Pretty but it looks a lot like Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter.
The only thing I've got right now is this Oglaf strip.
That suggestion really looks like Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHmm... the pic for Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter even looks like it might work better on Crisis of Faith (imageless).
Edit: so you can change articles with that button, neat.
Edit 2: forgot: this was Jerkass Gods before.

Right, so now that it's a suggestion for Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter, I think it's a good improvement.
And yes, Crisis of Faith is probably a better place for the current image to be.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm beyond confused by this thread, what trope is this for because Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter doesn't seem to be the trope we're looking at getting an image for.
Justanid took advantage of the fact that it's possible to change the "forum title" to change what trope page he's suggesting to.
IE, he's now suggesting that this pic goes onto Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter.

Wish he had said something, what was it originally?
I'm sure there's something against changing a thread target midstream like that.
I did say in post 4 and it's easy enough to put back. Done.
Regardless of what the thread is attached to, the suggestion in OP is better for Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter than for this trope, and it's better for that trope than the one currently there.
Sometimes threads do change what they point to, though. Mostly in the case of duplicates, as which one should be changed isn't always clear.
Check out my fanfiction!I don't see any point in changing the name back to Jerkass Gods unless we're actually going to talk about Jerkass Gods. So I'm making some suggestions. Everyone knows that Zeus◊ can be a real dick. I really like this one◊, but it's watermarked. If we can get permission from the artist, I would favor this.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. The suggested images looked closer to evil than Jerkass, IMO, especially with those Glowing Eyes of Doom.
But Zeus was indeed the first that came to mind when thinking about this trope, so a couple more suggestions of him:
I really like 14.4. Though 14.3 is throwing me a red link. Might be my school's IP filter.
I'll just make a new thread for Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter.
I like 14.3 the best so far.
I kinda like 14.3 and 14.4
This◊ for the camp Ho-Yayness of it.
While the example in the trope's page says that the actual mythology says otherwise... This dude◊ was quite the conniving troll in the movie at least.

That first one is funny. The second one is more Evil God.
Check out my fanfiction! For the record, moving Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter's pic to Crisis of Faith and replacing it with the OP suits me just fine.
For Jerkass Gods, I like 14.2 and panels 2 + 3 of 14.4, leaning toward the latter.

That's really good.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I like 17.1.
Just Zeus (given the Macho Camp I assume it's Zeus and not God) casting thunderbolts with a giant smile on his face. Easily recognizable as a god, and it's Jerkass and not Evil since he's smiling so damn stupidly.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.That's...really mean-spirited. Fitting or not, I'd rather have something that's funny without being cruel.
Yeah, you're right. The comic works, but calling the Judeo-Christian God a Jerkass is just asking for flame. Most people won't be offended by Zeus.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Yeah, that looks fairly controversial. Thumbing it down.
