly, you can pick up every vending machine in the building and pack them in the office of your least favorite co-worker.
- "...Catherine, a Japanese game centrally about the difficulties of relationships, such as unexpected pregnancy, the impetus of commitment, and being chased up an infinite staircase by a giant, monstrous girlfriend trying to eat you with her butt. Did I mention it's Japanese?"
- "... There's one setpiece in Gears Guyve that is an extended reference to the musical Hamilton of all things. You find yourself up on stage in a theater with a monstrosity. Stages lights come on and jazzy music plays as you fight it. As is often the case when a game starts singing at you, this could've been a highlight, like the Ashtray maze in Control, or that number the Joker does in Arkham Knight, or the wonderful musical sound that Wolfenstein: Youngblood makes when you smash it with a hockey stick."
- In his Batman: Arkham Asylum review: "I could go on about how the combat flows, or how the atmosphere is solid, and how the highlights for me were the Scarecrow sections where Batman's perceptions of reality are skewed in favour of a nightmarish and delusional glimpse into the darkest recesses of Batman's soul, and how jumping on people is cool..."
And how accurate is The Triple's description? Are The Last's "subtropes" really more The Triple's so that those things are actually needing 3 items no more no less?
Like:
WesternAnimation.Tuttle Twins:
- Take That!: The show, made for children, shamelessly pokes fun at communists.
- Gabby: Vamanos! We have places to go. People to see. Communists [[The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others to offend!]]

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576And checked all the Main wicks. Can someone check them for a second opinion? 2657 wicks exist. IIRC there were 2500 only at one point in the distant past.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Okay, it's 2597 now... And given how many characters I've moved to The Runt at the End, for when they don't match a group...
With some more help, we can get this below 2500 again and possibly even <2000.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Been using The Runt at the End for when its talking about characters, not in-universe lists, so this should be undeleted, right?
And this Green Goblin one too?
Then I gotta remove the ones on this page, and this one, although that last work is very low info...
And now it's at 2582 wicks, where before it was 2576...
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576A new TRS round was done once I realized that the misuse kept coming. Since we decided to rename and convert into an index, this thread no longer has a purpose.
Closing. We are still deciding on the new name.

Some time ago, the trope The Last Of These Is Not Like The Others was declared In-Universe Examples Only, to discourage use outside of In-Universe dialog or lists. Not only are wicks in the thousands, more wicks are being added over time, throwing off progress tracking.
You can read up on the TRS thread here.
The task is simple: remove any wicks that are not related to In-Universe lists. Any wicks involving names that stand out can be safely replaced with Odd Name Out.
