I'm working on an adventure in Spore as part of a conspiracy/paranormal series. The current arc is a time travel story that I'll not bore you with the details of, but in it the player character gets violently ripped from time-space (after participating in the Philadelphia Experiment) and flung randomly through timespace, which I'm portraying as a Blipvert-esque rapid fire sequence of flying through different conspiracy/paranormal-related scenes at various points in history before finally landing in the time and place where the meat of the story takes place.

In order, the scenes are:

Due to pacing issues and because I have enough room, I've decided to add a fifth scene after the alien invasion and before the Nazis, but I'm having trouble coming up with anything. Because of how the transitions on either side work, it has to be something that takes place in a tunnel, corridor, or similar space, but the only things I can think of are Princess Diana's fateful "accident" in the underpass in Paris note  and a fly-through of one of those "Deep Underground Military Bases" (or "D.U.M.B.s", for short. Yes, really) that conspiracy theorists are always talking about note . So I've come here looking for ideas. Do you have any?

Considering how fast the player character would be moving, I feel like just having a tunnel with some guys in it would be too easy to miss. Either the environment or the scenario occurring there would have to be visually complex enough to be recognizable. Plus, I'd like to avoid scenes involving aliens since there are already two of those.

So you're moving at speed and must get through a tunnel/corridor as a linking sequence, one more or less tied to a real-life conspiracy... Do I have that right? This is a run-and-gun?

Would a Lava Escape-type situation not work? Like the end of the Cave of Wonders stage in the SNES Aladdin game? The conspiracy would be... er, 'sewer fluoridation'. ("First they came for our drinking water, now they're after our dark water!")

Or! A forest stage. You're hunting cryptos or outrunning The Darkness (like that Doctor Who thingy) or picking a fight with GMO carnivorous plants...

Not a run-and-gun so much as a hurtle-uncontrollably-through-the-air-and-passively-observe. The player doesn't actually do anything for this segment.

I might actually be able to do something with sewer fluoridation, though.
