What I mean by non-in-house Disney:

I mean that no Animated Canon, Mary Poppins, Pete's Dragon, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Cheapquels, or anything by Disneytoon either...so no Goofy Movie.

But, what CAN be included:

Pixar

Dreamworks

Muppets

Studio Ghibli

Anything that's distributed by Disney but not made in-house

the four theatrical Peanuts movies

Any animated movie based on a cartoon

...And stuff like those

Here is the link to my list:

From MUPPETS TAKE MANHATTAN: Saying Goodbye, He'll Make Me Happy

A Boy Named Charlie Brown, At the Beach, and Champion Charlie Brown! All are very cute songs. Especially the last two

I have some more, but these three are the ones I thought off the top of my head quickly.

So, non-Disney movies or movies that were only distributed by Disney ala The Brave Little Toaster? Okay then. I'm not sure I can rank them but here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order:

If that is the case than here are what my favorite songs would be from this category: The Plagues from Prince Of Egypt for it's emotionally compelling drama between Moses and Ramses as well as just being large and grand and generally mesmerizing. When somebody loved me from Toy Story 2 for successfully pulling at your heartstrings and being a nice insight into Jessie's character. Flying Dreams from Secret of Nimh for all around being a soft, comforting pleasant enjoyable song that puts me in a good mood.

Top 10 songs from non-Disney canon films?

A lot of the songs would probably be from Shinbone Alley, that most underrated of all animated films, since it was a stage musical before it was a film. When those songs are good they are good.

But as for otherwise...

The "They're Running Out of Batteries" song from Rock A Doodle for that sheer So Bad, It's Good factor.

Even though it's cheating, since the songs were not written for the movie, all the songs from Sita Sings The Blues. Terrific music.

And on that note, "Smile, Darn Ya, Smile" from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

And that's pretty much it... I must watch more non-Disney films.

"This is Halloween" and "What's This?" from The Nightmare Before Christmas

"Hallelujah" and "All-Star", as heard in Shrek

"Blame Canada" from ''South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut" (don't judge me [lol])

"Beyond the Sea", as heard in Finding Nemo, since you said Pixar counts

"Kung-Fu Fighting", as heard in Kung-Fu Panda

And I know I'd have to think of a couple more to make a full ten and these aren't in order so far, but my number one would have to be "Once Upon a December" from Anastasia.

Stupid doomed timeline...
